Pros - I love living here at Hidden Creek! it is a wonderful place to live. Roomy apartment with spectacular view of the horizon! I love my neighbors they are peaceful. Quick maintenance response. Beautiful place to live. Cons - Hallway carpet is stained and needs replacing. Valet trash missed pickups several evenings. Ambulance and police sirens are loud and windows don't have a good sound barrier for loud mufflers on cars. Cable fee should be optional not required. read more

Love the apartment love the team, Tiffany, Kim, J.P And Jamil, They are helpful and would do anything to make you feel you are at home. The club house very elegant and the gym open 24 hours, which is great. Outdoor Swimming pool, and they allow pets. I recommend them. read more

You pay extra every month for valet trash .People leave the trash out all day .There is no a/c in the hallways so all the trash smells disgusting like dirty diapers.I have now noticed roaches since the neighbors have had their apartments sprayed .You pay extra for parking in the garage .I assumed my car would be safe considering what they make off of parking fees .My vehicle has had items stolen and also my rims .Also a neighbors rims and tires stolen .The entire neighborhood surroundings are ghetto and thrash .You hear people all night outside yelling and fighting .Drunk people just hanging outside the 7-Eleven .Honestly I moved here for a better location and thought the price was high but would pay extra for a nice and safer apartment.Not the case .Please spend your money somewhere else. read more

I particularly enjoy the CARES program- the coordinators ( I think husband/wife) are really friendly and plan really awesome activities. I have nothing negitive to say. We spent half a year at the Whitney, starting our lease on Labour Day last Day in a 894 sq ft apartment. It was a most wonderful place to live, but again has its pros and cons. I stress that my review is reflective of Bozzuto Management NOT the currnet JAG management group. They changed in February right after we gave our 60 days notice so they are still getting to know things. HOWEVER, the office hours HAVE changed - instead of a nice extended hours from 9am to 7pm on Mondays and a shorter 9am to 5 pm, they have changed all Monday to Friday hours to 9am to 5pm. Pros: 1. Bozzuto Management: When we moved in, the apartment was outfitted with amentities and knowing that there were two of us moving in, they provided us to two sets of water bottles, two sets of snacks in the refrigerators and starting dish wash detergent, toiletries etc. They knew our apartment number and even gave us a phone call when we had BlueApron/Hello fresh boxes delivered to us. 2. CARES events every month: We had three different events every month ranging from dance lessons to free breakfast and holiday celebrations. It was amazing and brightened up our weekend 3. Separate cardio and equipment studios, including free weights and useful equipment 4. Parking garage - rate was discounted to $35 per month AND there's a stop at each level, meaning when you move in, you can fit a UHAUL cargo van at your level and not worry about reserving elevators. Normal price is $100 per month. 5. Spacious apartment - we had a very nice corner apartment that let in a lot of light. The hallways were always clean and the free lobby coffee machine uses real coffee beans instead of cheap prepackaged crap at other places. CONS: 1. Cost - You have to pay $100/month for an internet package regardless of whether or not you actually use the cable. Breaking your lease will require extra month rent and paying back all the "concessions," meaning the $65 "discount" you get on parking. Of note, the apartment was $300 per month more expensive = we had a $1524 per month rent. 2.The apartment is close to the MARC train tracks, meaning you will hear trains at all hours as well as ambulances etc. Otherwise, the apartment was nice and silent. No screaming running children. 3.The stairwell next to the garage does smell strongly of weed at certain times 4. Moths repeatedly appeared in our apartment constantly and we had no idea where the source is 5. The ceiling of the apartment vibrates at times. 6. The floor of the apartment was a bit slanted, meaning when a heavier person walks across the floor, the refrigerator shakes as well read more

I really enjoy this place. The movie theater, game room, and gym are lovely. Heidi has been such a pleasure to work with. I love the amenities and the size of the apartments as well as the community events that are held. The 7-eleven is very convenient and has am AMAZON locker inside(talk about happy). There's a bus stop right outside of the apartment for those who do not drive and Parking is extremely ENFORCED. read more

Property manager not effective. Had problems with neighbors above and nothing was accomplished, nor, effective action taken. Also, I had taken this up with Regional Manager and did not even get a response. Furthermore, I was screwed on my lease vacate agreement. Once we had decided to move out I agreed to pay the fine. Then I come to find out the apartment was rented the next day, thus no lag time between tenants. So why am I still being charged? I have never received an answer to this. Please somebody give me a logical answer. Sidenote: once old PM, JP, left everything went downhill. Also a lot of theft and juvenile delinquents that reside in apt complex. Horrible place to rent. Look elsewhere! When I was looking to rent this place out the leasing agent I was working with sold the place like it was the next best thing next to sliced bread. I had high expectations coming in especially since the rent for my 2br/2ba is over $2000. I was new to the area and the pictures online looked good. The tour was nice and the apartments look like they do online without all the paint and furnishings ok course. Once I moved in though, I realized that all that glitters is not gold. I had my car towed within the 1st month without notice. You would think one would be given a 24 hour notice to move a vehicle parked wrong. Meanwhile cars were illegally parked in the garage for days, even months- some even with flat tires, inoperable, double parked etc. On top of that, the towing company caused $1300 damage to my car during the towing process. The gate arm to the "secured" parking garage is broken at least a few times a month. The carpets in the hallways are filthy, stained and nasty and should be updated asap! Gym equipment is broken and not serviced in timely fashion. For the most part, the place is quiet but over the past 12 months I have been here, police have been called to the 7/11 which is housed in the same building as the apt complex. They have a valet trash service in which you just set your trash outside your door on trash days and designated workers dispose your trash for you, yet people dump trash in the stairwell. Can't wait to move out!!! For the amount of money they charge for rent you would think the place would be better than it is. Management has changed a few times since I moved in. They are all nice but the place just does not live up to expectations. Someone else mentioned that once JP left the place went to hell and I agree 100% with that assessment. read more

It's taken me a year to write this, but I feel it's important to identify that this property was delightful to live in, warm and inviting and one of the most unique floor plans I've seen in my almost 45 years of apartment living! Narissa and staff are genuinely interested in making certain their guest's lifestyle and needs are taken care of, regardless of the issues in the immediate neighborhood. I currently live here and have been here for about seven months. I wanted to wait to write this so it could be a well rounded review. We have had a few minor maintenance items that were all addressed quickly and professionally. We are as happy about living here as we did on day one and can't think of a thing to complain about. The community events that get hosted a few times a month are our favorite part. We have lived in 6 different apartment complexes in the last 10 years and this is by far our favorite. The front office staff has always been helpful and we have never had a bad experience. JP is leaving so we are hoping things stay the same after his departure as it is a great place to live. I have lived in three apartment complexes since moving to Gaithersburg seven years ago. I have lived at Hidden Creek for the last two years and it is by far my favorite. The office staff is wonderful. And the maintenance staff takes care of issues right away. Everyone who works there is very helpful and accommodating. My dog is in love with Heidi. She always has amble treats and makes time for a quick back scratch for all the dogs who come by the office. One morning while I was taking my dog for a walk, he spotted Heidi as she was coming into work. He was so excited to see her that practically attacked her (in a loving way of course) as she walked into the office. Needless to say, she gave him a treat first thing. She has an infectious laugh that can bring anyone out of a bad mood. They also do fun community events at least once a month. read more
