Overall, nice little food stop in "the middle of nowhere" if you're looking for a bite. We ended up just sightseeing some of the other mom and pop shops around Dolan Springs before heading back home!

We were seated in a booth, and when my husband went for his first plate, he found very little to choose from. When I went to look, many of the stations were empty with very few food options available. We waited several minutes for our drinks, my husband eventually had to ask for them. When they arrived, they were flat. We thought maybe we had arrived during a food change, so we checked again, but there still wasn't much available. On top of that, I noticed significant water damage directly above our table, a very dirty thermostat on the wall beside us, and the booth had multiple cracks and holes that were actually pinching the backs of our legs. We barely ate and ultimately decided to leave. We really wanted to enjoy our visit, but unfortunately the food selection, cleanliness, and condition of the seating made for a very disappointing experience.

I decided to give this place a try and I'm really glad I did. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The space felt clean and comfortable, which made the whole experience even better. I went for the lunch special and it was totally worth it it came with soup and an egg roll, and the portion size was more than enough. I definitely left satisfied. I also noticed they now have a sushi bar set up in a separate area, and it looks really inviting. I'll be checking that out on my next visit. read more

When someone comes into here, they have to look at the menu upfront and order at the counter, find a seat of their choice and fill their drink and then it goes from there. Pretty simple. Floyd's seems to be a Stubborn soda fan, which I approve of. The man at the counter actually recommended the breadsticks, and now I realize that the pizza isn't enough to fill me or most anybody. It's mostly an at-the-counter style service, except they bring the food to you. Inside was great. The entrance is a little tight, but there's two sides of the restaurant and I sat down in the right side from the door, so I can't say about the left side. One of my favorite things inside was the drink machine had those levers on it, it just felt much better to pull that for drinks than pushing a button. Overall, Floyd's is a great place to eat for everyone. The food is good, the service is great, and inside is comfy and wooden.
