We have been receiving offers in the mail since they opened. We recently had the opportunity to stop in for a visit. The team is friendly and helpful with the menu. They offer a wide range of burger options. The main proteins are turkey beef and black bean. The toppings combinations are exponential. We ordered a regular cheese burger and a black bean burger. The bun is soft and fluffy. The toppings are as fresh as you can get. The beef burger was juicy and flavorful. The veggie patty was crisp and tender. We also ordered the hand cut fries and they did not disappoint. The big reason we decided to give them a try was for the milk shakes. Most of the burger places offer shakes made with frozen custard. Having an egg allergy prevents everyone in our family from being able to enjoy a shake with their meal. The shake was perfectly thick and delicious. They have a nice variety to choose from. I've driven past this business so many times and I've been wanting to try it. So I finally did on a Friday night. They share a parking lot with several other businesses in the plaza, but there was plenty of parking and several disabled spots right at the door, including a ramp. They have a nice outdoor patio for seasonable weather. There's plenty of seating inside this casual spot. They have a counter for placing your order and a pick up window on the side. I ordered takeout online and my order was ready even before the promised time. I love that they have several options for a "burger" besides a typical beef patty including hot dogs. They have suggested combinations and also "make your own." They cater to lots of dietary needs, including Vegan, Paleo, Keto, etc. On this visit, I chose the Dr. Praeger black bean burger with all kinds of toppings. I love the option of avocado slices and the fried onion straws. I had a hard time choosing between the regular fries, sweet potato fries or the house made chips. I decided on the regular fries and it was a good choice. I chose the personal size and the portion was huge. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty. Service was good on my visit and they seem to keep the establishment very clean. This is definitely worth a stop for a casual meal. read more

Enjoyed a solo meal after a little retail therapy. I ordered The bacon cheeseburger was delicious. Cooked perfectly with crunchy edges. The bun was soft and buttery. The cheese and other condiments make it messy, but in a good way.The sweet potato fries were ok. They needed some seasoning.The Oreo cookie shake was delicious, not overly sweet and the perfect consistency, not too thick. The menu is A la carte. The inside is clean and spacious with plenty of seating. There is also a patio for the warmer days. Staff were friendly and welcoming. They brought my food to the table, and checked on me often. I never get to O'Fallon but had to go for a Dr. appointment. It was St. Patrick's Day and around 1pm when we got out and all the puds celebrating the holiday were packed. Naturally. So, I looked on Yelp of course asked my driver what she was in the mood for... one I explained again that she wasn't getting corned beef and cabbage she settled on a burger. But... at MooYah you don't "settle". This burger was well made. There were a TON of fries. We actually day someone's fries come out and knew we could split them. We also each bought a shake. I got a mushroom burger. It was good. Perfect amount of cheese. Could have had a few more mushrooms, the onion straws were a nice touch. It seems like a lot of places are doing that more and more. The shakes tasted like they were out of a machine which honestly is fine. I don't think it said anywhere that they are handmade so I knew what I was getting. The place was very clean and the person behind the counter came out to ask if we needed anything. All in all not too shabby. Will probably go back. read more

I wanted the fresh fries SO much. They were over-done and cold. The cheddar bacon bbq burger should have grilled onions, if you believe the menu. Got raw onions, which an onion is an onion, but still. What else on the menu cannot he trusted? We received our food quickly and the burgers were great otherwise. As someone else said, the burgers are greasy. Both of ours dripped a LOT of grease. Restaurant was clean, restroom was clean. Super cute little place. Might try again. read more

I had a less than favorable experience here. I fully acknowledge that I could have a different experience at a different time. There were only one or two parties ahead of me in line. I ordered the Cheddar Bacon BBQ burger and the personal loaded fries. It took 18 minutes for the food to come out and when it did it was cold. The burger was fine cold but the fries and cheese sauce were terrible cold and flavorless. Sure, they are new. If the food was freshly cooked and promptly delivered I don't think it would be cold though? This fast food wasn't so fast! read more

This new fast-casual chain, which started in Texas, immediately reminded me of Smashburger. Since it's still relatively new, there was a decent line to order, and the dining area was packed. Fortunately, the line moved quickly, and by the time we ordered, a table had opened up. The menu is displayed on monitors above the registers, but they also have a "secret" menu featuring specialty burgers, available on a laminated sheet at the counter. I decided to try a BBQ burger from the secret menu, along with a side of fries. While waiting, I noticed we had been overcharged for an extra order of fries. I got back in line to sort it out, and the staff quickly resolved the issue. Our food arrived at the table in about 20 minutes--not bad, considering how busy it was. The burger itself was well-seasoned and cooked nicely, though it was a bit dry and could have used more BBQ sauce and mayo. The fries were just okay--nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it was a good meal and a solid first experience. We'll definitely be back to try some of their other specialty burgers! read more

I guess the burger was ok did I say it was small, I mean like slider small. So they ran out of chips so they ask me what I wanted instead which was loaded fries. The fries could use some seasoning and they were not very good. Dunno this place just opened maybe it will get better. Service was good. First time here just opened. The burger was amazing and the fries were good but too much salt. The service was good and the people are friendly. Managers come and ask how everything is. It is a nice place to eat. I would go back because I really liked the burger right size for eating. Mushrooms Swiss loved it. Place was clean. Only one 2 restrooms so if crowed and have to go you will have to wait. But they are clean. I would recommend. The prices are a little on the high side. Had a second visit loved it so much the first time. Was a bit disappointed. The burger seemed smaller than the first time and the fries were very salty and over cooked. They made me more and now they had no salt and still over cooked. The manager comes around and asks how things are. I was excited to see this favorite from Plano, Texas open near me. Some things have changed in the 10 years since I've been to Mooyah, but the burgers are still messy and delicious! Place is well staffed and friendly employees come by frequently to check on you. They lose a star for the French fries. They were tough, dry and over salted. Very impressed first time eating here. The prices were very reasonable even with a combo meal. The staff was very nice. The restaurant was clean with clean restrooms. They make fresh buns daily in house, fresh beef patties not frozen adds to the deliciousness. The fries are cut from fresh potatoes and seasoned by the gods....no ketchup necessary to add flavor here. The Mushroom Swiss did not disappoint highly recommend. And to top it off the Oreos cookie milkshake was better than at those high priced ice cream shops. The straw was real plastic not paper and large enough to slide down if I didn't have shoes on. This restaurant was overall pretty good. It was yummy and had ok service. My only complaint is that the adult size and kid size burger was the exact same. It was confusing. I think the burger is good, and the last two times I've been here it's been consistent. The chips on the other hand have not been consistent. My first time here was about a month ago and I probably told five different people about how good the chips were. They were fresh, perfectly cooked not overly crispy and seasoned perfectly. They looked just like the menu picture. Today they looked like this...... see attached pic. Need I say more? It's a shame to see quality go downhill after only being open about a month. Wasn't sure how busy it would be so we ordered take out online. They were "cooking the food" when I arrived for pickup but food was cold when the bag was handed to me. Yes, I did try one of the hand cut fries before I left the restaurant. It was tasty, properly salted but cold. I think they would have been better hot. Disappointed to find when we got home that they messed up the order. The green chili dipping sauce was good, not too spicy. The food was good but not epic. The milk shake was tasty. Definitely better then some of the fast food choices in town, quality food, real burgers, and not crazy expensive but not sure I'd go back due to cold fries and inability to prepare food as ordered on the first visit. read more
