    i wouldn't even give this shitty place a star. The food stinks, the waiters are rude, snatching papers and shit from our table, there was dirt in our drink, and food was cold burnt and bland and the ceiling had stains on it

    Cold buffet food. I'm not one for buffets, I'll admit. Normally buffets are swamped with mediocre foods. The one plus to a buffet, for me, is the ability to eat a huge variety. I think the variety offered at Hibachi buffet is better than average for the price. The problem is the temperature of the food. Keeping food cold or at room temperature for long periods of time exponentially raises your risk of food-born illness. Most of the items I tried were room temperature or cold. I tried 20 different things and very few of them were warm. None of them were hot. I think this is due to a fundamental misunderstanding of how these steam buffets work. These buffets are not designed to warm or heat foods up. They are designed to MAINTAIN temperature, not raise it. If you put the food into the buffet cold it will stay that way. The service was pleasant. The restaurant was reasonably clean and the koi pond was cool.

    I never realized that I lived so close to this gem! I pass this hibachi buffet alllll the time but never gave it any second thought to eat here. My friend suggested this place on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated pretty quickly and drinks were ordered. The place was pretty packed but I never seen an empty tray on the buffet. They had a large selection of hibachi & Chinese food. There was also sushi and sauces available. I was pretty impressed with the different selection available. I didn't realize that they had crab legs available until it was time to go. I will definitely recommend this buffet and will be returning!

    Food was cold and hard. They were rude and over priced. Fried shrimp was bad. Do not recommend. Don't waste your time and money.

This time I decided to keep things a little more Atkins/keto friendly and ordered a grilled chicken salad and a cup of chili. The total came to just over $26, with the salad alone costing almost $17. I understand prices have gone up everywhere. I can accept that. What I can't accept is paying premium prices while the overall experience falls short. The first issue started before I even got inside. The restaurant was packed, and customers were parked all along the curb directly in front of the designated to go pickup area. That completely blocked access. It took me nearly ten minutes of circling the parking lot, backing up near the dumpster, moving again, and eventually squeezing my truck into a parking space (in the "to-go" pick up area where I'm supposed to be anyway) just to pick up my order. When you're that busy, parking becomes part of the customer experience. At some point management needs to step in and help keep traffic moving instead of allowing the pickup area to become unusable (don't tell me I'm wrong because I'll tell you what not only did. I have to navigate that situation due to cars being along the curb in front of the to go area, but two other vehicles that were parked in the to go spaces had nobody in them and I was there for 10 minutes waiting for my food so those people were inside eating in the restaurant I presume-given that I observed their empty vehicles for a total of 20 minutes). To be fair, the employee who brought my order out was excellent. She greeted me with a smile, was friendly, professional, and was easily the brightest part of the entire experience. Then I got home and opened the salad. For $17, this was honestly disappointing. The chicken, bacon, and toppings had simply been simply tossed in there, while the rest was mostly plain, sad looking lettuce. It looked rushed and careless, especially considering the price. The first of several photos are exactly how the salad looked the moment I opened the container on my kitchen counter. I hadn't touched it or moved anything around. The last photo, however, my awesome lady was able to turn that same salad into something amazing in just a couple of minutes. SHE chopped up some pepperoni that we already had in the refrigerator, diced a little Colby Jack cheese, added tomatoes, mixed everything together, and finished it with ranch dressing and a level 10 appearance on the plate. She didn't have to cook anything. She simply took the time to prepare it the way a $17 salad probably should have looked when it left the restaurant. The chili was good, and I'll absolutely give credit where it's due. Drake's still has menu items I enjoy, and I've had plenty of good meals there over the years. But when you're charging premium prices, customers deserve the same level of quality whether the restaurant is half full or packed to the walls. Being busy explains delays. It doesn't excuse lowering the standard. I genuinely hope Drake's takes this as constructive feedback because I know they can do better. I've seen them do better!

I'm sensitive to spice at the moment so eating my food was a bit of a marathon....but in a good way! Think runny nose & sweating hot with tons of delicious flavor. To start, we served wonton strips with a white yum yum type sauce which was a nice surprise. For our app we had the crab puffs (crab ragoons) which of course were not spicy, perfectly crispy and had the right amount of filling. I also ordered a dragon roll which came out after my main entree since the sushi bar was backed up. This actually worked out perfect because the cream cheese in the roll was a great way to calm the spice in my main entree. The mango and crab on the roll were very fresh, and the size was also pretty hefty for being an 8 piece roll. I could have easily made this into a lighter full meal. For my main entree I got the spicy basil with chicken (red pepper sign alert!!!), brown rice and miso soup. The miso soup was good as expected, the brown rice was cooked to perfection and served in a side bowl, and the main entree was plentiful with perfectly cooked veggies & chicken! This dish brought the heat but in a very good way!!! I couldn't get enough of that spicy basil flavor!!!! I only ate half the dish so looking forward to a delicious lunch today! There was an employee there chit chatting with a customer while we waited. She then walked away and said someone would be with us shortly. Rounding it up to 4 only because it was so clean and Chelsea's attendance
