Hibachi Bros is definitely one of my go-to spots, and the food is always amazing. I usually order the chicken and salmon, and it never disappoints. There is something about their garlic butter that feels simply magical. I do not know what they do to it, but it is some of the best I have ever had. Everything is always cooked perfectly and seasoned just right, and you can taste the quality in every bite. The only downside is that the wait is usually longer than they estimate. They might say 15 to 20 minutes, but it often ends up closer to 30 to 40 minutes. That being said, the wait makes sense because they are always busy, and honestly the food is well worth it. The staff is always so friendly, the service is great, and the whole setup adds to the experience. The food park where they are located has a cool, relaxed vibe, and grabbing food from their truck always feels like part of the fun. For those that may not know this is a food truck, parked in a lot with other trucks. They've really upgraded the area with a large project screen and music where you can sit and eat at. Now the food it's definitely on par with any sit down hibachi restaurant I've been to. I've had just about a mix of all their combinations. The shrimp, chicken, New York strip, filet migeon, lobster, salmon just about all of it. I like it all. The seafoods cooked to perfection. The steaks I'd say are cooked right 70% of the time. So just make sure you reiterate your preference. It's is a bit pricey but it is hibachi quality. Veggies and all, and I believe you can sub rice for noodles. Food was decent at best if you've been to real hibachi restaurants in Houston like shogun, Benihana's, toros, you'll know this hibachi truck isn't the "authentic" taste that you waited for and paid a pretty penny for. Hibachi Bros I need to go to church this morning and thank the Lord for y'all because everytime I come to houston, I have to come and everytime I come, the food is consistently delicious lol. It's mouth watering from the smell and the flavors are going to pop every. time. Everytime I've come they've been super nice in the window. They take my complicated order and are patient with me and I get this amazing meal out of it everytime. I bring a friend and they are always happy with their food. Now for the bad, unfortunately. I had the shrimp and lobster combo. For $37 or total $70, I hoped for a little bit more. The lobster was shameful to be honest. I can't even rate the food because I just spent the last 30 minutes cleaning it off my garage floor. We waited 30 minutes for our order and the moment we got home, the bottom of the paper bag fell out. Food and sauce was all over my garage. I immediately called Hibachi Bros to explain what happened. I was told by the gentleman he would call me back. 25 min later I received a call asking if I was on my way back up. He never told me to head back to the food truck park so the question didn't make any sense. I explained to him that I didn't live near the park and it was almost midnight. At this point, I am annoyed with the cleanup and the line of questions. I ask for a refund and am told he would have to call me back. Shortly after, he calls me back and tells me his manager has refused a refund. I'm completely flabbergasted. I just swept $90 of food up and I can't get a refund?! I was told I can receive a credit. However, after the lack of customer service and compassion, a credit is not going to remedy this situation. I try my best to support local Black businesses. However, horrible customer service will never get my support. The gentleman even had the audacity to ask for a good review. You've got to be kidding me...
