Hidden Lake belongs to the ducks. Even Schatzi the Münsterländer, a hunting dog we trained for use…read morein duck hunting, doesn't go after the ducks here. One day a duck flew over the lake, then in front of us, twisting in midair so its feet faced us then flew back to the lake and landed as if to say, hey I'm not afraid of you two. Odd creatures also abound here... I once saw what might have been a baby Sasquatch. When I run at Shoreview Park I enjoy tacking on a cool down to Hidden Lake to look for critters in the mornings and evenings.
