I lost my keys at work! I spent an hour retracing my steps. No keys. Anywhere. I debated on calling my car insurance for a tow home...but first, I called mobile locksmiths to see how fast they could get here, and how much it would cost. The first one I called wasn't available. The second one told me 2 hours eta. El Cheapo said they could be on the way, and it would be around $150, and if paid in cash, I would receive a discount. I requested service, and they came earlier than expected. He confirmed the price quotes for two new key fobs. $350 for two, which was way more reasonable than the dealer price for one.
