It got even more crowded as I was leaving. The pedicure was nice, they were great about giving updates about what was next and did apologize for the waits. I know other nail salons were closed due to lunar New Year and maybe that was why it was understaffed? I am not going to go back unless I have an appointment, and I would only do appts early in the day on a weekend or on a weekday.

When I sat down, the nail technician started working on my nails. Before he began, I specifically asked him not to use a drill. He continued using one anyway. I was extremely uncomfortable and eventually started twitching because of how uncomfortable the grinding felt. Instead of listening to me or trying to make me comfortable, he told me, "Relax!" I explained to him that it's not easy to relax when you're uncomfortable. He continued being dismissive and rude. I then told him, "I'm paying you to do my nails, so you shouldn't be rude to me." His response? "Then go." So I got up and left. I was then told I had to pay $10 for removal, which I paid. Before leaving, I took a picture of the license displayed on the wall. He told me I couldn't take pictures, and then had the audacity to tell me that I was no longer welcome at the salon. Honestly, the way I was treated was completely unnecessary and disrespectful. I came in happy, with my daughter, ready to have a nice experience. If a customer tells you they're uncomfortable, listen to them. Nobody should be made to feel bad for expressing discomfort--especially when they're paying for a service. I definitely won't be returning, and I wanted to share my experience so others can make their own decision. Customer service and respect matter. By the way he's the short Chinese guy who likes to talk inappropriately to costumers. Diamond Nails & Spa -- this is not how a paying customer should be treated.

But that could have been handled a WHOLE lot better. The next day (!) someone called and let me know there would be a credit for the cost of my haircut if I wanted to call and reschedule the color, which is really the LEAST anyone could do, but honestly it was such an afterthought that I just have no desire to ever go back, credit or no.
