We were stuck out of town due to Covid when our carbon monoxide detectors went off, we called for a quick check of our furnace. Their tech was at our door in 45 minutes! He confirmed what we suspected, our 29 year old furnace bit the dust. The next morning they came back out to give us options on replacements and offered to install the next day! We were not able to get house sitters there that quick so we opted for 2 days later, the install went very smooth and the workers were very polite and covid aware in their approach. We have been having troubles with our multi-zone system for several months. Unfortunately, much of the access is in a crawl space and difficult to navigate. It has required a great deal of troubleshooting. All of the office staff was great dealing with (thank you Jennifer). Kim B. worked with us to make certain our issue was finally resolved. From the time I talked to the office personal about the work I needed done, to the professionals completing the work, I felt like they were concerned about the quality of their work. I called for a appointment and they were out the next day to check out the problem. Blaine explained in detail the work required, he answered all my questions, he showed how knowledgeable he was on forced air systems. These guys went the extra mile and continue to do so. During our heatwave, our AC gave up the ghost. They were out to provide an estimate the day after my call and then specially scheduled installation of our new equipment within a matter of a few days so that we could keep the house cool. They finished the project and have stood behind every minor glitch. Since we completely replaced our entire system with all new equipment and thermostats some minor issues are to be expected... but they have always fixed them in a timely manner. Our heating and cooling system quit working. Eric C came over after his workday was over to inspect it. We had a power surge that blew out some of the boards. He said he would order the parts the next day since the company was already closed. We were never charged for that visit. The boards came in a few days later and Eric came over promptly to replace them. John was cordial and professional. He was prompt and arrived at the designated time. We inquired about a mini-spilt installation in our home. Sadly, we were not prepared for the high price for what we wanted - our hope was that the cost would fall within our budget, but it did not. The amount was in line with other quotes. We had hoped that purchasing a mini-split online we could lower our final cost, but we haven't found a company willing to make that adjustment. Zach and Joseph just finished with duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. they were awesome. they determined that my air ducts were clean and didn't need a "cleaning". They then proceeded to clean my dryer vents which did need cleaning ---- and did a wonderful job! courteous, efficient, very communicative on what they were finding and explained it all. JA Bertsch installed a mini split in my home 10 years ago. I pay a minimal fee for the maintenance plan to have it serviced every fall and spring. 10 years later, it's still going strong due to this regular maintenance. When my hot water tank died Joel suggested that maybe a tankless system would be a good option. He was right!! I love the fact that it's energy efficient, I will never have to clean lime scale out of it and it provides endless hot water.
