Went in to get acrylics and my toes done nothing to crazy. The guy that did my nails was super nice, the line work could be a little better but other than that they're amazing and I love them but they were 75$... that's crazy. And when I went to get my toes done it was a different lady she was nice it was hard to hear her she was super quiet but when it came to checking out I was told it was 135$... like what I think she saw my face so she started to explain why it was that much so I said whatever and went to pay and then she said "should I make it 136$ for the tip" not like I wasn't going to tip I was but that caught me so off guard and I said "just one dollar no make it 140$" yk because it was so expensive, and she fr said "only 140$?" And I said "yeah" and she started to get super snarky with me and repeated herself "only 140$" I was so stunned I was like "yeah like what do you want?" And she rolled her eyes at me and let out a big sigh and finally let me pay. Mind you she wasn't quite like before everyone could hear her so everyone was looking at me. It was so unbelievably rude. While they do have a sign that walkins are welcome- I would not suggest doing that on the weekend. I went in on a Saturday at 10am and they were able to see me about 30 min later but they were definitely understaffed for how many people were there, and it took 2 hours with all the waiting. It got even more crowded as I was leaving. The pedicure was nice, they were great about giving updates about what was next and did apologize for the waits. I know other nail salons were closed due to lunar New Year and maybe that was why it was understaffed? I am not going to go back unless I have an appointment, and I would only do appts early in the day on a weekend or on a weekday. read more

I came in, politely asked for a new set and a pedi. The gentleman at the front YELLED at me to go sit at "chair 5" I mistakenly went to TABLE 5. He began yelling "FIVE, FIVE, CHAIR, chair!!" Okay, I apologized. I sat down at the chair. I told the lady I wanted black gel on my toes. She was whispering, I expressed I'm hard of hearing. (I literally wear hearing aids) she rolled her eyes and continued whispering. I just guessed and agreed. She says, "fill?" I told her no, I need a new set. It's been a while in the first place but I had also set my acrylic on fire the night before lighting a candle. She assured me I just needed a fill. I explained that I needed a new set. At this point, I was getting frustrated and I become more stern. She began speaking her first language to her coworkers in a very exasperated tone. A man comes over and goes "you just need a fill." I said, sure okay, whatever, I don't care. He laughed and goes "OKKKK NEW SET WE CAN DO IT FOR YOU" No. I don't want it. The pedi was a fine experience beyond the arguing. The poor girl who did my nails was ridiculed so much from the men there that she actually started shaking and rushing to be done. My nails are a complete mess and crooked. I went to 90's Nails and Spa for the first time today and I paid $90 for a full set with coffin shape, gel polish, designs and a matte top coat. The shape is great, a few of the black nails are a little bumpy and when I questioned if they were completely cured because there was a part of my nail that was still glossy - the woman put another coat of the matte top coat on all of the nails that are black and ended up getting the dust from her using the dremel mixed in; I let that go, cured two more times, I asked again if they were done, I was told yes - but my nails were still a little tacky and before I could say anything, she moved the curing lights back to the shelf -- so there were fuzzies sticking to my nails. They're good and the design is good, very similar to the inspo pic but for almost $100; I didn't expect to have bumps and dust ‍ All of the people working there were talking in their native language and that would've been fine... had they not looked at me, chuckled then talked to each other, looked back at me and continued talking - like they were making fun of me for something or another. If I could give no stars, I would. I had an appointment at 10AM. When I arrived there was a sign on the door. "Closed for flooding. We will be at CD nails in Augusta." Seriously? What? I just drove 25 minutes to get here. So I called CD nails and spoke to a woman there who was from 90's salon. I asked why I hadn't been called. She said the flooding happened at 10PM and they hadn't really thought about it. Their customers, that is. They hadn't really thought about their customers. Rather than make any apology or offer any explanation as to why I didn't even merit a voicemail, she simply said. "You can come to Augusta." I have a 5 month old baby and a babysitter I booked JUST so I could go out and have one lousy pedicure. NO. No, I can't just drive 40 minutes to Augusta now. I said, "Do you want to offer me a free pedicure, or a gift card, or anything to make up for this?" She said, "No, I don't think I will be doing that." I decided to give this place a chance, at first I wanted a full set acrylics but then decided to also get a pedicure. My pedicure came out okay and I'm fine with it but my nails don't look ANYTHING like the picture I showed him. I specifically said to make sure the acrylic wasn't too thick because I wanted a more natural look and he insisted that it be thicker because of the "cold weather" my nails are crooked, uneven, and he cut me a couple times with the machine. When he was cutting the extensions he never compared each finger to make sure they're even. And my "French tips" are completely uneven. In the photos I shared what I showed him and what I got. I made an appointment for a pedicure for 1:00 and showed up promptly. They didn't start working on me until ten minutes before 2:00. They also changed the person who was going to do my pedicure 3 times, finally settling on a gentleman whose hands shook so badly he smeared polish all over my toes. They claimed it was because I was only getting a pedicure and the other customers who arrived after me, without appointments, were getting manicures and pedicures. For as busy as it was when I went, I didn't feel rushed through my visit. The gentleman that did my nails was attentive, listened to what I wanted, asked to see my reference photo a couple of times, and worked with skill and efficiency. The result? Perfectly shaped (by hand) stiletto nails, exactly as I wanted them. I was so pleased with the results and have gotten so many compliments on them! The actual space is clean, open, and comfortable. *****Worst nail experience ever. Let me just mention my sisters wedding is in 2 days, we made an appointment for today and actually got right in. We were pumped. My sister wanted this cute like french ombre look. Well she got orange and no ombre. They guy said he would and then when confronted said no sorry. So she got a nudeish orangy color that wasnt even close to what she wanted. I feel horrible. The lady I had killed my nails and filed them so much it was painful. She continued to keep gluing her fingers to mine forcing her to not gently rip them apart. I wanted my nails short and even reiterated after asking for shorter again. Trying to not be a pain I just said fine. My nails are so uneven and different lengths its embarassing. They should be embarrassed.. She kept telling me to relax while forcing me into insane positions just to shape and file my nails. And this wasnt my first time so I know what normally happens. I have never been yelled at or blamed for someones inability to do their JOB. I have washed my hands multiple times since leaving 5 hours ago and STILL have SOO MUCH glue on my fingers. I have never left anywhere with one drop of glue anywhere but my nails. And DEFINITELY have never had a nail tech glue their fingers to mine. Don't recommend, went in for a simple fill. left with a mess nails were thick, un-even, and look like a five year old painted them. I have dried acrylic on the sides of my fingers and stuck under the nail. To make matters worse they charged $60 and took over a hour. Very BAD and SLOWWW service. Fill = 2.5 hours and still looked horrible. Got to the salon at 2:45 on a Friday for a gel fill and reshape (risky time- I know). I got lucky, and there was only one person in front of me, and 4 workers who were all working on people. I sat in the waiting room from 2:45 until 3:30, I would have left if I knew it'd be this long but they said only 15 minutes, and at this point if I left it'd take as much time to drive and wait somewhere else. I finally get to a person, and they take off my gel and take off where I want them cut down a bit. Almost EVERY nail was uneven length (some much shorter than I wanted). When I said something about it he said the next person would take care of it. I get moved to the next table and wait for ANOTHER 35 MINUTES. I finally get moved to a woman who is going to do the actual fill. She takes 20 minutes just shaping it, even though that was the only job of the previous table. I wanted coffin), and when I said that they looked pretty uneven she tried to go back and fix them, but complained the whole time "this is very hard" and explaining every angle she had to file it. She filed one nail so vigorously that she cut my finger multiple times. It's honestly not that hard and for a nail tech you should be able to do this. She says the coffin is an extra $5. I really can't spend anymore time here, as I do have a life and things to do, so I just let it go. (Some square, some are narrow square, none coffin). She then applies my color and only does two coats (at every other salon I've been to, it's 3). I've waited about 2.5 weeks to post this, so they've grown a bit. But you can see how translucent, streaky, and horribly shaped they are for coffin. I got out of there at about 5:15. A 2 and a half hour time in the salon. For a simple fill and only ONE PERSON IN FRONT OF ME. Can't wait to get these off and NEVER come back. read more

I've been coming here for 3.5 years & the service has considerably declined. Stephen aka Seven was absolutely amazing!!!! He did a pedicure & fill in 1.5 hours and was so particular about his work. He was the best!!! When he wasn't there I would go to Rose. If you've ever been herr it doesn't matter if you make an appointment Jason overbooks his nail techs. I came in yesterday to get a pedicure & fill and it was only 1 hour for both. So rushed and no compassion. (Rough) When I called this morning I said I didn't want to wait when I got there. 37 minutes later and they finally start my toes. They even had the audacity to tell me that because I asked for it to be dark she put 2 coats on with the 2nd coat so thick it was disgusting!!! Went to bed at 11 & they were fine, woke up this morning and 4 of them were ruined. They made me feel like because I asked them to be dark she put on 3 coats (total lie) I'm looking for a new salon to go to asap!!! They do not treat their repeat customers nicely at all. Worst service I've had at a salon. Ever. Not one employee could be bothered to greet us or acknowledge we were there. Very rude. After waiting 15-20 minutes we were lead to the pedi chairs and left there to wait. We sat with our feet in luke warm water for almost an hour. Nobody made eye contact or spoke to us. An elderly lady beside us sat with feet in water waiting for her pedi for over 40 minutes and said she had been going there for years, has the same guy consistantly and spends $60 for her pedi every time. She got up & put her shoes back on and left. Nobody spoke to her or apologized. Just as we were ready to get up & leave two techs came to start on us. I mentioned we had been left there sitting for an hour. His response was "we are very hungry and need a break". I have been going to 90's nail for 3 years. The last 3 months have been a horrible experiences (thought I'd give them another chance) but still had rude staff. Gel had not lasted, last time there waited forever while they took people who walked in for pedicures (they are more money), the lady who did my nails broke 3 of them (natural nails) and slopped some glue on them and the gel had come off in less than 2 weeks. New to the area. Made an appointment for my husband and myself to get pedis together. Finally put in water to soak 30 min after appointment time. My husband's pedi got started while I waited. After about 15 min I was told 2 min till someone would be over to start mine, 15 min later I was started. My husband's pedi lasted an hour, mine 1/2 hour, same pedi, same price. The tech my husband had was amazing, attention to detail and thorough, mine rushed. He had another appointment waiting. First time I went here approximately six weeks ago, I picked the classic pedicure which included a really nice foot massage and some hot stones being rubbed around my legs for a few minutes. I have been going to this salon for 2/5 years. Loved it when Tony was there but when he left , I started with Seven. I always have an appointment as I fit it in with my work. The last couple of months, they have been treating me as if I can sit there and wait for them all day. They make me wait and today was the last time.. I know some people have not had a good experience with 90's, but I have never had a problem. I have been going there for 4+ years on and off, through a couple of different owners. Sometimes the wait is long, even with an appointment. But they are also a pretty busy place, with quite a few nail techs. I've had many pedicures, acrylic, and shellac manicures. The faciliity was clean, things were pre-packaged so I knew they had been sanitized...and my nail tech "tony" did such an awesome job on my nails. The tips I had him paint on looked just like acrylic nails. I am headed back today for another set. The price is great $20-$25 depending what you get. The downfall.
