"Devon" hung up on us and won't take our calls. His voicemail says he won't be back until July 8th. It's mid October. Real professional, guys. Anyway, fast forward to yesterday, a toilet was delivered. We tried to call both "Devon" and "Dave" but no answer. According to the home warranty company, good ol' Devon billed them for replacing the toilet, claiming the job was already done. If you want actual work done by someone who actually knows what they're doing and isn't too lazy to do the work, don't call them.

I know this because I called the warranty people daily to check, even though there was over 1 hour hold wait times. Finally he contacted them but he claimed he did the work. I've asked our warranty for a refund but Hoosier Plumbing claimed they fixed it... they did not and I'm stuck paying for literally nothing. Would not recommend at all, mainly because they are not honest.

While replacing it, they dropped it and laughed... A few weeks later, I found a gas leak INSIDE the thermostat of the water heater. IT has been three weeks again and still no replacements. HERE IS MY WARNING TO YOU: The customer service staff are trained to lie. I have been told "we will call you right back" more than 20 times and have never received a call back. I have scheduled 2 appointments with no show ups. I had my water heater broken twice and both times it takes 3 visits before deciding what to do. Each visit I make it very clear I want them to come out and replace per last visits findings. The person either does not show up or comes out and does the same thing the person before him did. If you have to go through them, never accept "I will call you back". Also, if you wait till 5pm, the phone system goes to a different company. That company is very well mannered and get things done. It's funny that a company hired to take care of after hours ends up being the better company. I recommend going through them if you want to actually be called back. I also recommend using different phone numbers everytime you call because they will remember your number and will tend to avoid you if you tell them they are doing a bad job. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! We need more people to complain about them. Our water heater broke in March and we had a home warranty. Our warranty company said we had to use this company to fix our water heater. It was Friday around 5pm when I got home from work and noticed that there was water all over my garage. We called right away and were told if they had time they would come out tonight. Nobody ever showed up, called, nothing. They had told us to shut off the water supply to the house so we spent a night running back and forth to a gas station to use the restroom. The next morning my husband called at 7am and we were told they would be out around 9. They didn't show up until 11:30am. When I answere the door I had to ask 3 times for them to cover their shoes before entering my home. The guy whom I thought was a plumber ended up confessing while looking at my water heater that he was an HVAC technician and that the company had sent him out because everyone else was busy. He literally looked at my water heater for less than 5 minutes and said we needed a new one, took a picture of it, and left. He said their office would be in touch. Flash forward to Monday. We still hadn't heard from this place - which is a 24 hour company. My husband called and we were told they were completely out of stock of all water heaters and that they had to order one and the soonest we could have one installed was FRIDAY! We asked several times for them to get a different brand, purchase one from another water heater company and they wouldn't. We were at the mercy of this place since it's the only one our warranty company would let us use. I went an entire week without hot water. I had to shower at friend's homes, couldn't do dishes or laundry, nothing. We received no apology from this place. I hate to accuse a place of this but I read on some google reviews that the same thing happened to other people. I honestly feel like this company has somehow been partnered with home warranty companies and are defrauding them by saying everything needs replaced and that they can only use certain brands. We complained and the front desk was very rude. I was so stressed out over this place. If I have to pay out of my own pocket, I will never ever use this place again.

The crew does good work and tries their best to not make messes and cleans up as much as they can at the end of each day, but messes are expected in any type remodel. So they do a good job. We used them to do electrical wiring for our basement, it was two new breakers to install three light switches and a dozen led light boxes, just under 7k. They were supposed to do plumbing of a bathroom sewage pump, valve for a softener to drain, and shower install with a rough out for a sink, 9k. They miss-scheduled the appointment for plumbing and instead of just saying oops let's fix that they spent their time telling me I scheduled Monday and Tuesday and it's a two day appointment so that's why I am receiving multiple reminders for my appointment on Monday and Tuesday to start, despite my repeating it is Tuesday and Wednesday because I would not be home on Monday as I told the tech who did the estimate. The electrical part they would not take payment for until they finished the job despite my request to pay as they go. Since it requires the plumbing team to finish first they said they would come back when their plumbers finished, still daily texts and calls to schedule the final electrical which according to their tech couldn't be done until the plumbing THEY were scheduled to do. Their AI based system is terrible. Their work is quality and their human customer service team is frustrating but friendly. We canceled the plumbing and now will cancel the finish work for electric as well. Too expensive to justify these annoyances in my opinion. We were convinced to buy their service plan for our ac and electric, not sure what that really gives us but we won't be using it now anyway. I'd caution anyone from using them without a few estimates first.

We've had an almost 3-year HVAC issue, where five different technicians kept doing leak searches (and charged us for all of them) with no offers for long-term solutions. After my initial call to hopefully address this, it took about a week for them to send me a text offering the minimum possible resolution without even speaking to me. Conveniently, the call-back number they sent didn't work, either. It just goes to show that their management doesn't have the professionalism or courage to have actual conversations with loyal customers. They all hide behind the veil of their customer experience team who unfortunately don't make the decisions. I've never been so relieved to move on from a company whose leadership doesn't value their members.

He told me he can have someone out the same day (afternoon). I received a text that Mark was on his way and he showed up as scheduled and advised. I explained the problem and he started working on the outdoor unit. He never went to the basement where my Unit is located, only outside. I asked him if he would advise the cost of the repair before doing the work and he said yes and reminded me of the $85 Diagnostics Visit and I said ok. 15-20 Minutes later Mark said he replaced the Capacitor and the total was $300. The AC was working and I was satisfied, but a little disappointed he did not advise the cost before repairing. But the $300 to me was very fair and I was still happy it was repaired. Three days later my AC was not working again so I called and spoke to Mark. He seemed busy and uninterested in my issue (but that may be my misunderstanding his tone). He told me he could not come that day, but possibly the next morning but more than likely the afternoon. He said he would contact me in the next few hours to let me know what time he could have someone to me the next day. Over four hours later I had to reach out to him to find out when he would be there the next day, but he said it would be tomorrow afternoon (I needed morning). So I said disregard, I will find another company. I purchased a whole new Furnace and AC System from another company. I would have used Vital Heating & Air for the replacement if Matt would have contacted me like he said he would. And, I found out that Mark installed the capacitor without tightening it correctly and it fell inside the unit and burnt the electrical and kicked the breaker, which caused the unit to stop working.

While they didn't have the needed part in stock, they were able to get a temporary fix in place so we were not without A/C during the peak of summer and returned to fix our unit as soon as they received the part from the distributor 3 business days later. At no point in the process did they try to upsell me, and they were very transparent about the cost of parts for the repair, and the potential complications that could lead to more or less labor cost on the final bill.
