After they couldn't provide me with anything, I decided to restart the process in the United States. Instead of being blinded by the prospects of having a baby, I decided to research fertility clinics extensively. I decided to go to Emory, since they had the highest success rates and I felt comfortable speaking with the physicians. (I reached out to ACRM, Shady Grove Fertility, Pathways Fertility, and Reproductive Biology Associates too). The other places did not have a good selection of frozen embryos to choose from and they tried to charge extra money for using 3rd party organization donor eggs. Also, a few were very pushy and tried to offer unnecessary services that I knew were not recommended based on YouTube videos I watched online. Right now, I'm passed the 1st trimester and I want to share my review before the baby comes - and I won't have the time. I wanted to give a HUGE thanks to the Patient SRVS Coordinator Lorraine Smith-Richards, Nurse Clinician Stephanie Soloway, Nurse Laura Frings (very good at keeping me updated by calling and emailing), Dr. Heather Hipp, Dr. Audrey Marsidi (embryo transferor, which was successful on the first try), and Dr. James Toner for making this process possible. I absolutely loved Dr. Toner, since he was very responsive and easy to talk to. I'm really grateful for their team for making the process easy and successful on the first try!

The sign shows a different set of numbers but she's literally to the right of them so don't be alarmed where the gps takes you! Her front desk staff was so helpful! I mean gave me a full run down of what to expect for pricing cause she was out of network. That's the only downfall - she's out of network! But the quality of care is unmatched. I saw the reviews some said they had bad experiences and some said it was awesome like mine. I will say she takes Medicaid so most of her patience are probably not educated in their health and well being like some of us others. This may cause her to share more information or "instruction" causing an eyebrow raise. At first I was like why is she telling me all this like I'm a child? (Again first impression). Then I took a step back and realized, a lot of women have no clue of their Health or the system and she does! She's the expert so I listened closely. She addressed all my concerns and actually had real reasons and conclusions to some of the issues I did not receive resolution from from previous western doctors. I'm satisfied and will be going to her again!

I am due a refund (because my son decided to be born in my garage on the way to the birthing center). He was born in February and I have been given the runaround for months now. First no one answering the phone, leaving voicemail after voicemail and no one calls me back. Sending multiple emails. I got response that they put in a request for my refund but it's in process and they have no timeline when it will be sent. I believe it's been delayed because they are facing financial difficulties (evidenced by their own website posting they are moving to a "new" model for financial stability/long term sustainability). I am at the point where I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General's office and filing a civil suit in Fulton County Courts. VERY disappointing and sad when their staff are amazing people!!! Go to Northside instead!

As Dr.Tucker proceeds to talk about a hospital delivery, I stopped him and said I was birthing at home. Dr. Tucker then says "your gonna die at home, your baby is gonna die, your uterus is going to rupture, and you're going to bleed out." I told him I had a home birth previously, and he said, "So what, why did you even come here to this facility? I don't want anything to do with you, I don't want to assume all the risk only because I'm new to the area, and I'm 36 weeks pregnant. ".. Dr. TUCKER is the worst!! He made me feel so uncomfortable, and I had my daughter with me in the room, so she had to hear that, too. I was uncomfortable in my own body, I've never had a man yet alone a Doctor tell me that I'll die giving birth. I've had 3 healthy pregnancies, All full term and vaginally delivered with NO complications and this man literally just mind fucked me into doing a hospital birth where I can most likely die in the hands of him and others. I'll take my chances at home! If I can give NO star, I would. I would never go back to this facility. This is by far the most terrible service in the world!!

Only reason I keep coming back is for continuity of care and because it's black owned but today was the last straw. What type of gynecologist doesn't offer Gardasil vaccine in office? And they advertise numerous types of birth control on their website that they don't actually have. Maybe it's better if you're pregnant (wait time is still horrible) but for women's health this place should be ashamed. Dr. Samadar is nice once you wait hours to see her so if she had her own practice I might go.
