The cocktails were well made, and they came out in a timely manner Our server was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Overall, the service was good. We did try to slightly modify a couple of the dishes, and one couldn't be modified, and another was just disregarded, but everything tasted good This isn't the most inexpensive spot for happy hour, but it is a nice atmosphere Some tips: Definitely go the tapas route so you can try a variety of dishes. Perhaps instead of remodeling a perfectly good space, IHG should have invested in better menu items, more consistent food preparation, and beverages patrons actually want on the menu. The local patrons meet or outnumber hotel patrons most nights during the week, but repeated requests for better food and alcohol selections are ignored. I just want it to be better. It's one of our only options available in the evening in midtown!

It complemented the Redfish. The only thing that I would improve on would be the grits. They were a little dry. My husband ordered the pepperoni pizza and Ashley recommended the pepper jelly with it. I wouldn't like that if we were staying multiple nights. But we were there just one night. Also, there were 3 adults. We had two sets of towels. I went to the front desk to get more and they didn't have any. They told me to check back in an hour. (I didn't bother. I just snagged a towel from the gym), The kitchenette was fairly well stocked. But no paper towels. There was a paper towel holder. But no paper towels. I feel like if you have a kitchenette, paper towels shouid be part of the deal. There was no clock in the room. Sure, I can use my phone. But I don't want to tap my phone awake in the middle of the night to check the time. Plus, I don't keep my phone next to the bed. So that was an inconvenience. The side outside door was broken. And there were no poop bags for dogs on the premises. And the garbage was inside the door. So I had to throw out poop bags inside the door. Eww. The room was bright. I really enjoyed that. Plenty of plugs for everyone's devices. This review sounds negative. But itwas an okay stay. I have had way worse.
