This used to be a great place but it has become an unlicensed cosmetology school. Check for licenses - you will see that only two of ten stalls have them posted. Employees are students and beginners. You will get a Supercuts hair cut for a high end salon price tag. Been there 20 times but the last 4 were awful. Will not go back. read more

My son is 5 years old and has been getting barber cuts since he was 9 months old. We have been to countless barbershops trying to find the best and I think we've finally been successful. I was able to book the appt online which is a must for our schedule. We visited on a Saturday for a cut with Joseph. We arrived around 5-10 min before our appt and we're seen right on time. I showed Joseph a picture of the cut (traditional gentleman's combover with a hard part and slight pomp in the front) - it was the best cut my son has ever gotten. My son also has sensitive skin and Joseph blew the hair off him regularly rather than waiting til the very end. The styling was spot on. Joseph was quick, efficient, and right on the money. While this barbershop is a little ways from my home, I don't plan on going anywhere else again. I'll also add that this shop is clean and the other barbers were professional and talented as well. I was offered a drink and seat several times in a closed station next to my kiddo so they're clearly interested in ensuring everyone gets the best service. read more

First time taking my son here for a cut. He had a long shaggy cut that needed style/shaping and a trim up before school. I told Franco the length requirements and he interrupted. He didn't listen to a thing I said. Obviously our understandings were not the same because he chopped all my sons hair. My son burst into tears as soon as we walked out. I should have been alarmed when Franco said as soon as my son sat down "a bad haircut is just 2weeks away from a good one". I guess I should have taken this as a sign that was what we were going to get. Note to self- even if you book a long scissor cut, I guess when you go to a barber shop, it all gets cut off! Great place to get your haircut! I am in town for the holidays and needed to find a good barbershop. After viewing yelp I found High End Barbershop nearby where I am staying. I made the first reservation I could get and shows up 10 minutes early, was seen right away. My barber, Alex, did an incredible job. He was able to give me recommendations of what I should do to change it up a little bit. On top of a haircut they offer beard trips, full hair wash, eyebrow threading, waxing, etc. Alex made sure to take complete care of me and I will absolutely be returning when I come back to San Antonio. I've been coming here for about a year now. I drive over 17 miles to get there, but it is worth it. Zad is excellent about giving you a fresh cut. The cut is followed by a shampoo that gets all the loose hair out. The appointments are easy to make. The shop is clean and is stocked with beverages to drink while you wait. Make an appointment and you won't have to wait. They do take walk ins but appointments take priority. I feel that my hair is as important to Zad as it is to me! read more

Let me start by saying It was my fault for waiting as long as i did. However, was not pleased with the CS or wait time. Although i did not have an appointment, I was told there would be zero wait. (I even called prior to my arrival just to double check there was no wait time and the guy said no wait, i can just walk in). I showed up literally 56 secs after I hung up the phone. Waited over a hour for my child to be seen while the 4 people that showed up after me was seen first. The guy even asked my kid if he wanted something to drink to which he said yes. To bad the drink never came. I will say the barber that cut my sons hair was great. She knew exactly what I wanted and she executed the cut perfectly. My fiancé had been going to high end barbershop for the past 3 years. He went in to get a haircut for our engagement photos and the hairstylist completely butchered his hair cut. The stylist rushed through his hair cut, did not give a good wash and he ended up with an uneven length haircut and uneven beard, He went back in the next day because they said they could fix it and did an even worse job! He came in with over 5 inches of hair and ended with a short fade and still uneven. He talked to the owner of the barbershop and refused to own up to mistake and also said NO ONE IN THE SHOP WOULD CUT HIS HAIR! I was so shocked to hear that a place he has never complained about and has been going to for 3 years would treat a loyal customer like that. HE ALSO PAID OVER $70 FOR THIS HAIRCUT AND DID NOT EVEN ASK FOR A REFUND! They did him dirty and I just had to let anyone who is trying to find a new barbershop to know his experience. read more
