This smoke shot is huge and is open very late on mill ave in Tempe. The employees are always chill af and they got cool ass stuff in their store. I bought a poster with jfk on it because it had a bunch of his quotes infused into his photo. Oh and in case anyone doesn't know! This smoke shop is opening up a smoke lounge a few suites down from it! I'm not exactly sure when it will be open, but it's going to be one of the first of its kind. High maintenance is alway hosting fun events in Tempe and around the valley and none of those events disappoint. **THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE CHANDLER STORE ON RAY AND RURAL!!** So High Maintenance was referred to me by a friend about 2 years ago and I have been a customer since then. I absolutely love this place, the Chandler store is always clean and well stocked. When I say clean I mean it is spotless, the glass cases are smudge free and the place is always vacuumed, I'm a clean freak so I pay attention to this. Also love the small clothing section by the premium items! I worked for an East Valley smoke shop for about six months and one of my biggest gripes was the lack of inventory. High Maintenance is always well stocked with a ton of different things. The displays are laid out nicely. I highly recommend the vaporizers, they have a bunch of different types and the staff is very knowledgeable. I recently went in and had the pleasure of Beth assisting me in purchasing a Pax Vape. She was super helpful and really educated me on how this product worked. Now this is a $250 item and she made me feel confident that it was the right choice for me (BTW I love it!) Great location in Chandler too. It's great to have an amazing smoke shop that's not near ASU!! I will be coming back again and again. read more

they sell fake puff bars! save your lungs a little more time and go buy real ones somewhere else. also save your money way too over priced to be selling FAKE puff bars. i complained a few times about the juice spitting out when i hit it after like 10 puffs and they were useless they just mention how you can hit it before you leave to make sure it works ‍ cool shop but def not cool to be selling fake puff bars who knows what is in them, i just smoke hype bars now much better and cheaper for more! read more

Was strolling on Mill Ave with the wife without a real agenda and decided to swing by the High Maintenance Smoke Shop. Once I walked through the door, we were amazed by the incredible collection of glass and the seemingly infinite hours that must have gone into all of the cases full of artist blown work. The shelves are stocked with the best selection I've ever seen on the market, spanning all price ranges and smoking types. I now consider this place to be the "Holy land of headshops". This place looks like it could be a small mom and pop smoke shop but I was plesantly surprised to see how large it really is. I was impressed by the glass gallery where they have pipes/rigs/goblets that are strictly there to be seenand enjoyed for their beauty. The staff (Owen) told me they try to work mainly with local artists and support them any way they can. They had glass that ranged from your typical $10 pipe all the way up to the jaw dropping $14,000! Something for everything for sure. read more

So I decided to try a cbd pen from here. I was a little skeptical about a 1250mg cartridge for 37.... Decided to try it and cannot tell you how disappointed I am. First off, it's very viscous which hints at low cbd levels. Second it's a 1000ml cartridge. Third it's not full. I'm really curious how less than 1 gram contains 1250 mg of cbd. Went through half the cartridge in a day and it didn't do much at all. Might just be this brand they carry but my guess is that it contains maybe 100mg total. OVERPRICED This place sells glass overpriced glass, available cheaper at already overpriced online retailers like aqualabtechnologies, kultureva,and highpriorityglass and it is insulting. I went in their ready to spend $1400 (after aleady spending at least $800 in their shops) on a piece and was told that the "hook up price" was $1080 on a rig. I had the sense to continue looking, I went on their website the same day and the piece was being sold for $959. So much for the "hook-up price", won't be back. read more

I thought this smoke shop would be worth the ridiculous price tag but unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. I bought a piece from here and it was wrapped so badly that the spiral inside broke off. I went back to return the useless item (it had clearly not been used) and the same lady from earlier said the manager would only be willing to give me a 20% coupon off another item. This smoke is so unhelpful. I bought an ecig and they didn't even give me directions with the kit or tell me how to use it. Then I lost my charger and bought a new one for $14 dollars, then when I found my charger two days later and went to return it they wouldn't take it back because of a 24hr policy. It's not a piece or a hookah, why can't they make an exception. I know why a smoke shop would have a policy that is 24 hours (so people don't bring back heavily used pieces), but it's a charger that is clearly still new. They just lost a customer and I will tell people to take their business else where. If you want real service for all ecig needs go to Butt Out on mill, I went to them and they are more helpful and have WAY better products, higher quality and for the same price. Why would anyone shop here when across the alley there is a smoke shop that had been there 27 years that sell all local glass. This place sometime has glass blowers outside their shop blowing glass That's cool except the price you pay for the local glass.
