First of all I'm going to start this review by saying I have never written a negative review in my life, but alas today is the day. My large family has eaten at hideaway since opening day and consistently the food is amazing but the service is terrible. It's so consistently bad that my kids joke that we always get something free because something always goes wrong or it takes 2 hours to receive our food, but tonight was the last straw. We went on a Monday night so the place wasn't busy at all. Took 20 minutes for a waitress to take our drink order despite four waitresses walking around avoiding eye contact, and I know sections and all that but..... we even watched one waitress just making figure 8's around empty tables. Drinks delivered promptly and appetizers about 30 minutes later. Still pretty standard hideaway service. Food ordered and this is where things go downhill. Husband and kids ordered pizza and I ordered the lasagna. Pizza is delivered within 45 minutes, but no lasagna. A few minutes later I am informed that the lasagna was never put in. She can put it in now and reduce the price, but at this point my whole family has devoured most of their pizza and nearing fullness. I decline. No refills given until the very end of the meal. Waitress left table as quickly as possible on the three times she came by. If you have HOURS to sit and wait for food that may or may not come then this is the place for you! read more

It is not possible to speak highly enough of this pizza. Some of the best I have ever had, as a bit of a pizza connoisseur. The pepperoni-pol-ooza is top 5 slices of all time for me. The crush had the perfect amount of chewy goodness and the various textures of different pepperonis combined with the zesty sauce make it absolute perfection. Traveling through and we needed stop for dinner. We were pleased with the appearance of the establishment and surrounding area. The staff was friendly, prompt, and helpful with suggestions regarding the menu. Our waitress, Jenessa, never had to be asked for refills. She placed a glass of beverage when our cups were half full. The kitchen mistakenly prepared my husband's pizza with hand tossed crust. The error was discovered before it had left the kitchen. Our waitress brought the first pizza to our table with the rest of our order. She told us another pizza was cooking and would be out shortly. Coming from an area with limited options, it's worth the cost to have good food and excellent service. Definitely will be making the stop if ever this way in the future. read more

We had pizza and fried pickles to go. We really enjoyed the pizza --although it was not filling for the price we paid. We don't think this was the fault of the restaurant but our fault. We assumed that If we paid over $20 something dollars- it would not be a small pizza. It was SMALL. We had to finish our meal by ordering Dominoes and getting a more filling meal. Next time, we will pay more attention to the portion size. The fried pickles were doughy and heavy. They were not good at all. We do not recommend the pickles! read more

I worked at Hideaway for a month and a half and got treated poorly from management, I got fired because I wasn't doing my tasks right even though I hadn't even got done with all my training. Also, I made some mistakes in my employment as well but apparently everyone has to be perfect and have no mistakes when they work. We had dinner there tonight at the suggestion of our friends from Spiro. The pizza was some of the best I have ever had. Pizza of the Gods with the olive oil sauce and marinara plus added pepperoni. It was absolutely delicious! The server was wonderful. I believe Alena or something similarS. he was the best! We got a treat at the end that was unexpected and delivered by the manager. I must say we felt very special and will come back every time we visit! Love being here as the people are so nice! Southern hospitality warms my heart. We were in a group of 5, and told it would be an hour wait. We were fine to wait an hour even with my 5 and 8 year old daughter. But the problem I did have was that we watched other large groups talk to the woman at the podium and be seated before us...even though they arrived after us. I asked if they take reservations, and Tori (manager on her nametag) told me no. Then she said anyone seated before me was a group of 4 or less at a booth. False. Then she told me that they ALL probably were here before us. No. They weren't. Then she suggested that maybe they had all checked in through the Yelp app to join the waitlist before they arrived. Intimidating array of pizza choices. Abundant appetizer selections, we tried the fried ravioli. Pretty good... could have been hotter. Servers/food runners need to bring serving plates and utensils upon taking the order or delivering an appetizer. So while awaiting serving plates, etc and my ravioli getting cold, our pizzas we delivered. Luckily, the former came without the pizzas getting cold as well. The Sicilian was good. I have been craving a tasty pizza just build with savory sauce, great dough, saucy sauce and condiments at its finest with toppings that combine together and I found it. We gave it a first try on Tulsa but the chef or chefs did not want to bake or cook. This chef or chefs made it and even though it was busy. Yes I was disappointed there weren't any wings I was looking forward to this but it's okay we shall come early for that. The raviolis were so good the way the cheese separated once you torn it apart and the crisp frm the outside plus the tomato sauce tip uff shall I describe it more. The scenery of the place was very clean, sporty organized happy chill vibing in everything kids adults and there drinks it was very nice place. It made me want to enjoy the pizza with a tall glass of cold brew and talking and sport view with my people. We ordered two mediums and were a group of 3 adults 1 teen and 1 infant and we made it we got left overs too. I cannot wait to go and try the other pizzas on the menu and those wings. read more

It's a fantastic pizza joint. Our table ordered for starters the stuffed mushrooms and the Octoberfest pretzel with mustard. The mushrooms were divine I think we all agree that we could have lifted that pan and just scooped them in our pie hole. They were cheesy goodness. The pretzel had a very nice crunch with a chewy center. Perfect. Pizzas that were ordered were Farmers Market and ATW. Pizza crust had just the right crunch, toppings on both were fresh with the right flavor combinations. Ours particularly was the Farmers Market. I will be back to reorder this one, we had them bring a side of olive oil to top off ours as this is our preference. Great job Fort Smith for bringing a good quality pizza establishment to the area. read more

I have been a fan of Hideaway Pizza since the day I first tasted it in 1967. I was not disappointed by their new restaurant in Fort Smith. I was so happy to see the kites suspended from the ceiling and the large photo of the original Stillwater VW bug delivery cars. The only thing I missed from the old days was the Pente and the slightly old pizzeria hangout atmosphere of old. However, the food selections had greatly expanded to include even cauliflower crust and so many toppings that we had a hard time deciding what to eat. We finally decided on 5 selections: fried mushrooms, mozzarella cheese sticks, a meatball hoagie, a small da bomb on thin crust with no dairy and a pepperoni with added green peppers and hand tossed crust. The server brought out out appetizers very quickly, each served with ranch and marina. So yummy! The breading on the mushrooms was just right and delicious. The cheese sticks disappeared without a trace before I could get one. Remarks about them was how extra creamy they were. Just as we were finishing the apps, the food came out. The sandwich was huge with really good meatballs and lots of sauce. The special da bomb was reported as great, especially the balsamic drizzle. The pepperoni and green pepper pizza was brought out last and apologetic remarks were made for the lack of peppers. The serve told us it was already decided that they would make a new one and to go ahead and eat the first one. We were really surprised by that. Yes, the green peppers were sparse, but we probably wouldn't have made a big deal about it. What great service and quality control. In all, our experience was A+ for the food, the service and, of course, the location (about a mile from my house). On the way home, my daughter remarked how she hadn't expected to like it since the other tenants of that building was just kind of blah. Now, I think we must dig out our old black tube Pente game tonight to make it complete. Warming up left over pizza now. read more

Tuesday was my first time here and I wasn't impressed. First off, we waited an hour for our food... which was pretty good, but a bit pricey in my opinion. After everyone finished, we waited FOREVER for our checks. When the waiter finally brought them out and left, we waited even longer for him to come back to run our cards. Over half the people in my group finally gave up and paid with cash and coins so they could leave (we had been here almost TWO HOURS now, and some of us had to get back to work). We had to call another waitress over to help us find our waiter who had just disappeared for nearly 30 minutes! Overall, not happy with the service. We arrived with a 35/40 minute wait..which we were ok with that since it was our first time there. We were finally seated and noticed it was soooo cold and the ceiling fans were on full blast...we asked if they could turn the fan off above our table and they did--but it turned off the row of fans. I should also state we were not in the main dining room but on the outside enclosed with windows/doors all around us. Other people started complaining that the fans were turned off so the manager left the fans off but turned the AC down to 50... My kids were freezing and whinny...my husband was even cold (and he NEVER gets cold )..but the bad thing about this whole review was our Pizzas were cold within 2 minutes of being served at our table...So needless to say we wasted our $62. At that point we said we would never come here again and we would tell anyone who ask if we have ate here yet. read more
