    Sauceless Seafood Delight
    Trish T.

Their quality has plummeted in the past year. It was our favorite Chinese place. I try to avoid it but had long day and it's on the way home. Ordered Seafood Delight. It came with no sauce. Completely flavorless. Ordered beed and broccoli with white rice. We got Fried. Their fried rice is just bad which is why we ordered white. It gets better, wait!! Asked for an order of House Lo Mein........ We got the Lo Mein...that's it. No chicken, pork, shrimp, onion. Nothing but oversauced noodles. Sad because they used to have the best Chinese around. Anyone want some overcooked noodles?

This is one of our go to's for takeout, it's not the NY style that we crave but it's really good. Florida is really hit and miss and usually miss for good Chinese food, this one is fairly consistent in its quality. Currently take out only due to Covid right now. They have prawn crackers for the Brits, but the curry is American Chinese style not the British Chinese one many of us crave. Their crab rangoons are some of the best I've had, more like slightly sweetened vegetable cream cheese than the plain cream cheese with scallions most places serve. The house special menu fun is really good and anything with garlic sauce or black pepper is delicious there. Dumplings are so so, lacking flavor, but that's me, you might love them.

The rice was hard and didn't have much taste. I ordered shrimp with broccoli the best thing was the broccoli! The shrimp was soft and had a weird texture I instantly spit it out the same as I did with the rice im a little upset because I wasted my money but I just couldn't eat it I tossed it in the trash my husband ate all his food but now he isn't feeling well... I've been here once before where the rice was actually good but this time NOT AT ALL. Unfortunately I won't be coming here again

A little gem that we found by accident. Inexpensive fresh and flavorful food. We had the crispy chicken and the beef with vegetables. Veggies were not over cooked, and meat was tender.

This is actually pretty good quality Chinese takeout! It definitely fills the cheap Chinese cravings. Great addition to have in Davenport where here's not a lot of variety. The portions are large! My mom used to own one of these restaurants and I can tell when the food is made lazily or poorly and this establishment has got it right! I will definitely be back when craving that Chinese takeout. Again it is takeout so don't expect it to be anything different. As far as takeouts go --this is one of the better ones I've been to. The funny thing is I always order wings from Chinese takeout places maybe it's because I'm Chinese so I don't really want the very Americanized Chinese food haha but I'll have me some Chinese takeout wings ALL DAY. ---- Food * fried chicken wings (asked them to make it spicy) with chicken fried rice-8.50 after tax & made in 15 minutes: The portions are good and the wings are large! Don't expect buffalo wings. Chinese places will usually do like a sweet soy/ vinegar mix for their sauce and add peppers to make it spicy. It's very similar to a light spicy general tso sauce. It's much more sweet than spicy though. I'd say a sweet to spice ratio of 3:1

    Pretty and clean place!

We were on our way home and had to stop for gas. So we stopped in a little town nearby, just off the interstate on Highway 27, called Davenport. Cute little town with a ton of local businesses, so we decided to look up what was around on our Yelp app. We were starving and decided we should stop here and get a snack. We agreed on QQ. It was a good choice. I had a couple of pork egg rolls and my daughter had some fried cream cheese/crab won tons. Just a little something to keep body and soul together until we got home to make dinner. Inside has about 5 tables and it took them about 10 minutes to get our order together. When we were leaving is when we discovered this was a popular place, because lots of people started coming in. I can tell this will be a regular stop when we're in this neighborhood. Their food is really good, oil was fresh, and the people who were working were very nice.

Food was great and good quantity, quick service, constant degree of service, continuity of food flavor.

I sat at the bar since it was only myself dining but thankfully the All You Can Eat (AYCE) dinner still applies to that section. It was under $40 to receive the food in excess minus the drinks; drinks (even cocktails) were very affordable. My bartender Jonell was awesome with servicing me (I had the passionfruit flavored Tropical Long Island) and Laine was super sweet in checking in on me during my dining experience! Please ask for their service when you visit, best recommendations! For my first round, I had the Clam Soup, Aged Tofu, Harumaki, Green Mussels, and Eel & Octopus Roll; for specialty rolls I had the King Kai, Crunchy (hand), and Eel Cucumber roll. Acording to my receipt I also got a King Oyster Mushroom Tempura [roll]? While I don't remember ordering it, I do remember that was one of my favorites! Loved the clam soup and the green mussels! Second round included a favorite from staff which was the Yellowtail Jalapeno (I'm very glad to have ordered that one, spot on! Thanks Jenna!). I finally had enough and topped my wonderful meal with a fried cheesecake dessert inlcuded in the AYCE dinner. All in all, for under $50 party of 1, I wouldn't trade this experience for any tourist Florida dining experience. ^_^

Where to start. This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to in terms of general vibe,…read morequality of food, egregious use of AI, and overall inconsistency. My husband found this on a local Facebook group and through Google reviews. Immediately we were confused because when looking up "Davenport Sashimi Fusion", the supposed name, the website pulls up a half-baked AI filled mess with a clunky online ordering form and nothing else. No real photos, genuinely just AI. When we navigated here, the sign actually differs and says "Hibachi2U". Weird! We head inside and see the "Davenport Sashimi Fusion" sign. Which is it? Surely Davenport Sashimi Fusion, since that's the name of the business on Yelp? No! After entering you're greeted with a cold AI-powered kiosk. There were a few people seated at booths, but the one waitress looked genuinely confused we wanted to be seated. The menus we were presented with state Hibachi2U again, so I guess that's the name after all? It feels extremely suspicious to me and not like the vibe that they're under new management (which is not even advertised anywhere). Menu was once again full of AI and not legitimate photos of their food. From a presentation standpoint, there is no effort put into this to even try. We inquired about the pricing of a la carte salmon sashimi since it was listed online and wasn't sure if pricing had changed (online menu does not match the restaurant). The waitress was surprised we asked about sashimi and stated they do not offer a la carte orders in the restaurant. Name states sashimi fushion. Whatever. We ordered gyoza, shrimp tempura roll, salmon crunch roll, and the shrimp and steak hibachi with fried rice. This came with house salad and clear soup. The gyoza was either a Cisco or LingLing frozen pre-cooked and super oily. Not fresh. The clear soup literally tasted like dirty brown water and was untouchable. I did not try the house salad since the dressing looked dubious and reminded me of pimento cheese. The sushi was extremely disappointing as the overuse of crunch flakes hid the pre-made Publix sushi type construction with poor quality ingredients. The hibachi was EMBARRASSING. Inconsistently cooked rice (both crunchy and mushy) with little flavor and tasted OFF. I had two bites and was done. The steak was cooked decently for medium rare (although chewy) and the shrimp was extremely overcooked and rubbery. The vegetables included were minuscule and seemed like they were bought as the rejects to save costs. In all, this is a lazy, horrible restaurant that presents as two different businesses falsely and has poor judgement in quality and cooking. Waste of a space in this shopping area, steer clear.

I was weirded out by the aggressive usage of AI across the signage, menu (including food pictures) and advertising across the restaurants. It gave a very unsettling feeling. There's also an ordering kiosk right as you enter next to a Sashimi Fusion sign that clashes with the Hibachi2U signage they've attempted to plaster on everything else. It's giving Ghost Kitchen. Unfortunately the food absolutely DID NOT redeem the experience. The gyoza was either store bought or pre-frozen fare, that was heavily doused in oil. It wasn't terrible but not restaurant quality. Our soup and salad that came with our hibachi was a massive disappointment. The clear soup legitimately tasted like dirty water and the ginger salad, although a highlight for the meal, again was nothing to write home about. Our two sushi rolls made Publix sushi look like a Michelin star restaurant. The shrimp tempura roll was the most bland version I had ever had and the salmon crunch roll was absolutely drowned in "crunch" as a way of adding flavor...it did not. I hoped at this point, the hibachi would be the saving grace. After all, this was now called "HIBACHI2U". The rice was overcooked and yet unevenly cooked. Not flavorful or seasoned whatsoever. The steak was slightly chewy and the shrimp was also overcooked. The vegetables tasted like they came from a frozen mix that had been thrown in. I'm giving two stars with the assumption that I won't be getting food poisoning here, but if my review is later adjusted, it would be due to the lingering inedibility of the meal. Maybe a little less AI usage, and a bit more focus on quality ingredients would go a long way.
