Craving, the perfect drink...We were looking for help getting together the ingredients for Margaritas. Thanks to Yelp, for leading us to Hickman's. The store was filled with all kinds of liquor, wine, and beer. The gentleman at the front, who checked us out, was the sweetest man. We think, that Hickman's is his family store. We got everything we needed, and some things we bought that we didn't need, but looked good. If you are ever in the area, be sure and give this small business a try. Totally off the beaten path. Near the old supermarket - the G & something. Nice lady behind register. Good selection. They had the Pusser's Rum I buy every year for vacation Dark & Stormy's. Prices seemed cheaper than the liquor store in town. Easy parking. read more

Went in for a case of beer at noon today. Listed price was $33.99. I realized a few hours later that I was charged the 12 pack price x2, which was $18.99 + $18.99. So I ran back to the store to get the correct amount charged to my card. He would not give me the price listed of $33.99 and treated me as though I was crazy for even asking for it. An employee at the store told the owner that he should honor his own sign, but the owner did not. The customer service was awful. I don't think he'll last very long while treating people the way he treated. Worst store ever. read more

I live on cedar neck and tried this new ownership .. Got ripped off twice and had to fight for my refund .. Today they are out of both wines I drink and they just don't care .. As it always was .. Good beer prices but if you want wine go to banks .. It's worth the trip to rt 26 ... Terrible service .. read more

Great place. Been coming for years. Cheaper than directly on the beach. Relatively large store.

Place has been there for decades but under new ownership. The lady that works most days has been there for a long time and knows what the visitors and locals like, now the prices are great and you don't have to drive to far to get a bargain. read more
