I was pleasantly surprised that Origami was quite a good Korean restaurant in Fort Myers. I had heard from so many friends that Fort Myers was really lacking quality Asian food. But having coming here, I'm glad that this place is representing well and holding down the fort. The ambiance of the restaurant is ok. I personally think a remodel could be used in a few places. But the service overall was good. Very friendly waitress that made sure our drinks were always filled. I got the Kimchi Jjigae and it was quite good. Good sized chunks of tender meat, lots of vegetables, and a deep and spicy broth. Overall, a good place to go to for Korean food in Fort Myers :)

Did not know they changed owners so my gift card was not accepted. In case anyone also had a gift card just be aware it may not be accepted. Service was a bit slow at early dining time. I did enjoy the flavors of the food. Beef Bulgolgi was large portion. Galbi also delicious. The Ban Chan sides were a little disappointing though, we thought we could have more options with our main entree meal but you can only choose 1 side. Salad, or soup, or Ban Chan. We were not used to that, compared to other places. Kimchi or the sides is usually included with your meal as a pairing for your entree. The sushi roll we got, Louisiana roll, was unique and tasted good.

This was a spontaneous date night out. We couldn't have been happier with our server Shephanie. She greeted us quickly and took our order with a smile on her face. We ordered She is on Fire & Galbi appetizer to start with. My husband ordered the Korean BBQ Fried Rice. I ordered the Yellowtail & Salmon Roe Sashimi, Black Russian & Florida Roll. The rolls were so fresh and such amazing artwork. We will be back for another round for sure!

This restaurant in Ft Myers with sushi and bento box. I was here for lunch on assignment to Ft. Myers. I got the lunch special of the day. I have the bento box with salmon teriyaki. The combo come with two nigiri, half California roll, rice, slice of Orange, and miso soup. I would said slice of Orange is cheap for the box. Overall the salmon is well cook and tasty. Piece of salmon is small but no complaints. Service is good but a bit slow for lunch. Usually lunch crowds don't have a lot of time. The response time need a bit faster.

Place was nice. The food was absolutely delicious, and the people were very friendly. I think I might have been the only customer there, but that's probably because it was a Monday afternoon. I would go back.

Food is expensive here. We ordered 5 things, and were happy with just the Lousiana toll. The Florida roll was very bland. Age-dashi tofu was not what we expected. It was dry on the inside. Miso soup portion was tiny, and is usually complimentary at other places. House salad portion is also tiny. Ginger dressing almost tastes like vinegar and ginger. Lousiana roll was tasty, but the fried garlic topping was burnt and bitter. Our order was $58, and did not feed two people.

2 regular sushi rolls 25 dollars. The calamari was 12 dollars, but just a very small portion and not fresh calamari covered by flour. I get the udon combo, they said come with the soup and salad, I didn't get it at all. If I can give zero, I will put zero start.

My daughter, husband, and I went to eat dinner at Origami for my daughter's 18th birthday. I loved their large, beautiful fountain and lights outside their front entrance. Very good for pictures! When we went inside, we were greeted by friendly staff, who took us to our table. For appetizers, we ordered: the Spicy Crab Spring Roll and the Gyoza (steamed potstickers). I ordered: clear soup, ginger house salad, and Naruto Roll (no rice). My husband ordered the udon bowl and my daughter ordered a very tasty sushi roll also (we just don't remember the name). We all really liked their interior decor also as it was all very pretty. Service was great! Reasonably priced! All of our food was delicious and the presentation of our food was equally amazing! Great sushi restaurant and Korean BBQ!! Overall, great experience!! Definitely recommend!!

    The tastiest thing ever.

I couldn't believe how many people make sushi along with other dishes. Our sweet server Gabby, gave us lunch menus. I had green tea served in a little pot with extra tea bags and sugar. We noticed that the menu had changed a bit. Gabby told us that they added a few things from the dinner menu. So we started ordering. Steamed chicken dumplings, chicken katsu. Shrimp tempura, marinated snapper. Hibachi shrimp etc. Also shrimp with vegetable rice, Shrimp tempura roll, dynamite roll and David's favorite " the Bubba. Gump Roll",We ended with sharing fried cheesecake and that was something so delicious! Gabby helped us with our selections and we really enjoyed our lunch. The only negative thing I can think of is the loud music mixed with a lot of people talking lol! The portions might have been a little smaller but this gave us an opportunity to try different things. It was a great experience!

Where to eat special on a gorgeous Saturday? GINZA !!…read more So many nice options on the weekend $24.99 pp. On a newer menu. The Bubba Gump (8pc) is my new excellent. Additionally my lunch today had Yellowtail (raw)., Dynamite roll, shrimp roll, chicken Katsu, red snapper Teriyaki, Shrimp-veggie fried rice, shrimp tempura- fried (YUMMY) cheesecake- WHAT a FEAST! Small portions but mostly seafood and full but not high carbs. Need to have lunch here with my Yelp friends. More taste options to share. Our server, Gabby, did an excellent job keeping our hands and mouth busy. Primary negative- too noisy with music, cleanup crew constantly passing, the hubbub activity. The experience is always a taste treat.
