These guys are A-OK, but there are a few things worth mentioning that hopefully will be constructive feedback. Being just as you go into a corporate office park, they are very convenient for those going/coming from work. Great location. However once inside, there are a few things you run into. Literally. This station is very small. Compounded with a very crowded overpacked layout, it's difficult to navigate. There is actually an overabundance of unshelved stock stored in the very limited open space of the store, making it more crowded and hard to maneuver in. In fact today, there was so many plastic storage bins and stock packed in front of shelves I could not get into the products I wanted to pick up. Hopefully there will be a solution soon that can take that unstocked merchandise in an alternate area (?build an outside storage building?) that can clean up and give back the limited space they have available. However it's even so crowded at the register counter area with products and items to try to sell that there is hardly any room to place the items you want to purchase down...definitely overcrowded even at the register space and it is frustrating. To their credit, they have a good variety of products to offer for such a small store (thumbs up for 40g protein drink Muscle Milk being offered). And they have friendly and efficient staff such as Gloria (she always has a smile and is so efficient to get customers checked out and on their way). .

I came in with a large stack of business mail that needed to be weighed and stamped. The first gentleman behind the counter did not seem to understand how US addresses were written and had a very difficult time navigating the postal Computer system. It took a long time for him to process just 3 out of my 20 envelopes while a long line was starting to form at the other register. It became apparent that he was the only one there behind the counter at this time. People were getting impatient & I was getting frustrated with the incompetence. After another 10 mins, another employee walked back in after her cigarette break...(She was crouched outside when I walked into the store. It should've been apparent that help would be needed with all the customers walking in.) She told the first guy to go take care of the cash register while she took over the post office transactions. She glared at me and snapped "ya know that you could've done all this on the internet" to me. Uh....YOU are being paid to do a job so DO IT!! I DON'T need to explain myself to you. It's about six minutes away from I-40 exit 287 (Harrison Avenue - Cary). This Shell station has eight pumps. At first, I tried to use pump 6, but it wouldn't take my card. I then realized there was a handwritten note on pump 6 that said to pay inside. I walked to pump 8 and noticed pump 8 did not have a sign that said the same, so I used pump 8 instead. I paid at the pump as I normally do with my card. I had no issues except the fuel gloves and paper towels were all out on the side of the station I was on. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, I use a paper towel to touch gas pump buttons and handles. It was nice they actually had a box of fuel gloves. Costco is the only other place I've seen them. Too bad they were out of both gloves and paper towels. I filled up for $3.419 per gallon of premium, which was expensive. Using the app GetUpside, I was able to get $0.19 per gallon back. Also, don't sleep on Sheetz made to order sandwiches.......no, you won't compare it to the best delis around....but for "gas station" food, you're going to be pleasantly surprised.
