First they pressured me to buy the same unit from them for 4x the cost I paid for it. I obviously said no and just paid them for time and labor to install. They installed the unit crooked on my ceiling, they damaged the brand new unit marring the side and corner, they then proceeded to bring the gas line into my garage at the wrong location so i now have an ugly pipe running along the side of my house that wouldn't have been necessary if they had taken the time to measure and use their eyes, and finally they decided to not seal / paint the exterior piping so now it is rusted. I tend to be a fairly accommodating customer so even though I paid ~$2,600 for this poor service I chose to just be grateful for a working shop heater, paid them and let the annoying elements go, that is until today. I noticed after nearly 2 years (they were supposed to have this inspected as part of the $2600 and they never did or this would have been caught - which is technically illegal) that they had failed to properly install the venting for the 125k BTU unit (very large) and as a result the exhaust was coming into my shop. I called them to ask them to remedy the issue, and they informed me that they would be more than happy to charge me for a visit, and then charge me additionally for a repair. I think it is insane that a "professional" company feels they can do sub-par work, damage peoples personal property, perform an install that leaves the customer open to carbon monoxide exposure, and then feel no obligation to do anything about it. My family, friends, and I will NEVER use Trademark again, and I would certainly suggest you find someone else to spend your hard earned month with.

The appointment was a week out. They showed up and worked on the fireplace. The technician was friendly and informative. He ordered a part while at our house. He said that the part would take 2 weeks (that was Nov 14th). December 10th the part was scheduled to arrive the 12th. December 14th no communication, December 18, nothing. December 20 voice mail says "NO LONGER DOING SERVICE CALLS!! Call another number for services other than service calls." I called the other number to make arrangements to get the part. NOTHING, NOTHING AND MORE NOTHING. Now it is winter.....and we won't have heat when the temp drops down. So frustrated and disappointed.

The furnace was not igniting when he showed up so he tested several components. He removed the manifold and regulator to check it out but found nothing wrong yet when he re-installed the manifold the furnace started igniting. He said he didn't really "repair" anything but thought there could be something wrong with the regulator and was going to check with the owner about ordering a new regulator since that seemed to be the issue. A month later the furnace is not igniting again. I have left three messages over the last three days trying to contact them and nobody will return my calls. They don't have an office so I can't go somewhere to try and talk to someone. Daryl did finally call me back and took action to repair the furnace. Revising my review accordingly - just slow to answer the phone and return calls.

Had our annual preventative tankless water heater and propane central heater servicing performed…read moretoday. As an aside, both these systems were both installed by J.A. Bertsch. Eric arrived on time and performed both services in a timely fashion. The units were in decent shape, but the flush of the water heater proved the necessity of annual maintenance for enhancing the reliability of the critical systems. Eric explained everything he was doing and meticulously fine combed through both units. Due to Eric's continued excellence (this was the 3rd time he was here), I plan on maintaining the 'Comfort Club' annual plan with J.A. Bertsch.
