Just purchased my 2016 Honda Fit brand new from Honda and could not stand being without tints in this Miami sun and was looking to get tints installed immediately. Im very picky when it comes to the tint installers as Ive had horrible experience in the past. I came across high grade sound and security and loved that they offered computer cut , as there is no need to cut on the car risking damaging the car. I saw they had nearly a 5 star review on google, so i figured ide give them a try. I gave them a call, and they told me they were able to fit me in that same day and gave me a quote over the phone. I stopped by , and they put my car right in and started immediately. The shop was very clean and organized. Staff took their time working, car came out amazing. There was no bubbles left on the tints, when usually there is some on the first day that go away after a few days in the sun. The interior was cleaned , cleaning up any sprays they used to install the tints. THE BAD: Upon paying for the job, there was 2 people infront of me paying for their tint jobs and notice they all had different prices for nearly the same size cars and tint quality. One of them payed $30 less then i was quoted and they had a full size sedan , compared to my tiny honda fit. I did not like this, as it seems they price you randomly, and there is no set price. Not a big deal since I was so happy with the job done, but did not find it fair. Secondly, once arriving home and inspecting the job more I noticed some scratches on my door panels right where the door panel meets the window ( Both driver and passenger) . I was angered at this as this is a brand new zero mile car with zero damage, just drove off the honda dealer. The scracthes were minor so i decided to not make a big deal over it, but still I do not find it right to have my brand new car damaged in anyway. Conclusion: Other than that, the installers and shop is a good shop for tinting and definitely recommend to anyone. I would go back with any auto tinting I may need making sure to tell them to please be careful with my car next time. 5 stars if it wasn't for 2 small incidents mentioned above. This is my third visit to High Grade to get my car windows tinted. At every visit, the staff has been welcoming and helpful. The tints are cut using a computer program, so the fit is spot on. I've never had to wait very long and they do a fabulous job putting them on in about an hour. The price is great and you get $10 for checking in on Yelp! Can't ask for much more. The tints are nice and the product they use is the top out there, and for all people out there who really dislike a warm greeting, a little eye contact, a guarantee on your service and general manners from the employees, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! THEY HAVE NONE OF THAT BS KINDNESS EVERYONE HATES. Better speak Spanish too or you get to play phone tag while the owner translates. If you're lucky, as a bonus, the owner will insult you and insinuate that your a liar. Then, you can go inside your newly tinted car just in time to cry from frustration, but don't worry, the tints have you covered, and no one will see you. I just leased a new car and asked my siblings where they had gotten their tints and recommended High Grade Sound & Security. I walked in early today and they helped me out right away. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the man who helped me out but he was very helpful and explained the different type of tints to me and the different shades available. The owner came in and asked me if I've been there before and offered me a 10% discount for being a returning customer. Excellent customer service! I had a set of door speakers and rear speakers installed a while back by these guys, first off, it took about 2 hours to complete, which wasn't the biggest offense. The biggest problem was that the wiring in the trunk for the 6x9's was left hanging, moreover, a while after that I noticed door molding screws missing as well. Shoddy work, won't go back. read more

I wanted to add another review for my recent visit to High Grade! I dropped off my car on my day off at 1:30pm and was having 2 amplifiers, dvd headunit, component speakers and subwoofer installed. As a shop owner I refer all my clients to High grade for window tinting. I had my Wifes car tinted in 2004 when we purchased it brand new, we sold it in 2010 , the tints never faded or pilled. I took my 2016 Ram 1500 for some HID lights, after 20 min of leaving the shop they turned off and I had no lights. I came back the next day and dropped off my truck, and it took about 2 hours to fix but then the next day I had water in my headlights after it rained that night. I went to the dodge dealership and they told me someone drilled holes in my headlights and that is why I had water damage and that warranty will not cover the headlights and the bill was 936.00 to replace the headlights. I will never go back to this place! At least let your customers know before you drill holes in there headlights, everyone should beware next time you get HID lights here. read more
