They are certainly at the high end of the cost spectrum, which would be fine if they provided the customer service equal to that higher cost, but they use a automated system that will bombard you reminders and calls which is irritating. They are very friendly and the technicians are very professional however. We used them to do electrical wiring for our basement, it was two new breakers to install three light switches and a dozen led light boxes, just under 7k. They were supposed to do plumbing of a bathroom sewage pump, valve for a softener to drain, and shower install with a rough out for a sink, 9k. They miss-scheduled the appointment for plumbing and instead of just saying oops let's fix that they spent their time telling me I scheduled Monday and Tuesday and it's a two day appointment so that's why I am receiving multiple reminders for my appointment on Monday and Tuesday to start, despite my repeating it is Tuesday and Wednesday because I would not be home on Monday as I told the tech who did the estimate. The electrical part they would not take payment for until they finished the job despite my request to pay as they go. Since it requires the plumbing team to finish first they said they would come back when their plumbers finished, still daily texts and calls to schedule the final electrical which according to their tech couldn't be done until the plumbing THEY were scheduled to do. Their AI based system is terrible. Their work is quality and their human customer service team is frustrating but friendly. We canceled the plumbing and now will cancel the finish work for electric as well. Too expensive to justify these annoyances in my opinion. We were convinced to buy their service plan for our ac and electric, not sure what that really gives us but we won't be using it now anyway. I'd caution anyone from using them without a few estimates first. read more

We've invested $20,000+ worth of repairs with Peterman over the course of four years, along with the $17/month membership. We live in an old house, so it sadly came with the territory and we had to hire their services for repairs that were beyond our skill level. Our trust with them came to a screeching halt when the time came that I needed to speak with management. We've had an almost 3-year HVAC issue, where five different technicians kept doing leak searches (and charged us for all of them) with no offers for long-term solutions. After my initial call to hopefully address this, it took about a week for them to send me a text offering the minimum possible resolution without even speaking to me. Conveniently, the call-back number they sent didn't work, either. It just goes to show that their management doesn't have the professionalism or courage to have actual conversations with loyal customers. They all hide behind the veil of their customer experience team who unfortunately don't make the decisions. We Attempted to reschedule although the female receptionist was immensely disrespectful and irate, refusing to follow stated policy nor even listen, therefore we cancelled our "membership" and found a more respectable plumbing company. Epitome of bare minimum and we are tired of the constant rescheduling, waiting all day, for them to show up and do absolutely nothing. To note: three times No service completed after signing while plumbers sat in our drive way for an hour after stating they need to reschedule and can't complete assignment. I don't know anything about their plumbing and HVAC. I used their electrical service in May of 2027. The goal was simple: remove the overhead line feeding the house 100A 220VAC residential service with a buried line (via conduit) to the pole including an upgrade to 200A service, connecting to an existing breaker panel. Entrance to the house is a straight shot through the back yard to the pole at the property line with my neighbor, about 110 foot in length. The original estimate was extraordinarily high compared to competitors, but was assured by reviews and the original estimator that Peterman would stand by their work. The "re-estimate" came in at $5000 higher and that should have been a red-flag. The re-estimator basically said the guy who originally estimated it was a dolt and you can't trust salesmen. I learned later, you can't trust Peterman. I'm in the trades, but retired, so I know what's right and what's wrong. The purely electrical part of it is fine, but the execution of the upgrade was an unmitigated disaster. Nothing is square, nothing is plumb, conduits are off plumb and not properly tied to the house. I spent hundreds replacing or repairing damaged ties straps, fencing, pavers, etc. The original estimator assured me they could push the conduit through under the pavers and fencing. That was their first lie. They ended up bringing in a mini backhoe with a 30" (!!!) wide bucket to dig for a 4" pipe. They obliterated my back yard, digging a massive pit, laying the pipe crooked, twisted and stressed in the bottom after weeks and weeks of delays. When they finally filled in the pit weeks later, it had already begun to collapse on both sides, distorting the conduit even further. When the "field manager" FINALLY showed up on the job (he never once showed up DURING the installation even after my repeated calls to Peterman that things were not going well), all the work except the backfill was done. Although I agreed not to publish his name, after all of this, I don't think he deserves any protection: Austin Hale. He PROMISED me that this fall they would send in a grading company to smooth and reseed the lawn. It is so rough and chaotic now that I've been unable to mow it and now it has 3' tall weeds that I'm sure the health department will be issuing me a citation soon. Will Peterman pay for that? Don't hold your breath. I contacted Peterman this morning to find out when this grading would be done and they informed me that it was not contracted and there would be an additional fee to do that. In other words, Austin bald-faced LIED to me. I would never ask these people back to my home ever again because they'd screw up the house and property even more and then claim that "catastrophic damage" to the property wasn't covered under the contract and it would be an additional $250,000 for that repair. Idiots. For electrical, never Peterman. Any suggestions to somebody moral would be welcomed. For plumbing, I recommended Williams Comfort Air ("Mr Plumber"). Maybe not as cheap as the schmoe down the street, but HONEST. For HVAC, Love HVAC (a small local company) is excellent, founded decades ago, willing to go the extra mile and HONEST. Note who didn't get an HONEST rating? They come across - assaulting you with their toothy, goofy, doofy grins every morning during the local news - as if they have a "hometown" morality about them. I was told that if I joined their protection club $220/yr I could extend the labor warranty to 10 yrs (like the parts warranty), but only if I renewed every year. There were some issue with the installation in the first 2 years, but they resolved them under warranty. My 1st year was up and before renewing, I asked the question 'is this true?' What is my actual warranty? 1 year was the answer. The second answer was no. The third answer was yes but you don't have to re-up every year as long as you have proof of yearly maintenance. My experience with Peterman Brothers has been very disappointing. They installed a new HVAC system for me in April 2022. Within the first year, the system began short cycling due to an improperly sized lineset that should have been replaced during the original installation. After paying around $10,000 for the system, I was then told it would cost an additional $1,700 to fix their mistake. After months of back-and-forth, they eventually corrected it. Now, just three years later, my heat pump is completely frozen. I was given conflicting information from 2 different techs who were sent out, and ultimately quoted about $3,000 to replace a defrost board and condenser coil sensor--despite those parts being covered under a 10-year warranty. Given the prolonged stress the system endured from the original installation issue, it's very reasonable to question whether this premature failure is related. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! The experience was horrible. When I had the original technician come out to look at my AC unit not blowing cold air, he came back with 5 different quotes ranging from $800-$2,000 in repairs. He never once told me in our conversation that the capacitor needed to be replaced before he could fully diagnose the repairs needed. I then proceeded with the mid-tier package thinking it would fix the issue, and also because the tech told me the additional parts/service included in the package would help the long-term survivability of the unit. After waiting 5 days for the next tech to come out and perform the repairs based on what I selected, he informed me the unit is still not working and diagnosed the compressor needing to be replaced. When I asked why I wasn't told that this was the original part needing replacement, he informed me they wouldn't have known until said capacitor was replaced. After I asked why I wasn't informed of this earlier and what did I just get charged for, they bounced me around to 3 different associates. I had to wait for the original tech to come back out to "confirm" that it was the compressor needing replacement. He then quoted me $5,600 for a replacement of a compressor on a 1.5 ton HVAC unit. I was upset but said to move forward with repairs. They then bounced me around to a different associate who wanted to set up a call to review replacement units at various pricing (similar tactic to the original tech quoting me on repairs). I waited another 3 days for the scheduled sales call, at which time I was told they cannot perform the sales call due to the tech not taking pictures of the site and current unit and they would need to get pictures before they can proceed. I then did not hear anything until a billing associate called to ask for payment. I never received a call to reschedule the site assessment, all the while my tenants were sitting in summer heat without a working AC for almost 2 weeks. I decided to call another HVAC company while dealing with this mess, had a tech come out and inform me the HVAC unit was inoperable and also informed me that a 2 ton unit was the correct unit for the size of my house, quoted $4,000 for parts and labor on a new, bigger unit, and came out to replace the unit all in the time it took Peterman to figure out how to set up a sales call. The entire experience was miserable and now I'm locked in a battle with Peterman to readjust pricing of the original "fix" I had since they essentially conned me into purchasing additional parts that were completely useless in helping to fix the root problem. read more

So I call in April to check my AC, could not get me in till July 2nd....on July 2nd they call me at 5pm to say they won't make it but they can get me on August 17th.... I paid for a water heater, paid for Peterman Brothers to install the water heater and have paid for extended warranty. Now, 2 years after installation and 2 years of paying for the extended warranty, the water heater is defective and Peterman Brothers states they are not going to cover the warranty because we did not buy an expansion tank during installation. The installation tank was optional, and we purchased the best of everything, including paying them for 2 years for extended warranty. So now we have spent all of this money for nothing on a warranty! Whoever finds this email first, I truly hope you do something about what I'm about to tell you. I was scheduled on 6/15 for service, and you guys couldn't make it out, understandable. Today is get a full install, new ac unit, new furnace. The technicians were really pleasant, but some things have not been done correctly. My home has been filled with gas, even hours later, there are traces of gas in my home. The laundry room where the furnace is located, is unbearable. After my service was completed our technician informed us, that our water heater no longer was operable. So, I have technicians come into my home to complete a full system, furnace and AC, just to leave me without a water heater? The technician immediately calls his boss, claiming to send someone out to look at it tonight. Now we are being told, they aren't arriving until tomorrow. We call to report this issue, and the woman who answers the phone, tells us we can't prove that our water heater worked. Besides any sense of manners, I can assure you, I took a very hot long shower last night in this very house. What kind of customer service is this? This is a joke, that has stopped being funny. My install has been delayed, my house is full of gas, the technicians possibly broke or at the very least disabled my water heater, and no one is doing anything to fix it? I would like to admit, the technicians were friendly, even if they didn't know what they were doing. I also would like to include, the price was more than competitive with everyone else I have got quoted from. I never expected such a bad experience, with such a piss poor customer service response. Very disappointing furnace installation. It started with them not bringing the correct grill for the return. Despite it being on the work order. They used the same grill which I am not convinced is correct. I called on Friday and told the service department that I did not need a new thermostat. I was told they would notify installation to take it off. The tech said they couldn't because it was included in the order. They would just leave by furnace. Told them to forget it and just install. I put in a Goodman system because it worked well in my previous homes. After installation I was told they would told that two gas valves did not work and they would have to order part. Then they would reach out to schedule. The tech even said he "hates when this happens". So why is Peterman even selling this system. Peterman came out December 2025 told me motor needed to be replaced, at the end I paid $1300; six months later during the heat wave July 2, 2026 the motor went out and it was 86° in my house. Peterman did not come out until Monday July 7th. Now, they are telling me I need to pay another $700 to reinstall a new motor which means I am paying twice for the same service. Yesterday Peterman Brothers came out to look at our heating unit and told us we needed a new burner, but that it couldn't be replaced until Monday. At the time, the unit was still working--just intermittently. After the technician left, the heat never turned back on. I called Peterman Brothers and was told they couldn't send anyone back out until the following day. With temperatures at -2°, we were forced to find somewhere else to stay for the night. This morning I had another HVAC company come out. They immediately found that the Peterman technician had not turned the gas back on and had also reinstalled one of the burners incorrectly. The new company had replacement burners on hand, installed them easily that same morning, and charged about half of what Peterman Brothers had quoted. I've been a member for a while, but the quality of service has clearly gone downhill. Leaving a family without heat in subzero temperatures due to basic oversight--and then being unable to respond--is unacceptable. The fact that another company resolved the issue immediately and at a much lower cost only added to the frustration. I hope Peterman Brothers takes a serious look at their service standards and training, because this experience was extremely disappointing. Also one other note. They did not wear booties on their feet when they came in the house so they tracked in salt and snow. read more

After waiting over a week for an appointment, technician Derrick Chandler came out for 10 minutes, made one visual observation of my AC unit, called my husband stupid, then left. A neighbor witnessed the whole encounter. He never took the cover off the unit, diagnosed the issue, provided an estimate, look at any of the other items listed on the service request, or tell us next steps. Derrick then called the company, reported my home as "hostile environment," and flagged my account as non-serviceable. Absolutely trash customer service. I'll start by saying that in the past I have been a longtime Peterman customer. They have done electrical work, plumbing work, and a few years ago we purchased a heater and central air conditioner replacement from them. I paid a premium for those services and never minded because their service and technical expertise was always top notch. Until 2 days ago. I have a service contract with them that includes an annual inspection of my HVAC system and that was scheduled for Monday. I received a text at 9am stating I was on the schedule and would receive updates throughout the day and a text prior to the technician arriving. At 4:45pm, after hearing nothing all day I sent an angry text thanking them for wasting my whole day. Petermans doesn't offer a service window time guarantee and now I understand why. The dispatcher responded to my text by telling me that unfortunately they were VERY ( capitalization provided by Peterman) busy with emergency orders that took precedence over me and asked me if I wanted to reschedule. One noticeable omission in their reply was any kind of apology for not updating me all day. The next day I called and asked to speak to a manager. While she did eventually apologize, she go very insistent in trying to explain to me how their process was responsible for me not being updated because they were doing everything possible to keep me on the schedule and didn't want to update me until they were certain they could fit me in. She seemed to think that if she explained their intent it would somehow make me feel more understanding about them wasting my whole day without contacting me. In conclusion, as others have said in these reviews, Peterman's customer service is woeful and not focused on the customer at all. Why did I even need to call and ask to speak to a manager. A good manager would have reviewed the text messages, seen that they had an upset customer and called proactively. I am canceling my service contract with them because not sure why I'm paying 12/month to be treated like I'm in their way. e are reluctant to write this because we have used Peterman for over three years now, buy into their yearly maintenance subscription. We just spent thousands of dollars upgrading several things through them, and then had a pipe burst near new work that was done. When we contacted Peterman for help, we were met with resistance. They stated that they could not help us for at least 24 hrs as our basement flooded. Then when we contacted them the next day as they promised they would be available then, they said they couldn't get to us for 48 hours. We ended up finding a much more reliable plumbing service who helped us right away. Then we were contacted by Peterman for routine electrical checks which is included with our yearly fees that we have already paid , so we made an appointment. They NEVER SHOWED UP. We have completely lost faith in this company as they were not there for us when we needed them the most, despite being loyal customers who have spent ungodly amounts of money on their products. I called Peterman Brothers to look at my leaking AC in July 2025 during 90-degree temps. The AC was on, blowing cold air, and working. I had a clogged condensate drain line, which Peterman Brothers fixed last year. The technician, Jake, was horrible; he did not fix the problem and turned off my AC unit until we could meet in person to "discuss the issue". This was a part of his high-pressure sale tactics to sell me a $35K heat pump solution and their Peterman Protection Club membership. They also sold me an Ecobee smart thermostat for $800 (because it was "in the truck" and ordering would take 1-2 weeks). The same thermostat is $139 at Lowes (before any discounts). This was the beginning of a horrible experience with mold, overpriced thermostats and equipment, poor workmanship, and worse customer service. This was never resolved by them and their management team (Michelle) refused to escalate and finally stopped returning my calls. I did not have AC for a week and a half. I had to call another company to come and replace my heat pump and AC; comparable unit for $12K. I am a former customer that will never use Peterman Brothers again. read more

I purchased a membership that would allow me free or discounted services, as well as faster service, in some cases. Several weeks ago, I made three different appointments with them: HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. For two of these appointments I asked my daughter or a friend to be at my house during the window they said they would come ('afternoon'). For the third, no one was available so I took the afternoon off of work, using my PTO. All three times the company cancelled within an hour of their appointment window. I understand that sometimes jobs take longer than expected. But 0 for 3? My time is valuable, too. I expressed my displeasure, cancelled my membership, and requested a membership refund. I was told they do not offer any refunds. I cannot recommend Peterman Brothers. They are unreliable. read more

The first quote, Aug 30th, indicated that the igniter is bad and needs replacement, at about $400+. Tech (Collin) did not check the ohms across the igniter, which would have suggested that the igniter was not broken. Replaced igniter and it didn't fix problem I checked ohms myself and it's value was 49 ohms the same as a new igniter so not defective. Another visit after I returned from a vacation - Sept 24th, indicates a need for a control board, which is likely correct from my understanding. However, the tech didn't check if the output to the igniter was 120 Volts - I checked it after he visited. It never reaches 120 V, stays at about 9 V before the gas valves opens, and doesn't glow, so it doesn't ignite. This occurs three times, and then error 34 appears. If ignition is done manually, it ignites without error codes and runs the proper sequences. Tech (Collin) also did not check the voltage on the board for the igniter in case of an issue with the wires. Quote for board replacement over $3000 and another for $2000 (unclear what 'premium vs. economy price' means). I asked for the part number that would be used, as I wanted to ensure the correct part is used - new and not refurbished. The newest superseded part is HK42FZ088, obtained by using the Carrier app and furnace model 59MN7A100V211222. The part should cost about $600 new (online), plus the cost of installation. Let's say 2 hours for travel and installation, on the high side. Collin would not provide me with the part number that would be used - newer parts superseded multiple part numbers, so I wanted to ensure I was getting the Carrier's most recent recommendation. Tech didn't like that I'm an engineer and asking questions, and I do understand how the Carrier Infinity unit works and cycles. Additionally, my adult children are Purdue electrical engineers, so we are not intimidated by a furnace's electrical system. We do have to read up on them, but it's not that difficult. If the price were more reasonable and the tech less defensive, I would have used them. Instead, I called a different company today that had installed the system 10 years ago, and we had used them until this attempt to try Peterman Brothers - that was a mistake for sure. Update next day 9/26/2025: Star Heating and Cooling (Ryan - he was excellent and had no issues with me being there and discussing the system in detail. He performed a comprehensive check of the system, including ohms and voltages, and brought the correct board with them, the HK42FZ088. He then showed me the board number and installed it to verify if the problem was resolved, which it was. Ryan also made a minor adjustment to one of the switches, which may resolve an issue with an error code that appeared every year on extremely cold days (single-digit temperatures) since the unit was installed. Price was significantly lower than Peterman Brothers' quote, and I did not share their pricing with Star Heating and Cooling. read more

We have used Petermann Brothers for a number of years. They always give great service, and have very friendly servicemen. We had them come to clear a clog in our drain, and also to replace our garbage disposal. The person who came to do the work was very friendly, respected our home, and was great with our dog. The price for any of this kind of work is always very high, but theirs doesn't seem as bad as many. I am happy with the work that they did, for the price that they charged. And it's always nice that when they come to do the work we request, whether it be plumbing or working on our air conditioner or furnace, which we also had them replace a few years ago, they are always friendly, get the job done quickly, and get out of our way. read more

My furnace went out 11/29/25, PB tech came out 12/1 and tried to sell me a service contract 1st thing. Listed 2 items that might be bad, The inducer motor because of hum and pressure switch because trouble light showed an open switch which it would do without inducer pressure. He also said the blower motor could go out. He said I need an inducer and switches (2). I said ok to the inducer and he said don't be mad at him if they are bad. He tried to sell me a new furnace since mine was 15 yrs old. Ordered part, came back 12/5 wrong part, returned 12/11, installed part and said bad switch. You have been without heat for 13 days and you should get a new furnace. You can talk to the sales rep and have heat tomorrow. I would be without heat another week, pay $1000 for two $50 switches. I purchased a furnace for $6500 which is $1000 more than other companies. Poor service with no heat 10 days due to CSR, Dispatch, wrong part. Upsell, predatory sales, profit over service. The switches were never hooked up on reinstall. Tech got what he wanted, sold a service contract and made a new furnace sale. I feel that I should be compensated for no heat due to their poor service, predatory sale tactic during the upcoming weather warning. I feel $1500 is fair compensation. I forgot, Thomas took a picture of the heat exchanger which had a black line across the top which looked like it was made with a marker. He said a group would look at it and decide if it needed replaced. He again said he would get a new furnace since mine was 15 rs old. I told him it was under lifetime warranty. I wished I never purchased my ac/ hvac unit . The cavalier attitude of the person that called .. unprofessional . I was sold a bill of goods . 6 months installed & a pymt plan consistently paid . Then we can schedule you Tuesday - with no time but a 15 minute notice . I was told the exact opposite . Things should not be out of service in a few months . Having a spouse that recently passed away & 2 special needs kids - I don't need this . I regret choosing your company . I thought that you would be better than Williams - you are not . The receptionist said " At least you have heat @ 65 with an attitude . - I would never recommend you & regret trusting & choosing this company . I pay every month for a piece of crap - buying an ac & furnace - no company loyalty but smart talk & zero ethics . Sad your company has declined to-the Williams level ! By far the most overpriced residential plumbing company anywhere in the indianapolis area. there is a reason Peterman's rating is only 2 stars. I cannot express how disappointed I am with this company. We've had a membership with Peterman Brothers for over four years soon after we bought our first house. I thought we found a gem, and we've hired them to do many projects, including putting in a new AC unit. We've probably paid them $10,000+ over the years. However, our latest experience with them was so awful and is seriously the worst customer service I have ever received from any company. I am floored at how horrible we were treated. Last month we had a plumbing maintenance check, and they found bits of a dead roach inside the electrical panel of the water softener unit in the garage mud room. The plumber (Tom) acted rudely and kept saying things like "I have to think of my children" as he ran out of our home. They said we needed to do a pest inspection before they can service our home, which is fine and we agreed. We paid for an inspection by a A+ BBB pest control company, and they found we did not have any bug problems. We showed Peterman Brothers the receipt, and the plumbing appointment was rescheduled. The next plumber supposedly found a live roach that he claims to have squished with his foot but SHOWED NO EVIDENCE of this actually happening. He too ran out of the home with very little explanation, and a "no service" hold was placed on our account. We had the pest inspector come back, and he confirmed again that we did not have a problem. We also put out bug traps and have caught zero roaches. When I spoke to the Zach (customer service rep), he did not even try to explain his company's response or address my concerns and would only say we could "cut ties." When I explained that the inspections were clear, he suddenly changed the policy and said they'd need evidence of a "full scale extermination," which was not recommended by the pest control company. I get that a plumbing company needs a bug control policy, but the way this was done was exceedingly unkind, rude, and outright insulting. We did everything we were supposed to do and were treated horribly. I called to cancel my membership today and was told they had already done it without even telling us. After 4 years with this company, I am so shocked and disappointed. Based on other reviews, it appears they have changed their business model. I suspect they no longer wanted our service and tried to find a way to insult us out of our membership so they can raise rates. This is seriously the worst company I have ever dealt with, and I urge anyone reading this to go with someone else. read more

I do not recommend Peterman. They came out to look at an air conditioner that wasn't performing well. The technician looked at the unit, checked the refrigerant levels, and then announced that I would need a new air conditioner. The refrigerant was 10 lbs lower than it should be, and it would be better to replace the whole system. Using their bottom-of-the-line equipment, The quote for this was $13,000. So, obviously, I got a second opinion, a third, and a fourth. All 3 of the other companies disputed Peterman's claim that the refrigerant was low. It turns out that a $35 capacitor had gone bad and was causing all of my issues. We replaced the capacitor and cleaned the outdoor unit just for good measure, and we are back to blowing cold air. I signed up for Peterman's membership program because it would save me a lot of money on this supposed new unit that I needed. I asked them to cancel my membership and refund the money they had charged me for the first month. A few weeks later, I got a call from their membership department telling me that if I canceled my membership, I would have to pay $87 for the original service call. I let the membership rep know there was no way that was happening. In response, he snapped at me and said that they would go ahead and process the refund, and he abruptly hung up. I wish I had never called Peterman. I had a previous bad experience with one of their plumbers who came out to clean a drain. In both cases, their technicians failed to get the job done and tried to upsell me major projects. Their sales guy was very pushy, and their membership team was flat-out rude. Peterman Brothers - Greenwood, IN Peterman Brothers tried to scam my 80-year-old mother during a routine service call for a gas furnace tune-up. After completing the inspection, the technicians said the furnace needed replacement because it was over 35 years old and worn out. My mother agreed to the cost and payment plan between both parties. Since she is on a fixed income, she applied for and was approved for a $35,000 loan. The technicians worked diligently on the removal and installation of the new HVAC system. During the installation of the panels, the technician said there was an arch when the metals contacted each other, unsure if there was an active wire in the system. The technicians recorded the problem, showed the video to my mother, and said an electrician would be needed to check the wiring. They informed my mother that an electrician was en route. When the electrician arrived, he performed routine checks. He told my mother he had good news and bad news-- the good news he could not reproduce the issue, and the bad news--that the house was not up to code. Speaking to an elderly woman whose 938-square-foot house was built in 1920, he used fear tactics, stressing the urgency to fix the alleged fire hazard within weeks. He emphasized the risk by asking or stating: Do you run your dryer while watching TV? Don't run your microwave and run your vacuum at the same time; this may cause an overload in the system, and your home doesn't have outlet boxes every six feet. The distribution line from the city to your meter connection has burnt marks on two of four lead wire connectors, the junction box needs to be replaced, and the hanging wire between the floor joints in the basement could be live. Your kitchen counter outlets are not up to code for normal daily operations. Imagine being told it's going to cost you $35,000.00, and holes are likely going to be put in your walls and maybe your ceilings, and she will be responsible for the repairs. This is the kind of scam you are running on senior citizens. A second opinion is always needed. A second opinion is needed because you have put a terrifying fear in my elderly mother's mind. Because your trained technician painted a picture of her burning up in her own home. And now, she feels unsafe. My mom's friend from church recommended an electrician who's licensed, bonded, and insured. The electrician is a journeyman in his career field, an active member of the IBEW union. During the estimate, he noticed a tag on the wire with a date of 06/2023, letting him know that work was done in the basement, which let him know the house is up to code. Everything that needed to be done was explained to my mother, and he also apologized for the scare tactics used by the people within his career field. The electrician fixed everything within an eight-hour day, identifying all live wires and removing the wires that were dead or unused, rewiring the junction box, and adding three light fixtures in the basement. It is all done in eight hours, at a cost not exceeding $800. This incident will not go unnoticed. I will be filing a Consumer Complaint to the Office of the Indiana Attorney General. Don't use this company. Had them come out to install new sump basin. Technician installed my sump pump incorrectly causing my crawl space to get flooded. Left a review on google & magically disappears why is that? Take accountability & do the right thing. Supplied pump that works & says they won't cover a failed pump? Passed the first time they came out for sump pump inspection & second time after I had to pump out my crawl space. Thanks for causing my house damage, future problems & wasting my time. read more
