It was hands down the worst dental experience I've had. I told her I require more numbing juice than most and she wouldn't give me any more after I was saying I was in pain. I alerted the assistant that I was in pain and the dentist kept going. The temporary crown fell off two days after it was put on and the permanent doesn't fit my night guard that I wear. Ever since this procedure that side of my mouth has been painful to chew on. Makes me wonder if I actually needed the procedure or if they needed the money, it wasnt cheap. It didn't hurt at all, and my gum wasn't even sore afterward! I visited this office earlier this year to have a gum issue checked out. It was swollen and they…read morewere able to squeeze me in quickly. When I got there they did all the X-rays, poked the gum, and then the resulting dentist came in and looked at my mouth for less than 10 seconds. He declared that we should remove the tooth, and then declared I had 3 cavities as well. They did not tell me to do a salt wash and see if the gum irritation cleared up, nor did they say to take any medication. In my shock, I scheduled a follow up to remove the tooth and fill in my new cavities. Then I got home and did some research. I did a salt wash for two days and the swollen gum went down to normal. Then I booked a secondary opinion appt at another dentist. Once again did the whole X-ray and other checks. Not a single cavity, nor did they think the tooth should be removed. Horizon is unprofessional and took advantage of an urgent situation. I cancelled all appts and moved onto another dentist. I highly recommend you consider before moving forward on anything with them.
