There isn't a check in, you just have to get the attention of the working guys and let them know what you need. It's better to go before noon, because they get very busy after that. But they are happy to find out what you need and get you right into the line, especially if you have a leak or a puncture. They'll let you know if they can repair ($20 2026) or put a used tire on your rim (about $40 2026 - I have a small car) and if they do not have your tires in stock they will order them for you and let you know the price points upfront. They obviously don't have time for long conversations, and they really get to what you need or your options right away. Mantz is opened M-F and Saturday. Check the times, go early if you can. Bring something to read or a game on your phone. There are chairs in the unused bay to wait. They're quick, depending on what your car needs, but prepare to wait in the queue after 2pm. I'm going there from now on to get my tires rotated too. They are a literal hidden gem. The best of the best in Sylva. Sorry other guys.

I said "I don't know, but I probably only need to drop off my trailer," but he didn't hear, because as I was talking he kept walking away from me and was already talking to other customers who were in their vehicles. After talking to every customer except me, he started working on vehicles and ignored me, as I was still standing there waiting. When I asked another employee who I should speak to, the first guy interrupted him, started yelling, and said, "I asked you who was first!" He then escalated the encounter, yelling louder every time I responded to him until we were yelling at each other. He was extremely aggressive and high strung. I am local, I've been to this place several times before, and I've sent my family to this place many times. We won't be going there again after today.

I took my vehicle in for a tire rotation about a week ago, and when I was leaving I noticed a slight vibration in my steering but figured I was just being too particular about my vehicle. That night, headed home on I-40, once I hit about 60 the vibration was so bad my steering wheel was shaking erratically. I pulled over at a weigh station, pulled out my flash light, and to my amazement my two front wheels were missing the weights to keep them in balance. I checked the back, and my full size spare, same issue. I couldn't turn around to worry about it because I had to work. Fast forward to today and going to my local shop here in Brevard. They confirmed that all the weights had been pulled off (you could still see the residue and outline from where they were), and rebalanced them for me. My vehicle drives once again with no vibrations. I'd like to think this was just a mistake on their part, but considering the spare had even been messed with (not even included in the rotation) I find it hard to believe that this wasn't on purpose. Either way, I will not use this business again.

We were surprised with how quick they could get us in and were understanding of the situation. We arrived on the 13TH as scheduled and they were very prompt and so helpful! We walked the lot as we waited, viewed some Ford Broncos and spoke with some of the staff. The staff was so down to earth, helpful and even gave suggestions on local eateries and places to do things.
