Family food adventure for sushi, hibachi or yakisoba. We enjoy it all everytime!!! We have been going here for about a year and I thought I wrote a review, but going through my past reviews I realized I had not, so here you go!!! Our ordering is always the same things as why change what you love to eat from a place. Their Fantasy island and rock shrimp are awesome starters!!! For our entrees: MOM gets the sushi, has had many types and they are always fresh and yummy! Eldest child gets the chicken yakisoba Middle boy gets the steak hibachi The little one gets sushi and then always shares off of everyone else's depending on what she is in the mood for, lol Dad get's the steak yakisoba, best one anywhere around!!! for the 5 of us with drink's, app's & entrees it's about $80. and well worth it everyone leaves happy and full!!! I will say they have been having a challenge with getting employees and while the service is a little affected by this the food quality & taste do not!!! Want great yum yum sauce with your hibachi they have it!!! If you like any of the above you have to try this place out, beat's Auburndale hibachi by the miles their away from each other and then some!!! Hope you enjoy this place as much as well do!!! Health warning: There is a light outside that continuously flashes. If you suffer from anything where a flashing light can cause you a health scare you should wear sunglasses until you are inside. Hope they fix this light soon!!!

Delicious food. We came in on weekend and the employees (might be the owners) were nice and friendly. Delicious seaweed salad, miso soups and all the rolls we had. We also ordered kids meal - fries and nuggets (surprised they had them!) And the nuggets were great. Next day, Monday we came in again and orders some take outs but this time there were other employees. They were not that friendly and even looked like they are rolling eyes when we asked for things. They forgot to add ketchup, any utensils and the soy sauce! We were on the way driving and missing spoon for the soup and no soy sauce for pretty dry Philadelphia roll was disappointing. The ketchup we came to get after picking up the order was all bubbly and tasted sour. Actually also the tofu tasted very sour, like marinated or hot bad. Not sure. Therefore taking off 1 star.

We come from a place with sushi on every corner so it was a surprise to not have more selection in the area. We're glad there wasn't though because Hibachi Express was amazing! Every roll we enjoyed had its own flavor and the seafood was fresh or freshly fried! Service was not the friendliest and just a little slow but the sushi chef was young, perhaps new? We didn't get our fried rice and dumplings until we were all done and reminded them but that worked out okay, we had it for leftovers the next day! A must try is the Fantasy Island, crazy good!

My family and I were staying at the Legoland, Pirate hotel property for a few days on a family vacation. We didn't have reservations for dinner at their on-site location, so, we decided to take a look on Yelp for local restaurants. Hibachi Express popped up immediately on the search and was really close to the Legoland resort. Hibachi Express is located in a large shopping plaza with spacious amount of parking. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted. Upon reviewing the menu, the restaurant offered a wide variety of yakisoba, sushi, fried rice, and much more! We decided to order the following Kids Meal - Chicken with Fried Rice Steak Yakisoba Chicken Katsu Edamame Fried Cheesecake Sushi roll We were provided a number. Open seating with tables and booths are available. Fountain cups were provided to fill at the soda machine. After approximately 10 minutes the food came out to our table. Wow!! The portion size was extremely large and the service was quick! The kids meal was the size of a normal adults meal. The chicken was juicy and my daughter really enjoyed the fried rice. The Edamame was yummy as well! The Steak Yakisoba flavor profile was perfect. It wasn't overly fried. There was plenty amount of steak within the Yakisoba, and a good amount of vegetables, such as onions, included. The Fried Cheesecake was delicious! The slice was large and there was also complementary whipped cream with chocolate sauce on the side. Overall, I was really impressed with the service at this restaurant! The food was great and the price was quite inexpensive for our meal, less than $50.00.

1. This resturant does not have sweet tea. 2. They use plastic straws and styrofoam chips BUT the food is delicious. This, I'm lowering my rating to three states until they become more friendly to our planet ants reduce their styrofoam and plastic usage. read more

I'm not the biggest hibachi fan because generally it's over priced for what you get imo but Hibachi Express is not like the others. I'd choose this place 10/10 times. Great portions, chicken was flavorful, and my daughter had more than enough yum yum sauce (for free no charge like other post mention). read more

This is one of the better hibachi expresses I've been to. The food tasted very fresh and the lunch combo prices are reasonable. I had the chicken with fried rice. I don't like veggies so I asked for extra rice. I wish they didn't charge for extra sauce, as it seemed a bit overpriced for just a little more sauce. Overall happy with the service. read more

The restaurant still has the new paint smell. It's that new! We're visiting from Las Vegas, NV and spent the last two days at Legoland. It was great to find something that wasn't a buffet and not a chain restaurant. Portion size was good! Taste was on point. The chicken, steak and shrimp had a teriyaki glaze on it. Vegetables were seasoned well. Rice was fresh! Things I'd improve on: the shumai soup was made with frozen shumai, and there was a sauce that came out with the dinners that we had never seen before. Most restaurants serve your hibachi dinner with a ginger dressing and a mustard sauce. This one was creamy looking. ?? Still don't know what it is. But the food didn't need it. If you are looking for an inexpensive quick bite then this is a great spot. Food was not bad, service was fast. This is more like a fast food restaurant but with better options such as sushi and hibachi. Overall is a great value! read more

Steak noodles bowls, pork fried dumplings hubby ordered. I ordered California roll, 2 shrimp rolls and rice with yum yum sauce. We always order no garnish because their ginger is strong. I also don't like sesame seeds and they get the order right each time. I accidentally ordered the shrimp dumplings and now I get them every time. The name escapes me hut it's under appetizers. I do NOT like the ginger dressing, again ginger too strong. Five stars my husband does not want anything resembling sushi except Koizi until Hibachi Express. There is also one in Winter Haven. read more

The first time we went for lunch, thought it was great. We have been back several times hoping to have another good experience...it has been awful. Service extremely slow, food below average. Brand new restaurant with Delicious food!! Wow! Everything is super fresh, portions are huge, they serve quality meats and the prices are great. We saw their sushi and it looked amazing! We fully recommend this restaurant! We love hibachis and this is a perfect place to go if you want the same taste, without the expensive ticket. It is right across the street from Lego Land, so perfect for hungry families coming out of the park! read more

This place is tasty, fast and has comfortable indoor seating. It has a great menu of noodles, hibachi meats with fried rice and vegetables, sushi, soups and salads. The prices are very reasonable and they have the Japanese sodas with the marble in them, as well as bubble tea in a can. Kid-friendly as well, with a few lower-priced items for kids. Service is attentive and the food is hot, served generously and fresh. read more

Highly recommend this restaurant- absolutely delicious!! We walked here after an exhausting day at Legoland. It's right across the street in the strip mall on Cyprus Blvd. My husband and I have traveled and eaten all over the world and this food was so fresh, healthy and delicious. We ordered salmon and chicken hibachi and each dinner came with a bounty of fresh vegetables and delicious fried rice. All of the staff were kind and courteous, also. Not much ambiance but wonderful food. read more

We found this place through Yelp while we were on vacation at Legoland and what a gem it was! The food was great, portions were generous, prices were reasonable, wait was short, and people were extremely friendly and polite. My husband got teriyaki chicken and fried rice. The terrijayi chicken was literally grilled chicken with terriyaki sauce drizzled over it. Who does that lol. It's supposed to be cooked with the sauce. And if that is how they choose to serve it then the picture they have online should reflect that. read more

I'm from Chicago, visiting Legoland with family. Randomly stopped at this place for dinner. Food was delicious! No different from a high class restaurant. Everything tasted fresh, not greasy. Portions were generous size. Service was awesome too. Both thumbs up guys. Keep doing what you are doing. read more

Excellent hot hibachi chicken. Delicious, large portions. Even the vegetables were delicious. Hot quick food in a clean orderly environment. We stayed at the nearby Legoland beach resort and found this place right outside the resort after reviewing yelp. So glad we went here. Much better than the resort restaurant here. We saw a lot of locals coming in while we were there. Food was hot and delicious came with a salad or soup. Wish I had a photo but I ate my food too quickly. read more

So we looked up restaurants and sorted by distance and landed on Tsunami Sushi. The staff was incredible, making recommendations and even suggested some modifications. Totally awesome. Now to the food; it was amazing. We got a salad, some sushi and poke tacos. The poke tacos were the winner as favorite dish. Not sure when we'll be back to this area of Florida, but when we do we'll be back.

Buffet City feels like a mix between a tourist hotspot and a local go-to--and honestly, it works as…read moreboth. The restaurant can get pretty packed, but unless you're coming in with a large group, reservations aren't really necessary. The buffet leans heavily Asian, offering sushi, a wide variety of seafood dishes, classic Chinese favorites, and a hibachi station. That said, if you're not big on seafood (like me), you'll still find some solid American options. Many Asian buffets tend to limit those choices to basics like pizza and chicken tenders, but Buffet City goes a bit further. I was pleasantly surprised to see pot roast, mashed and roasted potatoes, and even fried chicken. They also have soups, salads, and a dessert selection that's actually pretty good. Come prepared--this is definitely an "elastic waistband" kind of place because you're going to want to eat your money's worth. The restaurant is surprisingly clean and well-kept, and the food stays fresh. The hibachi station has a great selection, and the chef is quick and thorough. Service is decent. Staff come around to refill drinks and clear plates regularly--but be warned, if you're not finished, guard your plate like it's gold. Same goes for your utensils--leave them on a plate, and they're gone. My mother got the gnocchi which was described as delicious but lukewarm in temperature. She loved the beet salad however and the side of sour dough bread. My dad got a 13oz steak with potato purée. His steak was good in flavor however he described it as a bit too tough, and could have been more tender. Since he is a retired chef of 40 years I value his input. My other family members ordered the egg yolk ravioli which seemed a bit of a strange combination but certainly worked out in flavor. The labneh that was with the beet salad was also paired and eaten with the sourdough bread which seemed to be a great idea. Unfortunately the bolognese pasta was not tender enough for my family's liking. If you like pasta that way then you should be just fine. Over all it was fine dining and good. If you would like to go to a place where the portions are a bit larger I would suggest another place. But this is a nice casual dining intimate place for any special small occasion. Last but not least, Beth our server was kind and sweet. She was patient and very accommodating with great table manner and should certainly be recognized for her gracious nature and hospitality.

This time I had the super eight, two eggs, two different meats, and two pancakes. While it was delicious out, the rest of it I'm having concerns with.

I was greeted by a lovely lady who was able to answer my questions about the menu. I got the hummus with pita bread, a lamb gyro pita wrap and a buffalo blaze pita-pie. Goodness, they were all so good. I had the buffalo blaze on the drive home because it's made to perfectly fit in your hand and enjoy it, and unlike a burger, doesn't leave a mess! I'll be back.

Stopped here after visiting Legoland. The spicy tuna roll was bland. We ordered two hibachi meals and sushi to-go. We get back to eat and there was no eating utensils or napkins in the bag. They provided one set of chop sticks. The service was minimal (but, that could be from COVID precautions). The spring rolls were the only thing we enjoyed. They have amazing sushi! And their prices are fairly decent compared to other places. Their hibachi is very good and they lunch specials are awesome so you can save some money. Plus the person who makes the sushi wears gloves so this is the only place I completely trust to buy sushi from. read more
