My daughter recently moved to Charlotte and her 9 year old car broke down on I-77. I live in Atlanta and had it towed to T & E. Frank and his team were absolutely amazing. They looked at it Monday morning, called us and said this was a major recall problem that would be covered by the manufacturer at no charge but the work had to be done at a dealership. Even though they didn't do the repair work, they were amazingly helpful, nice and quick. They even helped us arrange to get it towed to the dealership. Anytime she needs work done in future, she will definitely be taking her car to T & E. read more

I'm gonna go ahead and echo the sentiments of the previous reviewer and say they really do make you feel like family here. After changing jobs to a place far away from where I used to work I knew I'd have to find a local-ish place for the routine car work I'd end up needing since I drive so much. I originally called them for a tire replacement and they didn't have one in. Being that I needed it quickly as the sidewall had blown out I went to a different place with one in stock. They were nonetheless very friendly with me and asked that I keep hem in mind for the future. Well I kept them in mind and I've been twice now for oil changes and tire rotations. They also add air as needed to make sure your tires are inflated appropriately. At my last visit they checked my brakes out and said they might need replacing in about 5-7,000 miles. They weren't in a hurry just to sell me some brakes and take my money and were absolutely polite and humble when I said I'd be sure to give them a call when it was time for the oil change and brake overhaul. Both times I came in they seemed a bit worried that they wouldn't have the time to fit me in. But honestly every time I drop by they're dead empty and I almost worry that they don't have enough work to keep them open. They still have always been happy to work me in even when they're "busy". Of course for brakes I will have to call in advance. PS: They are practically run by a husband and wife duo team. The wife does all the book keeping and handles the phone calls and inquiries. She seems to really have her head about her with the business. The husband does the heavy lifting along with help from at least one other guy. He really seems to know his stuff and speaks with authority about car maintenance. If you want a good, honest explanation about the problems you're having the two of them are an unbeatable pair. With 40 years in the business why would anyone be surprised? read more

I had an awful experience at this place. First of all, I had an appointment at 9:30 AM to get my tire plugged. It took until 10:45 AM to get this done. Then the tire was flat the next morning. When I called to get my money back, I was given a sermon about how this was a family company, and I didn't get to ask for my money back. When I demanded it, he said I could get it that afternoon. I didn't even bother to go back over there, I had such a bad taste in my mouth. He was very rude and condescending. I do not recommend this place. read more

I have only taken my car here twice but both times the experience was a good one. My husband first took one of our cars to get an oil change and he said everyone was friendly and they got the job done pretty quickly. The second time we took our newly purchased car and they looked over it for $75 cheaper than another place that I had called. I have called their shop a few times and each time I received professional and friendly service. I plan on making them my go-to car shop and am sure that all of my future experiences will be great every time! I would highly recommend them! read more
