    Maple Pecan Pumpkin coffee cake
    Falan E.

The staff here were pleasant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I enjoyed the croissant sandwich but would've appreciated more than what looked like one thin strip of bacon cut up on the sandwich. A serving is three strips of bacon (when it's this thin). The maple pecan pumpkin coffee cake dessert was delicious. I enjoyed an iced pumpkin latte. Very good! No real complaints. I would come again and I do recommend it but maybe pay for extra bacon because this wasn't it. The parking lot needs some help. Way too many pot holes. Be careful pulling in the lot.

Went out to brunch with a friend and got the salad and sandwich as well as some pastries I didn't get a picture of. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really enjoyed the vibe of the place (we sat outside) and it's a great place if you like to sit and chat for a few hours with friends over some good food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great cafe that has a wonderful assortment of pastries and desserts along with sandwiches and huge salads. Plenty of parking and good place to grab a table or take and go. I ended up getting the BLT Salad, Onion Soup, and Banana Cream Cheesecake. The salad was huge and was pretty good with lots of bacon bits and creamy dressing. The French Onion Soup was flavorful with some melted cheese on top. The Banana Cream Cheesecake was excellent! Such a lovely banana flavor that was decadent and so good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere was nice and open and the service was friendly![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is what I got when asking for a well toasted muffin. Maybe I need to start saying well browned?

I have to update today. While this is one of my favorite places to go, and I love most everything here, I get so disappointed when I order a well toasted muffin that looks like it wasn't toasted. I want a crisp, browned muffin. I didn't have it in me to take it back and ask them to redo it today. But why can't they ever get this one right? Is it the way they toast it? I don't know. But this is my result every time. Otherwise, the other food I get here and the staff are always great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's usually quite clean and most always busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I love Chanticleer! I always get the caprese panini with house chips and it is the best! They offer breakfast , lunch, coffee drinks and delicious pastries. You order at the counter and get a pager. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They offer casual indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Prices are reasonable and their bakery items keep me coming back (especially the scones). Friendly staff and one of my favorites in Cary on Tryon.

My friend and I came here for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy. The line to order reached the door, but it moved pretty quick. The baristas were friendly and the food came out really fast despite the long line. I ordered the breakfast sandwich on a croissant which was good although it was a lot smaller than I was expecting. I did not order a drink this time, but I've tried their coffee before and it's pretty good. Aside from the small portion size, I have no other complaints and this is a great brunch spot!

I was shocked at how long the line was (at 2 PM!) but I guess people love their Brecotea :) The array of pastries, both savory and sweet, was impressive. My wife and I got savory options this time around and they were decent, but everything was pretty unhealthy and my chicken curry roll was definitely cold in the middle. We also got lattes and they were really tasty. There's a good amount of seating throughout the restaurant and it's reasonably comfy. By the time we left around 5 PM, it was much less busy, so maybe hit up Brecotea around then if you're interested in a more chill experience. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back, although I may stick to the sweet pastries next time.

The latte was smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced--not overly sweet, just enough vanilla to complement the coffee. The Cragel was every bit as delicious as its reputation suggests: warm, chewy, flaky, and generously filled with cream cheese. A perfect coffee, a scrumptious Cragel, and ideal patio weather--what more could you ask for? This is exactly the kind of local gem that keeps me coming back.

It was very crowded there's not a lot of seating inside, they do have outside sitting. I did like how the inside looked and they had their pastries out front. I couldn't tell what to order and spent a few minutes trying to figure the menu out without getting overstimulated by the time I could even think about asking questions they had a really big line. I ended up ordering a medium cappuccino which I know see from other reviews that my disappointment was not just me. we did get a waffle croissant thing which was not bad. It tasted stale. So it was a bit tougher and chewier or I'm not sure if that's how it was supposed to be ? I'm sure if it was fresh it would have been better. My daughter ended up getting a fruit smoothie and a hello kitty looking Madeline that was banana flavored she really liked that. There are no prices on the things that aren't at their coffee station area. I did ask the guy up front that it was my first time here and I wasn't sure what to get, he just stared at me. Didn't say anything. And then corrected me when I asked for the waffle thing. Soo.. there's that. So I guess come here if you know what you want. Or come during non less busy hours. We only came by because it was across the street from our therapy appointment. But left more disappointed.. and I spent $22 with tip. Not even sure what I paid for or the prices it all happened so fast. So go here don't go here. We will probably try another place.

I ordered a cookie butter latte and an oatmeal raisin cookie w/ walnuts. Both were absolutely delicious, a great combo. When I finished my latte, I dipped my cookie in the cup to get the last of the foam...so good. The baked goods are from Ninth Street Bakery in Durham. How amazing local supporting local. Ich liebe Annelores deutsche Bäckerei!…read more I first got goodies from Annelore's booth at the State Farmer's Market in Raleigh. The Apfel (apple) turnover was delicious, as was the Heidelbeerkuchen (blueberry cake) and Zitronenschnitten (lemon bar). I saw a nice gentlemen there that day who I think may be part owner; based on what I see on their website I wonder if it was Herr Norbert. While waiting for another guy behind the counter to bag my goodies, I happened to mention (to who I think was Norbert) that I'm learning German, and he spoke some basic German to me! Which I understood - OMG, must tell my German teacher. A couple weeks later I needed to bring desserts to our monthly Book Club meeting, and Annelore's was my first thought. I decided to visit their actual store in Cary. Even though it's an hour away from home, I stopped by one day when I had to go to Raleigh for an appointment. An Annelore's employee helped me with selecting about six cake slices and 2-3 different bars, plus some German cookies. The inside of the store is very clean, and there are some places to sit if you'd like to eat there. The employees were kind and helpful (and patient, in my case, trying to decide what to buy for a Book Club group I'd never met in person). Annelore's German Bakery is a wonderful way to take care of your dessert needs and support a local business at the same time. If you need a dessert, cake, scones, or other treats for your home gathering, BBQ, church social, potluck, business lunch, or other event, I would definitely let Annelore's take care of that part for you! 10/10, highly recommend! SO good! Vielen Dank, Annelore's... Ich werde Ihr Geschäft bald wieder besuchen!
