Love their pizza, and their service. Nice to have an independent pizza place near home!!

We stopped in to get some sandwiches to go. There was only one woman working and she was trying to make pizzas for the small buffet, take orders, make sandwiches, and expedite. We ordered a large ham and cheese and a small Italian. Know that the large is ginormous and could easily be split. My small sandwich was plenty and I would order the Italian again. It's more like a pizza sandwich. (Sandwiches can be ordered on rolls or flat bread.) It took about 20 minutes to get our to go order. There are no fountain drinks, just cans and bottles out of a cooler. It's a small restaurant but cozy and homey. I would return to try one of their pizzas or pastas. read more

Would like to come back and try the pizza. Buffet was super small but we ordered sandwiches to go. I got the large ham and cheese and should have just got a small. It was huge! Sandwich was toasted. Drinks are available out of a small fridge (cans and bottles only). Interesting place right next to Boomerang. read more

Stopped in to pick up 2 large pizzas. I used to frequently get pizza here. I ordered one large cheese and one AJ's specialty supreme pizza. Spent 45$. I noticed it is updated since the last time I came in. A new owner took over his brothers business who moved away. This owner said he put a lot of updates in and is about to move locations to the old Pizza Hut in Catoosa. Be watching for this potential new location. If you want great quality ingredients, support this family owned pizza place. Same fresh ingredient's and much nicer atmosphere. It is a little pricey but the quality is worth it to me. read more

This is the best pizza in a 30 mile radius. They use real cheese and make their own crust. We are regular customers and we recommend A.J.'s to everyone that stops by our home. read more

Had dinner here with some friends and we all loved it. The pizza had a great balance of sauce and toppings. The crust could have been a little crispier but overall it was really tasty. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Great place for a relaxed meal. read more

Holy Moly! My husband just brought home lunch and WOW! I tried The Works sandwich for the first time, it is now my absolute favorite sandwich ever! Every bite was nicely rounded with all the flavor combinations. The bread just topped it all off, loved that it was more of a panini instead of a "sub" style. The we got to the Cinnamon Bread . We are from out of state and we're told we HAD to stop here. The pizza was great... However I was turned off because there were literal bugs (beetles, specifically) crawling over the walls next to our table. Elected to move to seats in the middle to avoid the bugs. read more

Pluses: their pizza, wings and bread is good, nice mom and pop place (good to support the locals) Minuses: too expensive! Being from Chicago I tend to be a pizza snob... keep that in mind as you read my review. We are new to the area and are trying all of the local pizza places. This was pretty decent pizza. It was on the expensive side but it's a mom and pop joint so I get it and have no problem supporting that. The staff were super friendly, very kind, and respectful. I'll pay extra to support nice people... that's what you have here. Also, the pizza was decent. Lots of cheese, good sauce, nice chewy crust. We got the cheese bead sticks with marinara sauce as a side... also really tasty. The best pizza you will ever have get the mini the crust is superb.. when I first went aj or whom ever the guy is said their 2 $5 lunch statues are a mini with a drink or a small with no drink I've gotten the mini with a drink several times. Went in the other day and some lady was there and told me there's no such deal that comes with a drink and was beyond rude so I said fine whatever and when the food come out she brought me out a small and charged my friend 11 for his instead of 5 I told her hey I wanted a mini she laughed and said that's a kids pizza. But it still doesn't come with a drink went back the next day and he said you want the special mini that comes with a drink. Long story short don't go when she's there. Our favorites are the pizza, subs and anti pasta salad. The sauce on the pizza is so good! Good prices and very nice owners.

I have have been ordering from here since the early '90 Ajs has always been great. Super nice service, but the new owner is anything but Heavenly, He seems so put out by any order you place over the phone and this has happened several times and have even spoken to him about this. Also I just watched him give me change back out of the register wearing gloves and then walks right over and starts making a pizza without even changing gloves, now I have never thought of this place being like this but if he does this once you know he does it all the time. I really hate that this is what AJs has come to over the years but I guess it has. read more
