Located near Madision, we stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. The inside and outside offer so many seating options. They have games, food trucks, fire pits and live music. The outdoor seating overlooks a pond and was beautiful. After a few tasting samplings, we settled on a flight served on a Wisconsin state shaped board. We enjoyed all of the beers and seltzer we tried. My husband enjoyed the Lil Louie Lager and Badger Club and Kiwi Strawberry Selzer was refreshing and not too sweet. We will definately return.

We were here for a private party hosted by the UW Alumni Association. I am not sure we would have ventured here since it is a relatively long way from where we live and there are so many brewers and brewpubs around. We really enjoyed the spacious interior since it was unfortunately cold and blustery outside for late April. The outdoor space would have been great since it is a nice setting with fire pits, chairs, lawn games, and pond, etc. Perhaps we will stop again when on this side of town on a nice day to take in those features. We sampled a couple of beers the Lake Louie Pop. 834 pale ale - which was quite good and the Sandy Cheeks pineapple hefeweizen. I like hefeweizens so I was hesitant to order one with pineapple thinking it would be too fruity. In fact it was not and I really enjoyed it. There was food as part of this event but not sure if they usually have much to offer in that regard on a regular basis. The brewmasters talked gave us some history as part of this event and you really can tell they have a passion for their craft. Glad to have this crew of UW alumni really making a difference!

Great outdoor area to enjoy and the inside of the brewery was nice too. They have a great variety of beers, seltzers, and hard kombucha. I wish they had a little more in the way of nonalcoholic options besides standard sodas for kids and those not drinking.

First and foremost, the staff were so kind. I ordered the Sandy Cheeks which was perfect for someone who isn't a huge beer fan. I came with a few friends for trivia and it was full. They are dog friendly which is super fun. I brought my pup and she got so many pets, it was great. Overall just a fun place with a good selection of beers

    This lager is very good

I came here in a Saturday for a birthday party! Their tasting room has high ceiling and large beautiful windows that let in incredible natural Light! There were Adults of all ages, kids and even a few dogs. This place has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I tried a flight of beers and I liked every single one. Not sure if that has ever happened before. I take it as a very good sign! I am looking forward to visiting this place again. I heard they have a great patio in the summer! Oh winter why are you so long?

Great place to get together with friends and chat! Good beer selection for all taste buds. There is a merchandise store with great gear as well. Both indoor and outdoor areas are puppy friendly! They only sell drinks, but you are able to bring outside food. There are plenty of tables for you to eat at.

I had an opportunity to email ahead to verify their taproom hours with Sara who got back to me very quickly. When I stopped in I was impressed with how comfortable and spacious the environment was in the taproom. Both Sara and my bartender were very knowledgeable about their company and beer & helped set me up with my flight. There was a wide selection including their Lake Louie brand. I ended up leaving with brewery stickers (which I collect), a t-shirt (which I rarely buy when visiting breweries), and a growler of a seasonal dark wheat ale. Cool place to visit and very hospitable staff. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great amount of outdoor area including a bar and a music stage.

Impressed with the amount of outdoor area that's here. Kid and dog friendly. Wish I had more time to dig deeper. The one ipa That's on tap out side is good. I will be back.

Beautiful facility! Custom Adirondack chairs in the shape of Wisconsin, samplers for $6, cleverly named and tasty beers, lawn games, a fire pit, dogs allowed, gorgeous location? I like it. I love it. I want some more of it. I hold brewery tour to a high standard, but my friend and I did not go on it, so I have no comments there. It's worth a stop if you're in the area!

This is a rather late review but we came here at the end of October for a group birthday brewery crawl. Wisconsin Brewing Company was the last leg of our trip and it was a good way to end our journey. The bartenders are super friendly, letting you sample their vast collection of beers on tap and patiently describing each on to our entire group. We had tried to schedule a tour online but it was closed for a special event. However, when we arrived and told the bartenders of our predicament, they managed to find an employee to give us the guided tour! Some could say, a brewery tour is a brewery tour is a brewery tour. Yes, but! You can tell the enthusiasm from the staff here and the pride in their immaculate vats and equipment. We got to walk into their giant refrigerator. The entire plant and building is spotless. The tour probably lasted 45 minutes, mostly because our group kept asking questions and bantering back and forth. At the end, there is a little souvenir store with their merchandise, I really wanted the Wisco shaped cheeseboard! The special event was a wedding reception and the staff were handing out pieces of leftover wedding cake. There are high top chairs and tables you could sit, or lounge on their sofas. They do not serve food here, but are very dog friendly! I picture bringing the dog inside during the hot summer time after the dog park in the near future!

Do they serve anything besides beer? Heard they might have Mikes Hard Lemonade.

They have Mike's Hard Lemonade, Sprecher Sodas and the delicious ReFresh Radler, mentioned above, that appeals to many non beer drinkers. That beer style was developed by the Germans, who wanted a beer that they could drink while biking. Radler…

It was not busy when we arrived for an early dinner, and most of the staff congregated in and around a booth under a TV. You want a refill, more napkins, some parm & red pepper flakes for your pizza, or for dishes to be cleared away? Just look towards that TV and pray your server emerges. If there was a manager, I'd guess that's where they were hiding too. We ordered a hodge-podge of things since this would be our only chance to visit: spicy Hawaiian pizza, quesabirria, lamb lollipops, and charred carrots. The lamb and the quesabirria were the obvious standouts. Leagues above the other two items. They had so much flavor and were a delight to eat. The pizza did not taste like it came out of a wood-fired oven and was very heavy on the cheese (and that's saying something, coming from a couple of Wisconsinites). The carrots were nowhere near charred; the chunks were all vastly different sizes so not all of them were cooked, and they desperately needed that caramelization for depth of flavor.

The real excitement of this place is found in the upstairs and downstairs bar areas. The downstairs area is known as the Rathskeller which is like an old dank cellar, great for parties. The craft beers they make here are decent, but on the little on the tame side, although I would recommend their I-5 draught IPA. The wine and dessert menus are very limited, but I noticed that they do sell a cannabis infused seltzer. They do keep things interesting menu-wise with monthly specials and featured Dane deal specials. The food overall is on the 3 to 4 star level which is fine as long as you're expectations aren't too high. Everything's handled on the handheld device, including the final payment and tip. They have the right formula working for them, the food and prices are fair, the beer is decent and the service was attentive. 10 photos for more insight, including the menus and bill.

I had winning tickets from one of the machines inside the restaurant, but I am not from this area and was unfamiliar with their redemption process. When I handed her the tickets, she tried to throw them in the trash without asking me or explaining anything. I stopped her and told her they were winning tickets and that I wanted to redeem them. Instead of helping me, her attitude became rude and disrespectful. I asked for my tickets back because I no longer wanted her assistance. She then told me to step away from the bar, said I was not welcome in the restaurant, and threatened to call the police. I asked to speak with the manager so I could explain what had happened, but instead of allowing me to explain, I was repeatedly told to leave while the bartender continued threatening to call the police. I expected to be treated with courtesy and respect, especially since this was simply a misunderstanding that could have been been resolved with a polite explanation. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had, and I will not be returning.
