they told me they had no problem programming keys for my truck. I brought them the new key fobs and was told it would be $165 to program both. It took them two hours and 20 minutes to program two keys when they told me it would be 30 minutes when everything was done they tried to charge me $330. I was quoted by multiple other companies that would've came to my house to do it for less I would not recommend using these guys. read more

Key duplication is lightning fast. Just watch out for the material quality. It only takes about a minute to duplicate a key--whether it's a car key (w/o any special electronics) or a house key. The new car key and two house keys all work great. The car key even came with the special black plastic covering. All three keys only cost $10 ($6 for the basic car key, $4 for two house keys). If you need to create a basic car key from scratch though, expect to fork out at least $150. There's a slight discoloration/rust on one of the keys. In retrospect, he should've offered to replace it--but it's just a key, so I won't complain too much. Quick and easy. read more

I locked myself out of my house today. I looked for locksmiths on Yelp and found Hi-Tech Lock &Key. I spoke with Abraham. He was very professional and patient, and reasonable. It was a difficult lock to open. Abraham used many different strategies while attempting to unlock this door. After checking all of the other options, he decided he needed to drill through the lock. He was careful to choose the option that opened the door without damage. Afterwards, Abraham instructed me how to get locks so I could use the same key for all of them. I called and was going to go but the person on the phone was a complete douche bag. He was very aggressive. I asked a question about a price and his response was different prices for different keys. I asked him on average for a certain key with a brand and he was aggressive with his answer saying 2-20. I'm sorry but I can't buy something from someone that treats customers like if he wanted them to not come in. Aggression doesn't bring customers in. If I could I would give it a .1 star read more

The owner/operator of this one man shop is a crook, and let me tell you why. I called him and asked him what it would cost to cut two blanks keys (which I bought online) to match my existing car key. He told me $10/key. I went there and he cut the keys, letting me know after doing so that the keys require programming and he would do it for me (with no mention of additional cost). He then took the two new keys from me, asked me how much I paid for them, and proceeded to tell me they were fakes, and that I needed to purchase new blank keys from him. In an attempt to prove his point, he ushered me into his kiosk to show me the programming machine, which read "no transponder detected". I asked him to try it again with the other new key, just to make sure they weren't working. He put the other key in, and it programmed successfully. He then paused for a moment and said, that's going to cost you $20, and the next one is $20 also. I was confused at first, and then realized he pushed the wrong button while I was watching him, which caused the key to program, rather than flash the error message. He then proceeded to tell me the machine ran on tokens with cost money, and he needed the $20 to cover the cost of the tokens, this was beyond bull$hit. I told him I didn't agree to that, and that wasn't part of the original agreement, but that I would pay him $10 per key for the programming in an attempt to meet him halfway, and since he did it for very little money initially. He then refused and told me to get the f*ck out of here. He was rude, a swindler, and shady to to business with, beware doing business with him. read more

I swung by here expecting to hang out for at least 10 minutes to get two keys made, but it only took 3 minutes!! The two gentleman there were very friendly and worked efficiently together. One took my key to start cutting my copies while the other took my $5 to pay for the service. By the time my change was in my hand, the other gentleman was handing me my keys.
