My AC wasn't working and I knew it was my thermostat that had to be replaced but I just wanted to confirm it. They sent someone to check my AC and he confirmed that I needed a new thermostat. He replaced it with no problem but charged us $350 for it and asked for cash only. I asked for a receipt for the repair and he said his secretary will send me a receipt first thing on Monday morning since their office is closed on the weekend. He showed me on his phone that he uploaded the repair work into their "online program" as proof. I also told him that our smoke detector leaks water when the AC is turned on. He asked us to show him where the main panel was at. We showed him and he said that that wasn't what he was looking for. We told him that's the only electrical panel we have. He didn't even bother to look in the attic to see what was causing the leak. He never figured out what caused that. The guy also said my AC outside is getting old and may need to be replaced soon and he tried to sell us a new AC. We weren't interested and he told us that they have a deal where they will clean the AC twice a year for a specific rate. We again said no and that since the thermostat has been replaced, that we would not need anything else since he never bothered to look into the leak with the smoke detector. He was a bit pushy and tried to sell more services. We still have not received any receipts for the service. Be careful with this company!! read more

Wow!!!! if I can give this business more than five star I would. I initially called them on Thursday for duct cleaning but wanted to also do a check up on our AC UNIT & FURNACE. Rodney the technician came the next day just to do the check up. Rodney was very professional and also kind enough to provide awareness since were still dealing with the pandemic. We needed someone to come out and Che k our A/C and Hector the owner lives on my street so I thought I would give him a try. We had them clean the ducts and replace a duct that had been crushed by someone crawling up in the attic while doing some work. And recently we called them to come out and check to make sure the A/c was working properly. Rodney came out and checked each duct to make sure the the air flow was where it should be and replaced a capacitor that wasn't up to specs. He ran diagnostics and was thorough about the readings. I give Essentra my highest recommendation. Our intake duct had disconnected due to poor workmanship, and we had been without A/C in 95+ degree weather for over a week. Hector, the owner, arranged for a technician to address the issue immediately after I sent him pictures of the duct. Arturo, the technician, was on-time, friendly, honest and highly knowledgeable. It was the hottest day of the year and our AC broke two weeks prior.
