Which is thousands cheaper than the competitors! They teach you the 3 basic maneuvers that you need to know to pass the dmv skills test. Including the straight back, the offset/parallel, and the alley dock. They have another truck in which you can practice doing your pre trip inspection and air brakes test. Once you obtain your permit you are able to drive the truck on the road and really get hands on and the instructor with definitely correct any mistakes you make so you're in tip top shape at the dmv. You can come any day of the week except Sunday Time frame is 8am to 5pm And lunch is from 1pm to 2pm Saturday it's from 8am to 3pm Definitely check these guys out and tell them Eric sent you! I am filing this complaint because GSF Driving School changed the training schedule after receiving…read moremy payment and did not provide the service represented before I paid Before payment I spoke with a representative named Bernie several times by phone and in person I explained my work schedule and the days and times I needed for CDL training I was given specific training days and times and was told the schedule was available I also received the available days and hours by message I have screenshots showing the schedule I requested and the school confirming and sending me those days and times After I paid the situation changed The schedule and availability were no longer what had been discussed and confirmed before payment Every time I contacted the school I received different information about the schedule and availability I continued trying to work with them because I wanted to complete my CDL training I paid approximately 2900 dollars toward an approximately 4900 dollar total which is more than half of the total amount Even though I had barely started training the school repeatedly focused on collecting the remaining balance I was told that if I did not pay there would be no class or my class would be moved or rescheduled This put significant pressure on me to pay the remaining balance On September 17 2026 I attended my first training lesson It was scheduled for two hours but I received only about 25 minutes of actual driving I was also told to watch videos and study the pre trip inspection at home instead of receiving the training I expected I requested a refund I was initially told the refund would take about 3 days then I was told it could take 45 days and eventually I was told that they would not refund me and that I should continue taking lessons I have screenshots of the agreed schedule messages payment records and other documentation showing my communications with the school I am requesting a full refund of the approximately 2900 dollars I paid because the service was not provided as represented Before I made my payment, I specifically confirmed the exact days and hours I needed for training. I was clearly told that all of those days and hours were available, and the school also sent me those available times by message. Based on that confirmation, I immediately made my payment. After they received my payment, I was suddenly told that the same days and hours they had just confirmed as available were no longer available. This was a major change from what I was told before payment, and I have screenshots proving the schedule and the confirmations I received before I paid.

The first test you take at the DMV they let you use the truck for free and then every time after is 300 if you don't pass first try. The next best priced school I found was 3600 but unlimited truck usages on the test. I went with Los Angeles Trucking College because I didn't think it would take me 5 try's at the DMV to pass so it was cheaper. I guess that's a risk you have to decide for yourself. This is the bare minimum you need to obtain your CDL. I know this school has other packages that might be better for you depending on what reason you are getting your cdl. The minimum was the best choice for me. Some companies want a certain number of certified hours behind the wheel so the minimum won't be enough for you. I really recommend this school it was smooth sailing the whole way through. The class is 10 hours on the road and 5 hours practicing the 4 movements you have to do at the dmv. Although I paid for only 15 hours there were multiple days that they offered me extra classes because some student called out or they just had extra time for free. I didn't know how to drive manual and had zero experience driving trucks. The first time driving on the road we had to pull to the side and the instructor had to break things down really slowly for me because I kept stalling out so many times. After 2 weeks of class I passed my test on my first try. I was actually really anxious leading up to the test because I just didn't have money to spend if I failed. I had 2 different instructors and both were good and answered any questions I had. They both seemed to know when they needed to step in and correct me and when to let me figure out what I was doing wrong on my own so I didn't feel like I was being berated the entire time if that makes sense. Also one thing I found with this school that I didn't see on any other videos from other schools is when explaining the 4 movements you do at the DMV this school explains it with steps. Like "when "x" tire passes this line turn wheel all the way left". "Hard left until you see the trailer line up with the body of the truck" the reason this is so awesome is because if you follow the steps exactly how they teach you then you are almost guaranteed to pass the 4 movements. You aren't just guessing and trying to eyeball anything. Just follow the steps.
