Second, when a tree branch came thru my roof on a Saturday. Jason came quickly when I contacted him about the tree thru the roof. He assembled the crew and they came the next day on a Sunday. The crew came when they said they would, worked efficiently and safely, did what was promised and answered my questions. In about 4 hours they had removed the tree from the roof and cut down the remaining tree that was in danger of falling. Then they took away all of the debris. All for a reasonable price, considering it was the weekend and an emergency.

I have what's called included bark where two trucks have grown together and split apart from each other. After doing some research this job shouldn't cost more than it does to cut the tree down. Involves cleaning up the canopy of dead branches or sucker branches to allow more airflow through and then cabling about 3 trunks together to prevent them from swaying in the wind. The first estimate only wanted to cut my tree down which is not what I wanted. I want to save the tree. He quoted $3100 to completely remove the tree. The next two quotes to cable and rod the tree was $4500 and $4000. Again they wanted more to do this than to actually cut the tree down. Which my first estimate to cut the tree down was my baseline price. My son-in-law recommended Mitch Drake so I gave them a call and he quoted me $2500 to complete the job. Now we're finally below that baseline of $3100 I was looking for. He told me during the estimate they were several weeks out from doing the job. Finally I got a call they were coming on a specific day which was acceptable. Talking about a crew, there was about eight of them on the job. Between trimmers, clean up crew as the limbs dropped and another that climbed the tree and another that cabled the tree. They have a lot of equipment with them between a bucket lift, Bobtail, and a massive chipper with a high box truck that captured all the wood chips. Very impressive operation. They recommend several limbs to be removed to take some weight off to prevent further splitting. They cleaned up everything when the job was done. Very very satisfied with their work. Highly recommend them.

Despite not being the cheapest quote, I decided to go with Bryan, and he showed up exactly on time, 8:30am, he did exactly what we agreed to, and did it to an expert degree. I couldn't be happier with First Coast Tree. They ended up taking down a large palm that was leaning over my neighbors fence/pool. They cleared out a second tree in the front yard and then removed a huge bush line. They left the area looking cleaned up, and all in all, was a 10 out of 10 job. Oaks, pecans, hickory's, magnolias, and hundreds of azaleas to trim back. I'm picky. Most of the visits to my home have taken more than a day to complete. JEA sent an arborist out (at Bryan's request) one time because the canopies reached over their power lines. Both companies (JEA and First Coast) worked together for a couple of days to clear limbs away from the power lines. I try to wait for the winter months when all the leaves are down. Cheaper for me cause there's usually truckloads of waste to haul off. He's usually spent time walking the property and telling me what he thought ought to be done. He's conscientious about not wanting to kill an old tree that has shade and life left. If diseased, he'll try to shape around it so I can get a few more years out of them. When it's time to take out a bad one, he's done that too. When there's stump grinding involved, for me that's always been a huge tree we had to take down. He's always outsourced someone else that only does stump grinding and told me that's a separate company and I'll have to pay that person. He might have a grinder for little stuff, I don't know. He's never taken down anything little for me. I would recommend this company.

Recommend Integrity Tree Surgeons They have come to my house…read morenumerous times to cut down palm trees as well as trim trees. This week they cut down a massive Oak Tree and did a terrific job. After cutting down the tree, they removed all the debris, cut down the trunk, and put down sod and fertilizer. All this was done in three hours. They cleaned up the lawn, driveway, and sidewalk. They also gave me the best price for the whole job. I highly recommend this company.

I will assume some responsibility as the customer and increase the stars rating because this was a verbal quote and we should have asked for written documentation before the job started. Additionally, not sure about any "trade" or free service rendered in exchange for not putting the fence back because of vines. When I reached out no one said oh there was an agreement or we spoke to your wife and informed her we weren't putting that back. We were just told someone will be out there to fix it. i was never notified of a check issue or that there was an issue with any payment. I never heard anything actually so I can only assume you were fully paid there wasn't an issue. Also my wife was told she could pay by card during the quote (which was the plan) but at the end was then told no she must pay by check so she had to scramble to find checks. In the end: We did get three large trees cut down as asked. You will get the service you paid for, trees cut down and removed. I would just ensure any quote is written and documented so there aren't any miscommunications in what is expected at the end of the job. That becomes text back and forth and phone calls after they leave the job site. Communication-Communication-Communication would seem to be the largest issue here.

When I got home they cut down the big tree and only cut one large limbs above above the batting cage. When I inspected the work. The cut in to my brand new green carpet, the cement boarder around the batting cage was broke in 9 places. I had over 10 12x12 walking pavers that they broke. They did not tell me anything was wrong.
