Ordered online this time my fiancé and I both got the steak and shrimp hibachi. For my fiancé I put a note for no veggies and extra white rice. And they totally listened to my note which was super awesome! Note: I would recommend the white rice with the hibachi. I tried the fried rice but the white rice was way better. The steak and shrimp were great and tasty. Next time I'll ask for extra sauce I ordered some sushi too. I just wanted to try the mango spicy shrimp roll and shrimp tempura roll. I'll try other sushi next time but ordering two rolls for a dinner I think is too small. I ordered the shrimp dumplings which were good. Im very conflicted on how to rate this place. I ordered the lunch special hibachi chicken and rice and a sushi roll, and as my chicken and rice was very good my sushi roll was most definitely made with spoiled fish. As soon as I ate my first bite I looked at My partner and said I'm going to get sick. The hibachi was served on a Styrofoam plate with plastic utensils. Whenever there is new Hibachi restaurant open up, I always make a point to try it. Unfortunately, Hibachi Express opened during the Pandemic, we've delayed to sample this place. Finally, the stars are lining up. We stop by to check out the Hibachi Express here for dinner. Since this is Hibachi Express, obviously, this is Hibachi minus the show at the grill. There are many tables available for dine in with proper spacing. You place the order at the counter and you pick up the order on a tray. We ordered Hibachi Shrimps and Hibachi Steak and Salmon. Both orders were served with a plain fried rice and a green salad with ginger sauce. The vegetables are fresh and cooked well with Teriyaki sauce. The portion is huge! Wife love her Hibachi Shrimps but my steak was on the well-done side. However, the salmon filet was perfectly grilled. Poke Bowls and Katsu are available in addition to Hibachi and Sushi. The food is good and we returned for lunch. Our Yakisoba Shrimp was tasty along with the Sushi, the Mexican Roll and Salmon roll. They only have soft drinks but beers are not available yet! The food used to be a lot better but it's still not too bad, not really much different than takeout Chinese. My issue is I paid over $5 for 2 egg rolls that were the size of a Vienna sausage, thought they gave me spring rolls but when I called them the owner said there smaller because there better than everyone else's. What to say about Hibachi Express... For one, the best part about it is the steak. It's tender, juicy and the sauce over it is excellent. The steak is why this has 3 stars. The rice was boarder lune cooked, some bits still crunchy. Was It stir fried? I couldn't tell. The steak definitely was though and a quick mixing of both the protein and the rice was what made the dish. The veggies were ok and I had 1 total mushroom in the whole plate. Was it worth the $37 we paid? Ehh. Probably not. The sushi was nothing to write home about either. I consider it an equal to Publix sushi. As my first opinion, I wouldn't come here for the food as there is a bahm mi place here that's way better than this. But if you want a quick meal that is definitely enough to take home with you, then by all means come here. But for $37 there is a lot better food out there than this place. read more

It's just about what you expect: Pretty quick and reasonably priced hibachi. Pleasant surprise that you could eat in. The yakisoba noodles had good flavor, more than you'd expect. The hibachi chicken surpassed expectations and portions were generous given the price. I didn't love the spicy tuna roll but it was also reasonably priced. It just didn't kick as much as I thought a spicy tuna roll would and usually does. Overall, if you're looking for good value and decent hibachi quick, look no further! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I went today (I get it, nobody likes to work on NYE). But if they remain open today, at least, try to just have a good service. The cashier was super rude and kept rushing me to order, which is why I was clear by saying I wasn't ready to order yet. I just wanted to check the menu first, I was not even blocking the line. So much attitude from the cashier along with the other Asian looking guys. I used to get food from here but not any more! On top of this, my order was wrong, so I asked them to fix it. Had a wonderful takeout lunch the other day. Was tired of the same sushi spots and found this place, which offers a two roll special for only $9!! I ordered the spicy tuna roll, sweet potato roll, Mexican roll (shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber with eel sauce on top), and a Kani salad. The portions were large and the rolls were cut into smaller bite-sized pieces which I appreciate. The quality of the fish was above average compared to the competition. Good place for large portions! We got some sushi rolls and hibachi. The hibachi was a lot of food and good! We ate the full dinner, had left overs for the next day and then some! The sushi wasn't great (which is what we were looking for) but it was okay. Tbh I rather the Publix sushi but this is a good alternate for options. read more

I want to start this off by saying I wish I had listened to the previous reviews. We had ordered online and found that it was very easy and the food was ready fairly fast. We ordered the chicken and steak hibachi, chicken fried rice, edamame, and gyoza. The edamame had a yellow discoloration to them and tasted like they've been sitting in plastic all day but the gyoza was pretty good. Their chicken fried rice is literally white rice with panda express styled chicken thrown on top. The chicken was very rubbery and dry. Their steak was well done and very chewy with no flavor at all. At the end of the day, there are far better places that are relatively close and so much better. Don't waste your time. read more

The vibe in there is cool and nice! However Food was tasteless and no flavor at all, sushi was also subpar, lit waste 50 bucks

A different kind of place, I really enjoy that It was fast, easy for a first time to understand menu and food was tasty !
