So had to pay for a visit with no progress notes, no patient contact, only software check.

How do you not verify insurance before I come in and how do you not make sure the doctor is ready for the appointments. The actual doctor wasnt even in office and the NP or PA or whatever couldn't read the results. Now I have to wait another two weeks, im forced to pull my son my school early because they cant fit me in when I have time. It's very unacceptable

On my fourth attempt, I was again connected to the answering service. This time, the person said they would transfer me directly to the office, only for my call to go straight to voicemail. I left yet another message and, unsurprisingly, never heard back. It has now been nine weeks since my first attempt to schedule an appointment, and I have yet to receive a single call back. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Safe to say, I won't be seeing this doctor.

When I remind him that he was supposed to tell me about his discussion and plan with the other doctors he says, he says "Oh I don't know what to do" and those exact words is all I can get out of him despite asking over and over what they talked about. When I find out about the tests he was supposed to have ordered, I do get a call back (surprisingly since my previous 10+ calls went unanswered), but he says "I have no idea about tests or a plan with your other doctors and if they want tests they will have to order them". But HE is the pulmonologist not them, they can't order them, HE has to order pulmonology tests. And the fact that he can't even tell me about his discussion with the other doctors or that there even was any plan! Sheesh, it should at least be in his notes. He doesn't even deserve 1 star. NEVER go to him, get another referral.

Given that the Civic Center parking lot is located directly across the street, there is a readily available alternative for staff and patients. And then when we switched pulmonogist they proceeded to gas light the situation by not only giving us trouble with them sending the files to the other place we go to now much better btw then they also gas light my patient by keep sending him emails about how now all of sudden now that they got caught they wanna do all the necessary test and that he should schedule an appointment and keep in mind when they were sending this stuff he already wasn't their patient anymore so not only was it harassment they but they were also neglectful on their part big time and I already spoke with the manager so I find it really funny that she said she took care of it yet her employees are gaslighting and harassing patients. They moved from Pasadena to Duarte a couple of years ago. Their office here is also a sleep lab, and it should be quite convenient to schedule a test here. (I did mine back when they were in Pasadena.) The above is a typical yelp review, but the most important thing here is that Dr. Young saved me! Two years ago, Dr. Young diagnosed my sleep apnea, and prescribed the right treatment for me (CPAP). My health improved dramatically, and as a consequence life has become fun again. If you are reading this review, then most probably you have some sleep problems. Don't wait! Get some treatment!

I've never felt rushed like with some doctors, and he encourages patients to ask lots of questions and isn't even bothered by patients reading up online (some doctors get annoyed or sometimes take it personally when you've done your homework ahead of time). I have referred friends to Dr. young and will continue to do so. Also, his staff is pretty great, I've never waited longer than 5 minutes to be seen, they are friendly, and they're pretty together!
