Maurice's isn't the best clothing store ever, nor is it supposed to be upscale or cater to ladies beyond 30 years old, but hey -- it's an option. This location? Well, a bit smaller than others. And the clothes seemed more trendy/club-ish/expensive than usual, too. Basic tank tops ran $12+ -- eek. There seemed to be more black, glittery, lacy top than anything else. Where were all the flannel shirts and casual tees? Shoe selection was very limited. Jeans were reasonably priced, but the quality wasn't there. I don't know. Maybe my expectations were skewed. Or my perception is off. But after I left, I wasn't really excited about this location anymore...

They say the conditioner will not alter the shade of the boot at all, but it does. The conditioner darkened my tan boots about two shades darker permanently. It is aggravating for them to you something with full confidence and it be deliberately misleading. Do yourself a favor by not getting the cleaner or conditioner if you have a light colored boot, it will darken it.

There are a lot of cute and fancy little boutiques opening out here but they should all learn this lesson- greet everyone who comes in. Don't assume they won't buy anything there and ignore them. I guarantee these stores will see all walks of life of Kentucky over the coming months and from working in retail myself I can tell you that people will surprise you. So if you want to avoid the mall, head down a few miles until you spot this Kohl's on the right hand side, in the same area as Sam's Club. During the holidays, the exit area was very congested because the light to turn back on to Nicholasville Road doesn't turn as often as it should, considering that the volume of cars is drastically different than normal shopping months, the county or whoever in charge of the stop light rotation should help out with this issue. It really was "that bad". I usually buy my dress clothes here. The fitting room is pretty convenient. I like that they don't hassle you by counting the items as you go in, that's always so annoying when a place does that. My mom has a Kohl's credit card and they are always sending her a ton of coupons. Whenever I go, I check on their website to see if they have the scannable ecoupons and they usually do. This past weekend, the website had a 25% off coupon for in store and online purchases. Heck yeah! Then I received Kohl's cash which is $10 certificates for every $50 that I spend. The only thing that I hate about the Kohl's cash is that you only have a week long window to use them and I usually letting them expire.
