This is a beautiful facility. I wanted to take pictures but was afraid to ask. I feel like they may…read morewant the facility to remain private and special to its guest. But I will ask next time I visit. While meditation is a technique practiced mostly by Buddhist, its popularity has grown over the years due to the health benefits it brings. Nowadays many people who are not a part of the Buddhist community practice this form of mind decluttering. If you are into natural medicines I recommend checking them out https://meditationingeorgia.org. Meditation is known to alleviate stress, anxiety, improve your attention span and mental heath, and many more. What I like about Kadampa is that they offer a slew of class & events to enlighten you about the practice. Also, every Friday at 6:30pm they host a Free Meditation & Dinner Social event; every Saturdays at 8:00am they host Free Meditations in the Park-which is currently being held inside the facility due to the weather.

Thus, I guess, no better and worse. So, to tell you that this place is fabulous might be a bit anti-Buddhist. Good thing for you, I'm not far enough along my path to make those judgments. If you're looking for a safe and inviting place, that is, nonetheless, serious about Buddhist studies, this is a fantastic place. Sunday morning "classes" (they are not referred to as "services"), are open to anyone, and involve meditation, followed by a lesson offered by Gen Kelsang Mondrub is a close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Gen Mondrub is humble, often referencing his own challenges and fallibility, while offering wise, accessible, and inspirational lessons. A childrens' class is offered next door, offering genuine Buddhist teachings in a manner accessible to little ones (with time for coloring and arts and crafts thrown in, too.) Parents can stay with their children or go to the adult class. The center also runs the absolutely delightful vegetarian Buddhist cafe down the street-- the World Peace Cafe. But, as Buddha said, "Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense. "

ONE major thing you have to know about this place. The address on Yelp is not its physical…read morelocation, but the location of the mailbox the owner keeps. The owner for whatever reason doesn't want to know the location of the studio to the public except to clients. Basically, read the text message she sends, and it should be in Virginia-Highlands area. If you are going near Trader Joe's, you are in the wrong location. HOWEVER... I am giving 5 stars despite that inconvenience because of how amazing the massage experience is. I have been getting massages since I was a teen and Krista is probably the 2nd best massage I have ever received period. As someone who does a lot of sports stuff, I need regular massages monthly, and Krista just gave a magical healing experience.

I got a treatment from krista using sound therapy and vibration and while I'm still a little shocked that it helped, it HELPED SO MUCH! Almost immediately I could hold weight on that foot. It was a little incredible. Going into my appointment I really thought my session would be more therapeutic for the stress of not being able to walk anywhere, not actually address the "not being able to walk" part of it. I highly recommend Krista!

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, and what made it truly awful…read morewas how the owner, Britt, handled it afterward. The appointment itself was already a mess. My sister and I had scheduled 5:00 PM appointments, arrived early, and still waited over an hour before our IVs were even started, with only ONE other customer there. No communication, no check-ins, nothing. At one point my sister pressed the call button multiple times because she urgently needed to use the restroom and was literally stuck with an IV in her arm, and no one came for nearly 20 minutes. We didn't leave until 7:15 PM. Over two hours for something that should have taken about an hour. I was already sick and this experience made it worse. But honestly, the real issue is how Britt handled it after. Instead of taking accountability, she immediately jumped to excuses. She blamed "unforeseen circumstances," another guest, prep time, anything but her own business operations. Even when we clearly explained that we had scheduled appointments and there was only one other person there, she continued to deflect. Then came the communication issues, which were honestly shocking for a business owner. She ignored our emails for days at a time, pushed for phone calls but would only offer weekend availability even after we repeatedly said we were only available on weekdays, and then justified it by saying weekends were the only time she could talk because she has kids. While I can empathize with being busy, that is not the customer's responsibility to accommodate, especially when it is her business that failed. At one point, after a full week of no response, she replied to our availability with a single word: "Ok." That alone tells you everything you need to know about how seriously she takes her customers. She also tried to shift blame onto us, saying there may have been a "lack of communication" on our end and even questioning whether we actually pressed the call button, despite us clearly stating we did multiple times. Being told "our staff said that didn't happen" instead of addressing the issue is incredibly dismissive and unprofessional. And after all of this, she flat out refused a refund, stating "you both received the therapies you ordered" and ended the conversation with "I think it's time for us to move on." That is not how you treat paying customers, especially loyal ones. This was not just a bad appointment. It was a complete failure in customer care, accountability, and professionalism from the top down. I would strongly recommend going anywhere else.

I have never felt more dismissed by a business owner in my life…read more My sister and I booked 5:00 PM appointments and arrived early, only to sit there for over an hour before anything even started. There was just one other client in the entire place, yet no one checked on us, no one communicated what was going on, and we were left completely in the dark. Our IVs were not started until well after 6:00 PM. Once we were finally hooked up, the experience only got worse. I finished before my sister and urgently needed to use the restroom. I pressed the call button multiple times and waited nearly 20 minutes for someone to come remove my line. Being stuck in a chair, unable to move, and unable to get assistance is unacceptable in any setting, especially one that claims to be in the health and wellness space. We didn't leave until around 7:15 PM. What should have been a straightforward appointment turned into a two plus hour ordeal with zero care or urgency shown toward us. What makes this even more disappointing is that I have been going to Replenish for years and have spent hundreds of dollars there. Despite being a long-time, loyal customer, my complaint was not taken seriously in the end. But the most shocking part was dealing with Britt, the owner. Instead of taking responsibility, she immediately went into excuse mode. She blamed timing, another guest, prep work, anything she could think of. When we pushed back with the actual timeline and facts, she continued to deflect and downplay the situation. Her communication was incredibly unprofessional. She would disappear for days, then come back pushing for phone calls but only offering weekend availability, even though we clearly told her multiple times we were only available on weekdays. She justified this by explaining her personal schedule, which again, is not the customer's problem when we are trying to resolve an issue her business caused. At one point, after not responding for a week, she replied to our message with a single "Ok." I genuinely could not believe that came from a business owner. She also tried to turn the situation back on us, suggesting there was a "lack of communication" on our end and even questioning whether we had pressed the call button, which we did repeatedly. Being told that their staff "didn't hear it" instead of addressing the failure is incredibly dismissive. In the end, she refused to issue a refund and instead told us "you both received the therapies you ordered" and that she thinks "it's time for us to move on." That level of disregard for paying customers says everything. This experience was not just disappointing, it was handled poorly at every level, especially by the owner. Save your time and money and go somewhere that actually values its customers.
