Most disgusting excuse for chinese food ever. Food was cold, actually cold to the touch. Beef and broccoli, Chicken and broccoli had just boiled broccoli tossed in with the meat with ZERO flavor and congealed sauces. 3 of their buffet stations didn't even have food being served. The food was as if it was refrigerated the night before after closing and returned to the table when opening the next morning. The Lo Mein noodles were a solid block of sticky cold noodles. Cheese sticks snapped and were completely cold in the middle. Hot and sour (keyword SOUR) soup was sweet vinegar water. We finished nothing. I really should have read the reviews before stopping in at this place for lunch. It is horrendous. Not only was half the food on the buffet cold, but the sushi was legitimately rotten. Nothing tasted right, all the chicken had a weird vinegary taste to it. Do yourself a favor and do not stop here! It's also overpriced, go figure. read more

Stoped in the lunch at midday, maybe ten people there. Food wasn't good, wasn't bad, they only had three tables of warm food and three empty tables for warm food. Cold buffet food. I'm not one for buffets, I'll admit. Normally buffets are swamped with mediocre foods. The one plus to a buffet, for me, is the ability to eat a huge variety. I think the variety offered at Hibachi buffet is better than average for the price. The problem is the temperature of the food. Keeping food cold or at room temperature for long periods of time exponentially raises your risk of food-born illness. Most of the items I tried were room temperature or cold. I tried 20 different things and very few of them were warm. None of them were hot. I think this is due to a fundamental misunderstanding of how these steam buffets work. These buffets are not designed to warm or heat foods up. They are designed to MAINTAIN temperature, not raise it. If you put the food into the buffet cold it will stay that way. A pepsi product establishment. Food was hot.... poor seafood selection, I was led to believe there was snow crab on the buffet based on pictures however not the case. Its 9.99 a pound for snow crab eat in only. They did have a few very fishy fish dishes, the hibachi was good. A bit of cross contamination but it all gets cooked. crawfish and minila clams were the saving grace here as I love them both and ate about 10 pounds. Over all not bad... would go back. read more

I never realized that I lived so close to this gem! I pass this hibachi buffet alllll the time but never gave it any second thought to eat here. My friend suggested this place on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated pretty quickly and drinks were ordered. The place was pretty packed but I never seen an empty tray on the buffet. They had a large selection of hibachi & Chinese food. There was also sushi and sauces available. I was pretty impressed with the different selection available. I didn't realize that they had crab legs available until it was time to go. So I went during lunch time which should be one of the busier times during the day. Deciding to try this restaurant for the first time during lunch because all the food should be fresh early in the day. All the food was cold, low in stock, poor taste. This place is hit or miss, but my last visit was pretty solid! The sushi lineup was great considering I went for lunch, not dinner, and pretty much every pan was well-monitored (either replaced or ruffled up to keep it from getting nasty). The crowd wasn't bad - again, probably because I was there for lunch - and the wait staff was actually friendly and attentive, which is more than can be said for most Asian buffets. Lets talk about the food though... It was good! Great diversity of options, something t satisfy every craving, and not one in the 15ish items I tried disappointed because it looked better than it tasted. Honorable mention goes to the "Italian chicken breast" (yeah I'm not sure either, like a taco-spiced cream sauce on it), the banana pudding, and the quesadillas. My only complaint is that I love dim sum and they didn't have any, but in all honesty dim sum wouldve been extra credit. The buffet food is no good. Unfortunately they have a lovely policy of "$7/lb of food not eaten" so it's eat the crap or pay extra for it. The service is fine. The hibachi is good. I asked for all the sauces on my hibachi, he gave me soy sause and handed me my plate. So could be better. read more

Decent selection but the service is terrible. I understand its a buffet so I dont expect to be waited on like a normal table service restaurant but i do expect staff to be polite! We were seated and without saying a word the waitress comes by and sets the silverware and straws on the table and walks away. Few min later she slams our waters down on the table and leaves. She didn't say word to us the entire time. The normal buffet selection was decent but tasted bad. The hibachi selection was good and tasted great, the cook was friendly and fun to watch. I wouldnt get the chicken from the hibachi bar it looked slimy and gross but everything else looked fine. I give them 2 stars for the hibachi thats it. Not worth the $10. I love this place! My family comes here every couple of months for get-togethers. The waitstaff are very friendly and are always on time with drink refills and making sure you have everything you need, but they don't hover like the waitstaff from other restaurants. There's always a wide array of food and the kitchen staff are always busy making sure they are serving the freshest food they possibly can. read more

Wow! I made a huge mistake eating at Hibachi Buffet. I should have turned around and walked out the moment I sat down at a booth. The place is disgusting and filthy. My shoes were sticky from walking on the floor. Much less, many of the items on the buffet simply were not to be eaten - especially the shrimp. Much of the food wasn't even Asian or Chinese. Instead, you're offered poor-quality American food: burgers, pork chops, mac and cheese. The sushi was warm; I only ate one piece and nearly threw it up. As to the wait staff - there wasn't one. I never got a refill, even though staff members walked by my table multiple times. I even had to ask someone to get me my check. All in all, it's one of the worst places in Burlington to eat. Just nasty! All the fried food on the bar was hard as a brick like it had been sitting out for days. One of the soup containers was dried up and flaking off like it had sit on the steam table all day like that. The salmon was soaking in some type of red water and the sushi bar looked scary! The wait staff didn't refill my drink or offer and the bathrooms smelled clean only because they had just dumped clorox on the floors and swirled it around.
