They warned us it would be 35 minutes when we arrived at 11. We ordered about 11:07. Evidently there always a delay in the order being put in as we were told at 12:00 that our ordered was only at 28 minutes. We received our food 10 minutes later. Katie was my server. Upon walking up not busy at all . I was seated immediately. Katie was friendly and welcoming. Two sides to restaurant, diner side with bar area and restaurant seating style. I opted for a table. Ambiance reminded me of Happy Days vibes. Old school posters of many characters and faces to remind you of the innocence of messages and jokes. Old school telephone booth as a picturesque prop. I loved the whole theme . Diner area was clean and high top and bar seating was available. Outside patio as well. I ordered a lemon drop for my drink , I don't want to complain about it but initially I did ask for a lemon drop and make it pretty and sweet. She brought it back strong and bland. Quesadillas fajita style was delicious no complaints. Katie did come and check on me so I was appreciative of that. Prices are reasonable and restroom is unisex and basic. My husband was looking for somewhere different and found Letty Lou's. The reviews were mixed, but we decided to give it a try. First of all, I can't really figure this place out. The ceiling makes it look industrial. The seating makes it look like a diner. And then there's the kitsch - old ads, etc, framed and hanging on sterile looking walls. There's no warmth in there. There is a random red telephone booth. If you walk from the room that's clearly a dining room, into the attached room, there's a bar. There are high top tables in there. It was empty when we got there and two guys were watching a game when we left. I'm not sure who bartends. Also, they close at 8:00 so the whole bar set up seemed odd. Our server was efficient. She wasn't unpleasant, but also not pleasant - just doing her job. There is one bathroom there. It's for men, women, and it's also the family bathroom. It's literally a bathroom with a sink and a toilet and a changing table. It wasn't very clean - it needs a deep clean and then to be kept up. My husband got the fried chicken special and said it was too salty, but otherwise good. The skin looked way overcooked to me, but he said it wasn't bad. I ordered the Horse Shoe. I'd only had one once before and that was at a friend's house and I really liked it. This one, not so much. I ordered it with fries and they gave me tots. And there was absolutely no flavor. I had my husband try it thinking I was missing something, but he didn't detect any flavor either. We're always up for trying a new to us place and sometimes it's a miss. This was one of those times. Wow the food here is really good! The Letty Lou burger is something special with the cheese baked inside along with the juicy burger and crispy fries. Fried green beans were spot on crispy, fresh, and fantastic in the ranch/buttermilk dipping sauce. Our whole family enjoyed their meals. Our server was also attentive and friendly and the decor is neat and something to enjoy while eating. read more

The ambiance is 50's cafe. The service is always good. The Rueben sandwich is good. The pretzels with beer cheese are great. Did not care for the buffalo chicken salad- a little bit of chicken with a lot of iceberg lettuce. Don't recommend the catfish. Letty's is a spacious corner restaurant and bar in Wildwood, easily accessible. The vintage '50's diner vibe is comfortable and fun! The menu is filled with amazing twists on American diner food with breakfast served ALL day and evening. We've always had excellent food and service. From the chicken fried steak to biscuits and gravy... to burgers and salads, every dish comes out great. I don't know how they do it but I'm glad they do! You should go!!! read more

First time here. We came here around lunch time. Wasn't too busy. Service was fast and our waitress was helpful. I love my french dip sandwich. I ordered it with melted Provolone cheese, highly recommended. My friends ordered chicken and waffles. They look like shredded battered deep fried chicken, very small pieces of chicken.. My friends didn't like much. Also ordered Mimosas and Blood Marys, were tasty. Bloody Mary has the perfect level of spice. Yum! This place has some vintage signage on the walls and there is some cute vintage diner seats. Potatoes wedges and pretzel bites were goo Got the Letty Lou Burger it was not only good but a great experience. Never had a stuffed cheese burger. My son ordered it also but it was stuffed with cheese however the cooks disagreed with us. Horrible service! I came around 1pm, restaurant only had a few tables. I waited at least 10 mins on the patio for my order to be taken & no one came. Finally I went inside & asked if I could place my order. Also had to wait again to pay. Grilled cheese was pretty solid, but onion rings were horrible. Grilled cheese came on lightly toasted sourdough bread, there were several kinds of cheese that were really gooey & perfect, and came with tomato. The onion rings were terrible - small shoestring looking onion rings that were limp and had weird thin breading on them. Definitely mad I paid an upcharge for these. If it wasnt for the Grilled cheese being pretty decent, I'd probably be at 1 star for this visit. read more

I think Letty Lou's is a nice vintage-style restaurant that's fun for a lunch. It's good, but extremely expensive for what it is. The service was very nice. They gave me and my family coffee, seated us, made sure our table was clean, the usual. The food was good, as well. Nothing crazy or out of the ordinary. Most American classics are sold here and it's hard to go wrong. They also have food for picky eaters, which is always handy! LOL! read more

'Breakfast, Burgers & Booze' according to the signage out front and the menus. I've only experienced the Burgers. They seem to be calling themselves a Cafe or Cafe & Diner, but there does seem to be a bar area. I didn't get over there so I'm not sure how that part of the business is doing these days. The dining room has 1950s / Route 66 decor. The place is located in a strip mall off Route 109 near an old section of Route 66, so that fits. The service is attentive and friendly. The burgers are amazing. The beef is claimed to be fresh (never frozen) and locally sourced. Having tasted it, I can assure you that was the case for the burger I ate at least. I think these are probably the best burgers you can get your hands on in the metro area. You just can't beat fresh. They have a Jucy (Juicy) Lucy but they don't call it that. There is a cash discount, so bring some. Only room for improvement here is maybe adding some milkshakes to the menu. read more

Petty Lou's is our go-to spot for breakfast. The food is delicious and the potion sizes are good. The main reason we started coming to Letty Lou's was because they are very reasonably priced. They serve breakfast all day, but they also have Burgers, salads, sandwiches, and other items. I personally always get the breakfast so I cannot speak for the rest of the menu, but from what I have tried it is delicious! Compared to the main breakfast chains (I.e. IHOP and Denny's) I would choose Letty Lou's any day. They are a family run business and are always super kind. They always try their best and have never disappointed me. Finally, the aesthetic in the restaurant is very unique. They have a sort of 50's diner aesthetic. One other nice thing is that they have a bar, but it is very separated from the rest of the restaurant. read more

Only issue I had was that my poached egg for my Benedict was over done. Middle was like a hard boiled egg. It's supposed to be runny. My son loved his breakfast of eggs, hash browns and bacon. 1-5-21: So glad that LL's has reopened. We had the fried chicken special with mashed potatoes and green beans. Cooked very well and nice firm green beans that weren't overdone. Great breakfast/brunch spot in deepest, whitest, Wildwood. Boozzy options if you're into that. Great food, breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner too. We stopped in for post bike ride brunch and tables were relatively easy to grab. Service was great, some of our group had beer (lots of options on tap or bottled), and everyone was super happy with food choices. Good low carb, paleo options for a caveman like me too. Will for sure be back after future weekend rides on Zombie, Greensfelder, or any of the other great trail options in the area. read more

A friend and I ate breakfast here , chicken biscuits with gravy, it was delicious!! So I took my husband for dinner thinking we would have the same experience, unfortunately I can't say the same . I ordered the dinner meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy, it was awful. The meat was dry and had a real weird consistency and the gravy was hardly warmed. Warning: in case you've seen this posted somewhere and just randomly show up with your dog in tow, Letty Lou's is not pet friendly. This isn't a bad thing, but it was listed somewhere as "dog's allowed" so we showed up with a dog and had to go back home. Not an awesome way to start out breakfast, but it is what it is. Once we were able to finally order, it took ages to get anything accomplished. Service was extremely slow. We had to go up to the hostess stand ourselves and grab our own silverware. Even the bathrooms were very unkempt. Aside from all that, though, the restaurant is pretty cute and the food was decent. I had the biscuits and gravy and cheddar cheese grits. Both were good. Grits were sticky and covered with a layer of cheese, but all that equaled yummy in my book. My husband got the chicken fried steak which he said was good although the gravy was a tad too sweet. I didn't notice any sweetness, so maybe it's all a matter of opinion. Other in our party had the chicken sliders with gravy and a thing called a Dream Bowl which was scrambled eggs topped with cheddar cheese, gravy and bacon and served over hashbrowns. All my favorites in one bowl! Was told it was pretty good, so next time I'm definitely getting that. Overall, not the best experience but the food made up for it. read more

Awesome!!! We called an audible and visited this place for brunch on Saturday morning. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile by the young lady at the front. She sat us right away. The waitress was very friendly and recommended several dishes. We went for a hash brown skillet (can't remember what it was called) and a pancake (the best I have tasted), Eggs Benedict and a French Dip. All of it was DELICIOUS!!! We also had the bottomless mimosas and they were perfect!!! Overall, a great place with awesome food and very friendly staff. Can't wait to visit again soon!! read more
