My family and I came here for Christmas Eve dinner and I was blown away by the service. Sometimes holidays can slow things down, but that wasn't the case here. Our waitress was totally on top of it. We did have a reservation for hibachi which helped. They also have a bar you can grab a drink at if you have to wait for your table. They have a variety of wine, beer, and cocktails to complement your meal. My family loves hibachi and Kumo is quickly becoming a new favorite. Their sushi rolls are so good! I recommend ordering a spicy tuna roll to start your meal. For hibachi, the steak was yummy. I didn't love my hibachi shrimp, but I was drooling at my brother's scallops. I'll need to try those next. The ambiance and lighting is nice for a dinner out. Even though it was busy, I didn't feel like we were on top of other diners. They share parking with other businesses so I could see that potentially being a problem, although we were able to easily find a spot.

The food was mediocre. I had the chicken fried rice. It was literally just oily rice covered in soy sauce and chicken pieces. My husband had the teriyaki steak. It was bland and came out like fajitas. We had to ask for an extra plate so he could eat it. The service was very slow and the two entrees came out 10 min apart. The place itself looks like it is a hold over from the 80s. I would skip it.

Good food and entertainment! Enjoyable atmosphere and a nice place to celebrate an occasion with the family. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

As always, absolutely delicious! I wanted to leave another five star review because it's always incredible! Been a customer for over 13+ years. Our waiter has been the same the last few time and he's amazing! During the weekends is very busy (which is great!) so it's a tad bit louder in there but the weekdays are still busy but less loud which is nice! The sushi is always super tasty, we love trying their special rolls on the board by the sushi bar. The tuna Tataki is the perfect sushi appetizer too!

We love KUMO!! We usually go for special occasions as well because you can have a larger group. They put on a fantastic show for you while cooking the food right in front of you. It's very entertaining! The food is amazing. We usually get the steak and lobster hibachi. It comes with soup, ginger salad and a shrimp appetizer. We have had their sushi as well and it is very fresh and tasty. The wait staff is great, entertaining, and fast. The restaurant is clean and the decor is fancy!! ENJOY!

My family and I went here for my birthday and it was such a great experience! We made reservations which made the process so smooth and easy. We sat at the hibachi table and my little brother got to go over to the sushi bar and watch his rainbow roll get made in front of him. We had a variety of items ordered at our table (chicken, steak, shrimp, scallops, lobster) and they were all cooked so well. We even had someone who had an egg sensitivity and so they brought him out a separate white rice so there was no contact with egg. The lighting is dim which I personally like. Our waitress was so sweet and quick, then we had a great hibachi chef who did all his cool tricks. They even brought me free birthday ice cream and sang to me!

Not the best experience. 8 of us went for a special occasion with reservations at 5pm. Upon entry it smelled very strong of Natural Gas which was a bit nauseating. The first thing we did was notify the waitress & chef that one person in our party (whom is also blind) has a serious allergy to shellfish. The soup came first and was a tasty broth, however the small bowl was seriously chipped with sharp edges along the rim. (See picture) Next came the salad... truly terrible with only the white stalky part of the lettuce, no green. The fried rice which was fun to watch the preparation but the rice was dry and tasteless. ( thank goodness for soy sauce) If you get the beef be sure to make it the fillet, as the sirloin never breaks down while chewing and will have to be swallowed in one piece according to my husband. I ordered the scallops which were very good. The shrimp was dry and overcooked. The Chef used the same utensils for the beef, chicken and seafood turning the raw chicken then the medium rare beef (can you say cross contamination?). Also they put 2 shrimp on everyone's plate, including the blind person whom we informed him was allergic to shellfish of any kind. We all felt rushed as the waitress came out right away with "to go" containers for all of us. (Here's your hat, what's your hurry?) 18% gratuity added automatically to your total so watch what you leave. We usually give places a second chance but there are so many places to go and new places to try, so I doubt if we will ever be back.

Kumo is great! Especially when you have the Groupon! The chef was fun and interactive and everything was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back!

For our main course I got the 12oz Ny Strip med well with a Lobster Tail on top and the wife got the 6oz Filet Mignon med well with a Lobster Tail on top. For our sides we got the Baked Potato and Honey Buttered Baby Carrots. Now for the review starting with the Bread, it was warm, fresh and very good. The Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail was spectacular in size and served chilled. Our Lobster was done perfect and served with hot butter. The Steaks were done to perfection very good and tasty. The Baked Potato was served with Sour Cream Butter on the side. The Carrots were al dente and so tasty. All our food was hot and so flavorful. Jay, our server was right on point with service. This entire night was perfect thanks to Prime 239. I have reviewed over 187 places in the southwest Florida area, and this makes the top 5. If I could give this place 6 stars I would but I must give it a 5 plus. I can't wait to go back. + Gulf Coast Terry

We started with the mozzarella and prosciutto appetizer with tomatoes. It was an interesting dish and definitely well executed, though I expected a few more tomatoes on the plate. The prosciutto seemed lightly pan-seared, which gave it a crispy texture that I really enjoyed, and the bread was wonderfully crisp as well. Overall, a solid starter. The main event for me was the Kona-crusted bone-in New York strip, cooked medium. I've had this dish at other Capital Grille locations, and it continues to be one of my favorites. The Kona coffee crust paired with the sauce is such a great flavor combination. The steak itself was a very good cut of meat, tender and not tough at all. I personally would have liked a little more sauce, but I can also understand that the coffee marinade and crust are meant to be the star. For dessert, I had the chocolate espresso cake, and it was excellent. It struck a great balance: rich and decadent without being overly sweet. The service was also excellent. I feel bad that I can't remember our server's name, but he mentioned he was fairly new, around seven months in, and he did a wonderful job. Friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. We even left him a taste of our bottle of wine to help him end his shift on a good note. Attentive, friendly, on top of everything exactly what you want when you're settling in for a steak dinner. No flagging anyone down, no waiting forever for refills. Just good old-fashioned hospitality done right. Now, the food. My go-to here is the steak and shrimp with a loaded baked potato and Caesar salad, and today they absolutely nailed it. Steak came out a perfect medium juicy, flavorful, cooked exactly how I asked. I'll be honest, sometimes they miss the mark on the temp, but here's the thing: they always make it right if it's wrong. That kind of accountability matters. And today? No corrections needed. Just a beautiful piece of meat. Threw back an ice-cold beer to wash it all down, and life was good. But here's where Texas Roadhouse really shines: the value. Two steak entrees, drinks, and tip all under a hundred bucks. Try pulling that off at your fancy steakhouse. You can't. This place delivers quality without emptying your wallet, and in today's world, that's worth celebrating. The Verdict: Texas Roadhouse continues to earn its spot in the rotation.
