My mother got the gnocchi which was described as delicious but lukewarm in temperature. She loved the beet salad however and the side of sour dough bread. My dad got a 13oz steak with potato purée. His steak was good in flavor however he described it as a bit too tough, and could have been more tender. Since he is a retired chef of 40 years I value his input. My other family members ordered the egg yolk ravioli which seemed a bit of a strange combination but certainly worked out in flavor. Shortly after placing the order, I received a call from the restaurant regarding an issue they had been experiencing with their website. Since I had the employee on the phone, I asked if they could please include three plates, as we planned to share the food. I was told they didn't carry plates. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was greeted with, "How can I help you?" I explained that I was there for a pickup order. The employee handed me the bag and immediately started to walk away. I stopped her to ask again if there was any way to get plates. She appeared annoyed and told me they didn't have any, but she could give me some forks. Apparently, they don't automatically include utensils with to-go orders unless you specifically ask for them. Unfortunately, the service issues were only the beginning. To our disappointment, the food was awful. Every dish was bland, lacked flavor, and the beef in the Pad Thai didn't even look like beef (see picture). In the end, we spent nearly $60 on three entrées and an order of spring rolls. The photo on the website shows six spring rolls, but our order contained only three. The portions were small, the food was underwhelming, and we were left both hungry and disappointed. The shrimp stir fry was another dish with excessive amounts of onions and minimal other veggies. It should have called onion stir fry. I ordered Thai ice tea and hubby Thai beer. Drunken noodles had chicken which was dry. Street parking. Ambiance - okay. Overall, food and experience fell short up to our expectations.
