I sent some idea photos and what I got was beyond perfect. Simple. Lovely. Perfect. THEN I ate the cake! A vanilla cake. Like what can you expect but OMG! It's a vanilla like I've never had. This is stab your granny for the recipe good! Honest! My hubby has NO sweet tooth but he gorged this down like a starving man eating slabs! It became a competition of who can eat more before it's gone! And now--well Everytime we are up we get a small cake and indulge. For our mains, I ordered the meat lasagna it definitely did not disappoint, using that same fantastic, flavorful meat as the appetizer. My youngest daughter had the stuffed shells, and my oldest thoroughly enjoyed the chicken Parm special. The highlight of the meal was the dessert sampler. It sparked a lively debate across the table on which was the best. The consensus put the tiramisu in first place, closely followed by the sea salt caramel gelato, though the cannoli was also delicious. Getting the combo was the perfect choice because it allowed us to try a little bit of everything. No - they don't have a pasta machine. ok - so I thought my bad for assuming the pasta market would have great pasta. Sauce - salty, I'm assuming canned. No fresh saved parm - and 1/2 the bowl was full of water. The few bites I had was not great. Was not asked why I did not eat it and was not asked if I wanted to take it home. $18 for 15 min and a bad lunch . I wish I could have been blown away here since I'm up here at least 2-3 times a month and I love my local places.

I appreciated that they said that up front. As anyone with hangry kids knows, sitting and waiting awhile for food can be so much fun. We had snacks and in-laws willing to wait to save any meltdowns. My wife got the regular burger and fries while I got the Bacon Pimento (house made) Cheeseburger with tots and some jalapeños. It was delicious. I wish I could have asked for it more rare but it was cooked "well" but nothing close to dry. The bacon was also crispy, which made me happy, because no one wants limp bacon on their burger or bizkit...The pimento cheese was the real winner and I could get extra on the side or to take home. This is another hidden gem that just popped up in blue ridge…read more It's hidden in the back near Tupelo tea. The owners are super dog friendly and want your furry friend to be included in your adventure. It's an open covered patio to have a nice lunch or dinner. The inside is super cute and dog inspired. The staff is great and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with our choices. Overall the food had great flavor and would absolutely come back and have another lunch here!
