I explicitly mentioned that if this was a problem, I would not be offended if they passed on my request. I received a quote the next day (Sat) saying the COI would not be a problem. On Monday, I received another message asking to schedule the service before the COI. I was told I would have the COI shortly. Two weeks later and no COI, I remind the person who reached out to me via e-mail. I'm told I will have the COI in a day or so. I was also told my request for a COI was pushed back to accommodate work for a large company who shall remain nameless in this review. It's now three weeks since my original quote, and no COI, hence no solar panel cleaning. I'm done. If they didn't want my business - and as I said, no offense taken if that was the case - I would have appreciated not having my time wasted from the start. My panels could have been cleaned by now if I selected another company. Encourage others to go elsewhere. Update after the owner's response: I appreciate Rosalie's comments below, but I'd also like to add my own "if you are reading this" clarification to Rosalie's misrepresentation below where I am being blamed for saying "no rush." I did in fact mention that I was in "no hurry" to get the job done at the start. I own this. This was done as a courtesy, and I assure you I will never make that mistake again thanks to America's Solar. However, Rosalie's husband, John, did not get back to me after two weeks from the initial inquiry. Two weeks. I had to reach out to get an update. Then, John said he "should be able to get me the COI in the next day" (slightly paraphrased from a typo in his original message.) He did not reach out with an update if he had encountered any further delays. After four more days, I realized I wasn't a priority and my panels weren't getting cleaned by them ever. "I'm no rush" doesn't mean "Walk all over me," Rosalie. It's a courtesy to let you (or your husband) set the timeline and meet it! it doesn't get much easier than that, and you somehow fail to grasp that. It was *never* mentioned that insurance was being renewed. Much to the contrary, the reason for the delay was **explicitly** explained as "finishing a big job for Company X", where the highly recognizable company name was spelled out to me. If you are reading this and a business owner, think of whether or not you want John mentioning your company name as a client to others. I wonder how Company X would feel if they found out their name was being thrown around freely. Most large organizations make their vendors sign nondisclosure agreements. I've also had to get COI's for my start-up employer in the past, and we were on the bottom of the totem pole at our insurance agent. I've also had to get multiple at the same time. It's never taken me no longer than 72 business hours. Go ahead, blame the customer again, Rosalie.

I am getting a bit tired of writing five-star reviews for Five Star! LOL I have lost count often…read morehow many times I've used them. Yesterday it was for window washing (1st time) and power washing (2nd time). Fast and good work as always! Donnie always gives me a fair price and was willing to work with me when bundling services. No, he's not the cheapest, but 1) you get what you pay for, and 2) he gets it done ASAP--I called another company before just for a comparison quote, and they said it would be two weeks before they could do it--Five Star came in under two days! I would deduct a quarter star only because they forgot to mention they accidentally broke one of the outer window trims on a garage window --it was very brittle from facing the dry afternoon sun for 20 years, so I completely understand; just wish they had mentioned it. I added that quarter star back because upon arrival, Jerry the foreman pointed out that one of the front screens was busted from age/sun and offered to replace it for a great price--important when selling a house! For many years, I have used Five Star for gutter cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, screen replacement, outdoor window cleaning and power washing--and they're just as good as ever. Thanks!

I've had them out for years- twice or more for cleaning gutters- and now, finally, for cleaning my windows and sun screens. The windows were cleaned inside and out. The screens were removed, washed, dried, and conditioned to make them nice and shiny again. I had never had my windows professionally cleaned before I had been wanting to hire Five Star Window And Gutter cleaners for it for years. I finally treated myself to this service and, wow, am I happy with it! I am a loyal customer for two of their services now!!

I have been on the fence about getting our concrete power washed again. It was done about 2 years…read moreago so it wasn't horrible but there were areas that slightly bothered me. Even though we have a power washer, we have been so busy. All of a sudden, I start to see these ads for exterior cleaning on my social media feed. For about a month, their reels kept popping up and the content was great so I let them continue to show up. Then I looked them on google to see if the customer satisfaction matched and many happy reviews were a good sign. In the times we live in, you have too many options to choose from. Usually, I shop around but I just happened to be lucky this week and Alex and Alina were very close by and they came by within 3 hours of my DM. I told them I'd get back to them since I wasn't sure if I was needing a major refresh just yet. Anyways, that interaction went well and they were so nice and didn't pressure me into anything at all so it didn't take much time for me to text her back and ask when their next availability was. From the moment they replied to my message, Alina and Alex showed up to my door with an estimate and refreshed my entire space within less than 3 days. Alina and Alex were very kind and professional - I was given a courtesy reminder and they showed up on time. Alina sent me a bunch of photos when they completed the job and she does a great job at sharing their work as they are in action. They make a great team and I highly recommend them for any exterior cleaning you may need. We got our driveways, walkway, porch, stepping stones, retaining wall and backyard patio done. Once I need my windows or gutters done, I'll definitely give them a call. Thanks again for stopping by today and wish you both the best!

I found them on Yelp, reached out on Tuesday, and they were able to schedule me for Friday, which was incredibly quick and convenient. The team arrived right on time, stayed in great communication throughout the process, and did an exceptionally detailed and thorough job cleaning out my gutters. They even took before-and-after photos to show the difference (huge peace of mind!), and the pricing was fair and transparent with multiple easy payment options. Professional, efficient, and truly customer-focused. I'll definitely be using them again and suggesting them to anyone needing gutter services. Thanks for the outstanding work!

I hadn't planned to leave a review at the time, but I'm choosing to share my experience now after a recent interaction that reflected the same communication issues I experienced during the original service. The recent interaction occurred through Yelp's project quote request feature, which sends requests broadly. I did not reach out to this company directly. When I later asked for the quote to be declined, the response felt unnecessarily abrupt, which prompted me to reflect back on my original experience. The cleaning itself was very well done. Jodi arrived with two other cleaners from her team, and the two team members handled the majority of the house. Jodi herself focused on the master bedroom and master bathroom. I have a ~2,100 sq ft home, and I intentionally excluded two rooms (a home office and guest room) from the cleaning, which was agreed upon in advance. For the areas that were included, the finished result looked great, and I was happy with almost everything from a cleaning standpoint. Unfortunately, the communication and billing practices from the owner made the experience frustrating. Although I disclosed ahead of time that I have pets and understood there would be a $50 pet fee, that charge was applied twice, once to the base cleaning and again to an add-on, resulting in an additional $50 charge that was not clearly explained beforehand. Prior to the appointment, pricing shifted multiple times with add-ons and conditions that were not clearly outlined. During the walkthrough, I was asked to upgrade my bathroom to a "deep clean," which I believed I had already booked as part of the initial service. I was also offered mold-related add-ons for two very small specks in the bathtub grout, which felt unnecessary. One item was accidentally broken during the cleaning and appeared to be placed back without mention. While accidents happen, transparency would have been appreciated. After the service, I was pressured to schedule ongoing maintenance cleanings and informed that my initial service had been discounted with the assumption that I would continue regular cleanings. This was never agreed to, and it felt misleading and guilt-driven rather than professional. Overall, the cleaning team did solid work and the home looked great. However, the upselling during the appointment, unclear billing, and pressure-based follow-up communication from the owner took away from what could have been a much better experience. I recommend getting very clear, itemized details in writing before booking. If money is no object, I'd say go for it!

I reached out for a quote on biweekly cleaning and was surprised by both the pricing and the…read moreinteraction. I was initially told the first cleaning would "start at $250," but after providing my home's square footage (2,444 sq ft), the estimate jumped to $700-$900 for an initial clean with 3 cleaners. For context, my home is well-maintained and not in need of a heavy deep clean. I've had professional cleaning services for over 15 years, including in-person quotes, and have never been quoted anywhere near this range for a home in similar condition. What didn't sit right with me was the tone when I mentioned receiving a lower quote elsewhere. Instead of simply standing by their pricing, the response implied that lower-priced services aren't as thorough and that you "get what you pay for." That felt unnecessary and dismissive. I completely understand that every company sets their own rates and standards, but transparency and professionalism in communication matter just as much as pricing. This just wasn't the right fit for me. I definitely would not book this company. UPDATE: Instead of the owner responding to my review public which clearly isn't about just her rate, she's in my inbox privately saying I have no right to leave a review regarding my experience trying to book this company. This time she's trying to insult me saying I "can't afford" her ripping me off, & guess what she's absolutely correct. I have a 2 story very small 2444 sq feet home with 2 occupants secondly my home has been getting cleaned professionally bi-weekly since the purchase 4 years ago in no way in 8 hours needed to clean my home- Which she agreed initially after learning somewhat the condition of my home. My cleaning lady retired was just looking for someone new. I've used Molly Maids over 10 years prior to moving here & I have no complaints- I just wanted someone available on a sooner date. Maybe she needs help with her kids and mortgage but the customers shouldn't pay extra- Try actually asking the condition of the homes before quoting outrageously and degrading other people along the way.
