This place is right near sendiks in whitefish bay. I parked on the street. Not sure if there was customer parking but there was plenty of street parking. I book my appointment via their website and had no issues. If you're new it doesn't hurt to arrive a few minutes early to complete new client paperwork. There's a waiting area inside to the right when you walk in and then you are taken upstairs. It was my first time here and my aesthetician was amazing and very nice. I will definitely be going back here. Plus they sell products for after your service. Amazing sugar scrubs that are made in house too. read more

No parking, no signage, hard to find if it's your first time. No one mentioned any of this and it took me an extra 7 minutes to find the place. I walked up the stairs to the office and there were 5 women who didn't say a word about the location and watched me walk around for another 5 minutes trying to find the place.They told me they couldn't do my appointment because they booked back to back appointments after watching me search for the location. Front desk person (Lucy I think) knew it was my first time and didn't share that there were back to back appointments or how to find the location. I was introduced to the salon by a friend who goes there regularly - she recommended that I see Amanda, but I found a groupon deal for new clients and scheduled an appointment with Monica instead. TOTALLY worth it! She did a great job and I felt comfortable throughout the duration of the appointment. Anytime I'm home I go to High Brow for a brazilian. I've always been really happy with the service there starting with the warm welcome and right down to the quality of the aestheticians. Both of the women I've had appointments with are so obviously knowledgable about their field and adjust the service they give accordingly. As someone with sensitive skin, I really appreciate that attention to detail. My only gripe is the cost of a Brazilian. Being someone that lives in DC (where everything is really expensive) my heart skipped a beat at the final bill of my Brazilian that was $20 more than I normally get back home, and pay a hefty price for that as well. read more

So far, so good. I decided I'd revert to an eyebrow wax because I couldn't find nearby threading places. Met with Dana and she was great. I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay for the "Ultimate Brow" service on my over-plucked/threaded eyebrows. Dana explained what the service included, and even showed me the tool they use. I decided I should continue to grow my eyebrows out and she did NOT sigh or try to convince me to pay for the more expensive service. My brows are thinner than I'm used to BUT. 1) I told her I trust her and to do her thing and 2) they look great. So no complaints. Go to DANA. As someone with invisible eyebrows (not an exaggeration) I've spent most of my life ignoring them. When I finally decided to get some brow help, I decided to try High Brow for my first-ever waxing experience. I booked the Ultimate Brow with Shannon and she showed me where the brows should align according to my facial features. She was very helpful to a noobie like myself, talking me through the process and asking along the way what my preferences were. She also used a specific wax when I told her I have sensitive skin, and I'm happy to report the redness subsided quickly. The main reason I booked the Ultimate Brow was to see how a professional would fill in my brows--which is necessary, if I want to be able to see them--and the overview was very helpful. I loved the way they looked. Shannon and the girl working at the front desk were both great in explaining the pros and cons of the products used on my brows, without ever being pushy or aggressive about making the sale, which I really appreciated. I did end up buying the Billion Dollar Brow powder, and on day one, I can say I'm happy with it. I'll definitely be back the next time I need some maintenance! It's cozy but not cramped and they offer you beverages while you wait (fruit-infused water? Yes please!). Now let's get down to the actual wax- I highly recommend Stefanie or Cora. These 2 ladies are quick, efficient, and make you feel completely comfortable.
