This hidden little gem is worth a visit. They offer unique ciders and a few snacks. It's located in the industrial area of Middleton but when you walk in you feel transformed to a cozy and relaxing setting. My friend and I each ordered a flight so that we could try them all. The ciders offer crisp and refreshing flavors and the staff are super friendly. We also tried the chocolate made by a local Madisonian and the cheeseboard looked delicious.

A flight with some classics and some specials. The framboise was my fave

What a lovely spot! The ciders are delicious and unique, the staff super kind and helpful and the cheese board is also really good and filling. Definitely recommend! And pro tip, try any new blends they have! It's definitely off the beaten path but worth the find!

Hidden Cave Cidery certainly is hidden! It's located in a strip mall in Middleton across from the ice rink. It has its own parking lot so it's fairly easy to find parking. They just opened back in June so they are still in the process of renovating and decorating. When you walk in, it seems like the business is not open but as you keep walking through the building you'll see the tap room located in the back. The tap room has all sorts of cider decor and has the doorway to a nice patio. I can't wait to see what the place looks like when it's complete! My husband and I ordered a Cider flight, a glass of the hibiscus, and a glass of the honeysuckle French toast. They were all good but my favorite was by far the French toast. You HAVE to try this cider, especially during the fall. In the words of Ryan Reynolds, it's like fall in a cup! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed live music while we drank our cider. The band, 2 Hat Champ, was played some great funk music which really added to the experience. They also had Roman Candle pizza available for purchase. I can't wait to go back for the Honeysuckle French Toast and to try some new ciders!!

We loved the laid back atmosphere of this cidery. All the ciders were unique and delicious! We each did a flight and a cheese board. We will definitely be back!

As the name implies, this place is definitely hidden. They opened their patio this summer and have a few picnic tables and high top tables (ps the patio is dog friendly). Our group got a few flights to try all of their draft ciders and agreed that the lemongrass lavender cider is the best one of them all. They mentioned they are undergoing renovations indoors and hope to have a tasting room set up by November. Their menu seems to rotate based on what's available. Overall, I had a good time, and I'll be back in the fall to see what new flavors they come up with.

WHAT A HIDDEN GEM! In town visiting family over the 4th of July weekend. Needed to kill some time and looked for a cider place - viola! This place is off the beaten path, however, there was a steady flow of people on Saturday afternoon. We tried a couple of flights and they were all pretty great. Table favorite was the French Toast and Pina Colada.

Every cider I've had has been delicious, and I've heard they're going to have gluten-free beer on tap soon.

I was very pleased. Brix has a very nice cider selection. I got the flight which comes with 4 ciders of your choice. I chose Troll Juice which is a honey wine that packs quite the punch for a cider. The Cosmic Queen was pretty light in taste but not overly sweet. The apple and raspberry was a great mix. My personal favorite was the Watermelon Mojito, it was so light, very refreshing and delicious. I love mint, so this was right up my alley. I could have had a handful of those! Lastly I had Jam Sesh which was a bit too sweet for me but it was still pretty tasty. The Honey and Strawberry taste was pretty prominent, but I did taste a bit of the apple. I liked how chill this place was even though they had a live band playing outside. I had a few bites of the Wagyu Burger that my fiancé had and it was sooo good! If you are into ciders or just trying something new and happen to be visiting Mt. Horeb; This place is a must try! (Just to add: You can seat yourself, and you have to order your food from the counter, but they do bring it to the table.)

What I like about this place is that firstly it hosts many sorts of events. We weren't here late at night but we came here the morning after check out some of the vendors being featured here. The fact that it's dog friendly was even better . I like that you're able to charge by the ounce at this place. There's even food featured here too and a pretty fair price . I tried a few of the hard ciders that were featured here since I've never had that before and I'm basically hooked on their product. Bars like this are just pretty engaging. Great outdoor seating and very clean restrooms! Great place to try an array of new drinks!

It's a fun, casual spot with a spacious layout--there's seating on the main level, upstairs, and outside as well. The self-serve, pour-your-own system is a great feature. After a quick check-in with the cashier, you're free to sample and pour what you like. The taps offer a wide variety of options, including beer and wine, which was a pleasant surprise! There was live music playing during our visit, adding a really nice touch to the laid-back atmosphere. They also offer snacks for purchase (paid at the cashier). One suggestion: it would be nice to see more non-alcoholic options besides just soda--maybe a craft NA beer or mocktail for those not drinking (like myself). Overall, it was a quick but enjoyable stop. We'd return again. I also noticed they offer bingo some nights- that's always fun.

We had been looking for a local farm-to-table experience when we found Campo di Bella. Our first…read morevisit was a Saturday evening which consisted of a five course meal. Everything about the evening was exceptional. The first course was bruschetta, followed by a refreshing fresh salad with lemon dressing. The main course was flank steak, cooked perfectly. This was followed by a cheese board with delectable cheese samples from local dairies. For dessert, they had an absolutely amazing home made vanilla ice cream. It was rich, creamy, and very tasty. We enjoyed it so much, that we immediately reserved a second dinner which had cider braised pork shoulder as the entree. Again, the meal was exceptional. It started with prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe. I've never had prosciutto sliced so thinly, it was tender and flavorful. This was followed by a butternut squash soup that was thick and rich. I didn't know butternut squash could be so flavorful. I cleaned my bowl so thoroughly that the host jokingly asked if they forgot to serve me. The pork was next. Served with honey crisp apples. It was tender and perfectly juicy. Again, a cheese board was served before dessert. All very tasty local cheeses. For dessert, a French apple tart. I could have eaten a whole tray, it was so good. I've now been there over 20 times. Every time has been exceptional. They offer a variety of wines, ciders, and local beer to go with your meal. They also make their own vermouth which is sweet, with a hint of clove. It's so good, in fact, that we like it on the rocks. Not mixed. The host, Mary Ann, is wonderful. She takes time before each course to provide background on the home grown or locally sourced ingredients. She also gives a history of the farm and her family and, if the season permits, offers a tour of their farm. Marc (Mary Ann's Husband) is the chef. He is a culinary wizard. As I mentioned, I've been back over 20 times, which equates to almost 80 different dishes. All of them amazing! My only criticism (it's a minor one) is that the room is small and cozy and it can get a bit loud inside. It depends on the crowd, but it can be a bit hard to carry a conversation. In summary: exceptional food and exceptional people. I could not recommend it more. Update (12/13/24): We've been coming back to Campo di Bella for the last 5 years. At least 60 times or more and we've never been disappointed. Marc and Mary Ann are incredible hosts that continue to create amazing meals and experiences.
