Been eating at Hideaway for over 40 years (since college at OSU in Stillwater). Never, NEVER, had a bad meal! I've eaten at the Cherry Street restaurant as well as Tulsa Hills. Both are great. We usually start with an order of stuffed mushrooms, followed by a Just A Beginner salad and then order a thin crust 1/2 Pizza of the Gods/1/2 The Boz with anchovies!. Outstanding. On top of that the beer comes in a frosted goblet and is some of the coldest beer you'll ever have. I'm about ready to shut the computer down and go get me some. There are also lunch specials (salad, pasta) which is also excellent. Service is outstanding. Way to go, Hideaway! read more

Thin crust, tons of veggies, double cut, balsamic glaze is the way to go. Or family pizza nights always include hideaway pizza.

The food was good but the service was horrible. Once we ordered it took 40 minutes to get our food. Then it took forever to get our check and and guy kept forgetting our boxes. We ended up leaving without our pizza because by that point we were there for 2 hours with 4 kids. read more

Hideaway is one of the rare restaurants that maintains its standard of quality as it expands. I think I've been to 6 or 7 locations, including the original but primarily the one in Norman. This was my first visit to the Tulsa Hills location. We got our pizza to go, but the restaurant was humming on a Friday night. We were greeted immediately (we'd called our order in) and didn't have to wait long. When the food arrived home (only a few minutes away), it was still HOT. Clearly it was all freshly made. The fried pickles weren't soggy in the least, they were crispy, the breading wasn't too thick, and they were actually seasoned. They went really well with the slightly spicy dipping sauce. I think these were better than the last time I had fried pickles at the Norman location. Very strong appetizer. To eat, the kids got a half pepperoni half cheese pizza. The adults had a half Boz half Tulsa Hurricane. The pizzas were likewise hot when we arrived at home. The Boz is loaded with bacon, sausage, pepperoni, bell pepper and jalapeno. The crust was good, slightly crunchy on the exterior. The Tulsa Hurricane I'd not had, it includes pineapple, chicken, bell peppers and jalapeno. This may seem like an odd combination to some, but it really worked. Not nearly as heavy as the Boz, but still very flavorful. I would order both pizzas again. As noted above, in my experience thus far, you are not going to see a decrease in quality no matter which Hideaway you hit up. I recommend this location, as I do with all Hideaways I've tried. read more

Growing up near Stillwater I always heard great things about Hideaway pizza. It took me 28 years before I tried it for myself. It was a really great experience! I love all the different combinations they've put together and I plan on going back to try several of them! The decor was fun to look at and the huge globe in the middle of the restaurant was the highlight of my second trip, even though I didn't even notice it during our first trip! The girlfriend and I got fed up with another place giving us inconsistent pizza and I made the recommendation to hit up an old friend by the name of Hideaway Pizza. Tulsa has a ton of really good pizza places so it's easy to take this place for granted, however Hideaway is an easy recommend for someone visiting the Tulsa area no matter what part of the city they are staying in. This location in particular has won us over with their consistent quality and quick turn around time. We usually carry out, but the dine in service is great when you are in the mood for pizza and cold beers (served in a frozen schooner glass as it should be). If you are new to Tulsa or just haven't visited Hideaway in a while, do yourself a favor and make the visit. I would recommend just about anything on the thin crust, but then again their regular crust is good too. Just try it all! read more

Truly an unbelievably terrible experience. Although the pizza was good, the customer service was embarrassing, rude, and completely disrespectful. Our waiter's behavior towards us was appalling, and every time he was upset it was upon his own wrong-doing. I genuinely would not wish this horrible dine-in experience upon my worst enemy. The epitome of a 0/10. Gross. Our waiters name was Jay, so I am told. If this is correct, Jay does not deserve to be working in this industry, he may be better served doing something that doesn't require being a decent behaved human. read more

Our Son and Grandson bring us a slice of Pepperoni with Bacon every chance they get...usually once a week! LOL Sometimes they bring us fried mushrooms!!! YUMMMMM Very spicy and Yummy! I will always feel the Stillwater Hideaway is the best, but this is one of our favorites. It is always good. The service has been good every time we are here. The garlic knots are hot, buttery, and just wonderful. We have had the fried mushrooms, and the Caprese appetizers and would recommend both. My favorite is the Mob Boss, we also love the Big Country, Sicilian, and of course the kids like plain ol cheese. I also like getting half Hideaway Special and letting the girls get what ever they want on their side. read more

I used to eat at hideaway at least 3 sometimes 4 times a month. They had awesome pizza. It was a little pricey, but for the pizza, it was worth it. It was just that good. Over the last couple of months, something has changed. We noticed something was different. We couldn't really put our finger on it. We just knew something was a little off. Fast forward to last Friday night. The pizza we got was nowhere close to acceptable. There was almost no red sauce, I am talking I had to search for it. It was also baked where the cheese was cooked first, then the veggies we put on. I don't even know how that would be possible. It looked like it was a redo pizza. A redo pizza is where they don't sell one and it not really an exact match to the one you ordered. Guess what pizza you get. So I suspect this is what happened, we got a redo pizza It I could give it zero star I would, and I urge people to check their pizza before you leave. I will NOT BE RETURNING TO THE TULSA HILLS LOCATION. THE PIZZA I RECEIVED WAS TERRIBLE. read more

Sheesh. Write a book why don...oh....right. Well, Hideaway is semi-local. Which is a politician's way of saying, "it's from around here and I want to be liked so I'm going to say as many non-threatening things as I can to make me seem likable and keep me in office..." where was I going with this, anyway? Um, here's the deal...Hideaway makes great pizza. The kite thing is done, but I get it....it's an identity. But, overall, you're gonna have a good experience. This ain't Cheezies. For the price, you will leave happier and satisfied than when you walked in. Don't stiff your waiter, they always seem to hire nice people here. read more

Had a great visit here yesterday! I'm in a wheelchair & before we even got to the sidewalk, 2 employees came out to hold the doors open. We were greeted from a very friendly staff. The restaurant was super clean! The food was very very good!! Fried Raviolis were very good! The in betweener salad was so refreshing & good, I'm craving another! My main dish was chicken alfredo with garlic bread, so good! I had enough left to take home for dinner, even reheated it was really good! I will definitely be back any chance I get! read more

Love Hideaway, this location, not so much. Service was off, to say the least. Brought us incorrect beer, salads with no forks and announced they were out. 10 minutes later, still no fork. 15 minutes later the pizza arrives, still no forks and untouched salads on the table. Waitress was not happy when I kindly asked for them to take the salad back and remove it from the bill. Now we have pizza but no forks, or plates, or napkins. All around us people are vocally complaining about the same thing or incorrectly made orders. Thankfully the pizza was right and good and we ate and got out. I have been here a couple of times but I think today has been the best service we have ever gotten. Jeff was our server and he was very attentive even though he had a couple of tables to attend to. The food came out quickly and of course, it never disappoints! We started out with our favorite, the garlic bread, toasted to perfection, and then our pizza followed quickly. We got half double sausage, and I got the margherita pizza. They do have a unique way of cleaning up, but other than that, it was and has always been a great experience! read more

My family and I enjoy the food that we had. The fried mushroom, Pesto Bruschetta,Alfredo Deluxe(could't stop eating this),and the Hideaway Special(which is half veggie and half meat) all was just yummy and wonderful. Was in town for a wedding and saw this place. The service was amazing and the pizza was top notch. Was very glad to read the amazing story of the restaurant on the back of the menu. We came in and was rated immediately and was greeted by our waiter. The staff in general looked like they were fresh out of high school or just working for the summer. Our server was a little hard to understand and was very soft spoken. But that would my only complaint as he was also very courteous and helpful. The pizza tasted pretty good, however the overall experience was abysmal. Originally we were brought wings that belonged to another member of our party. That issue was never fixed. One female waitress had the attitude of a hungry toddler. That issue was never fixed. Our male waiter was incompetent. That issue was never fixed. The main part of the negative aspect of this review is our waiter, Jay. Jay seemed to have absolutely no F***king clue what he was doing, was completely unable to split an order, and placed my receipt in the grease of an empty pizza pan. He then proceeded to use my card to pay for another order because his miniature brain can't comprehend how to split an order. Lastly, as he was bringing out the rest of the bills, a few of our party members were conversing and he deemed it appropriate to, instead of wait like a SERVer, he exclaimed for us to quiet down, saying "Come on guys!" This genuinely was one of the worst experiences I've had on a basketball trip, and I've been on the wrong end of an overtime loss in the state championship. read more

I visited your Tulsa hills location this evening and disappointed would be an upgrade to the satisfaction of service and quality of food I received. The manager was rude and unconcerned for my satisfaction and the waiter to say the least was incompetent. It was not at peak times rather was at 9 pm. I have been eating at hideaway since your company has come to Tulsa and I am highly disappointed and will never return to this location as long as the management staff will allow such an awful experience. read more

This is my favorite pizza spot in Tulsa. You simply must try the "mob boss" pizza. They also have delicious fried mushrooms, and a few really good craft beers. I have never had a bad experience here. read more

I'm in Tulsa on business and decided to eat here tonight. The pizza was pretty good. I got the ATW pizza, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It did have more olives than I'd like, but that's just personal preference. The sauce is really good, and the crust was excellent. We ordered a thin crust but we received the hand tossed (which I'm secretly thankful for). Next time I'm in the area and have a hankering for pizza I'll have to remember this place. read more

We stopped through on our drive back to Dallas from Kansas. The pizza was comparable to Pizza Hut quality - passable, but not what you want from a sit-down pizza restaurant that isn't Pizza Hut. Definitely not great and if I lived in Tulsa, I wouldn't go back. The place was packed on Sunday at lunchtime, though, so apparently other people like the place just fine. The pizzas here are outstanding. It has become out family's favorite place for pizza. Dine in or carry out the quality is always the same. My favorite is the Cimarron made with Alfredo sauce. It has Jalepenos and asiago cheese. Absolutely wonderful. The ATW is also very good. read more

We visited Hideaway yesterday for lunch. There were four of us, and we were in and out in less than an hour. We ordered two pizzas and a sandwich. It was delicious and a fun atmosphere.
