After reaching out to the nurse again, they said that she had no availability until friday. What a total screw up on the part of the person I initially spoke to. She has two office admins who are very quick to respond to emails, help with appointments, and prescriptions. If need be, they also speak Korean fluently. From the second visit onward, I was charged $150 for just six minutes. When I attempted to discuss my concerns, the doctor told me point-blank that he is not a physician who provides counseling. He suggested that I go find a doctor who actually does counseling, stating that his role is strictly limited to prescribing medication. I am baffled as to how a doctor can prescribe medication without engaging in any form of consultation. Had he made this clear during my first visit, I certainly would not have returned. All he cares about is making money. I absolutely do not recommend this unethical doctor.

I was looking specifically for someone to hold my hand emotionally and walk with me through the fire of the pain I was going through. The work that we did together hacked my subconscious mind and I found that was key to the path of healing and not many people understand this. She's a human just like us that has walked through the same painful path before and so it was incredibly easy to be myself with her even in my most 'crazy' moments. Rather than just helping me cope with the present, she guided me to uncover the deeper wounds I was carrying from my past and showed me how they were influencing my relationships and daily life. Through that work, I've developed a level of self-awareness I never thought was possible. Because of Jess, I've learned to recognize old patterns, heal parts of myself I didn't even realize needed healing, and show up differently in my life and my marriage. I genuinely feel like a new person. Her compassion, wisdom, and ability to gently challenge me have been life-changing. Review of WAISMANN METHOD® Opioid Treatment & Rapid Detox…read more RH Richard Hellstrom 1 review US A freedom I never thought possible So it's been one year since my time at Domus. In that year, I've dealt with sorrow, trauma and stress that would have normally sent me into a downward spiral of unprecedented opioid use. That hasn't been the case. My desire to use opiates, or, my emotional "Off button" is non existent. I've maintained a level of freedom from an addiction that left me for dead and killed so many that I knew, it's nothing short of miraculous. Detox is rough, in a jail cell going cold turkey or well cared for in the ICU. Best tip I have before going, Titrate how much you're using (as best as you can, be realistic but don't prematurely go into withdrawals) so the procedure isn't so intense physically. Thankfully, after you've recovered from anesthesia and are cleared to leave the ICU, you go to an amazing place. Wonderful staff: Chef's who put Gordon Ramsay to shame, therapy sessions from an amazing Psychologist, medical staff who put up with so much and still provide a level of patient centered care that rivals any facility I've been in, a housekeeping staff who's always smiling when working and the rest of the staff, who hold many titles, do many jobs and deserve much praise for their positive attitudes and hard work. If you're reading this and thinking "man, that's a lot of money!" You're not alone. I did pay cash, and afterwards did a breakdown of services provided and the cost. It's actually reasonable when taking into consideration the hospital stay, meds and your stay at Domus. Plus, can you put a value on being free from opiates? I can't. Not to mention I would have wasted more than that on drugs in one year, possibly died and still been in full blown addiction. My advice? Prepare yourself or your loved one for returning home. Rest is important, this isn't a magic wand that takes away the length of rest needed to be healthy. Not interacting with the people who you were using with is crucial. Say your goodbyes before you leave and don't feel tempted to check on those people now that you feel better. It's not worth being in a risky situation. Aftercare: I have 2 practitioners I see for therapy, aftercare looks different for everyone but it's so important to have a safety net of some kind post treatment. I'll be very blunt about this too: This is a huge waste of money, time and your life if you don't want it. And mean WANT IT. Not "I'm tired of disappointing everyone" not "My parents/significant other are really pushing me to do this" and definitely not "This is some magical cure all that will stop my addiction in it's tracks." Only you know when you're done, and when you are, to me, this is the final piece to the start of a new chapter in your life. I'm so glad I was done. 20+ years of using with 15 of them being solid addiction just wasn't fun anymore. Being 35 at the time, I realized my life wasn't what it could be and certainly isn't what anyone should strive for. So it was time for a change. I found the Waismann method online while looking for diagrams of new injection sites, I was at a point of pure desperation. "Opiates.com? They should have some tips on how I can continue to get high" I thought. How wrong I was and how happy I was to be wrong. I shed a tear to find out that something like this existed, I had no clue. And finally, wow. I'm still here. Still free of the desire to use or associate with those in active addiction. My heart still breaks when I see others struggling, and if I could, I would send everyone to get the help they need at Domus. I hope this can help others weighing the choice of seeking this treatment facility or another, to make the choice that's right for them. I've been to multiple residential inpatient programs, 2 months, 6 months, 13 months, none of them did anything positive for me. So thank you again to everyone involved with the Waismann method (I was at the facility in California) for what you're doing. It's working. Look forward to another yearly update, positive or negative, I'll leave my feedback

I am lucky to have known some of the staff of NuView for a few years now. The role they play in…read moregetting people sober is absolutely pivotal. Every staff member has a very thorough education in addiction and recovery. I'm talking book knowledge as well as years of (sometimes harrowing, often inspiring) experiences. They have an authentic passion for recovery. And they know what this kind of transformation should look like. The clinical staff at NuView possesses a diverse range of skills. These skill sets include pragmatic things like self-development training, which can help clients get jobs, write resumes, or even just manage their own money better. But they also teach important qualities like emotional intelligence, conflict management, and how to handle not wanting to get out of bed in the morning. These are important skills to learn after someone has stopped using drugs and alcohol. Why? Life gets hard when you can't rely on alcohol or drugs to make it SEEM good. So you need to do the hard work of MAKING your life better. At NuView's outpatient programs, they support and guide you through that process. Much of that involves group therapy and other kinds of counseling, including family therapy and one on one meetings. They locate your weak points and help you create a plan for dealing with them, always making sure you take it one step at a time. They also share their own knowledge with you. They know what addiction is from a medical perspective. And there's no reason why someone with an addiction shouldn't know that as well. Sometimes people don't know why they feel such a strong compulsion to drink or do drugs. The staff at NuView help clients realize that it's not some moral failure - it's a legitimate mental health condition with neurological, emotional, and interpersonal causes. And it can be treated. NuView is especially good at helping people who have a history of relapse or who have struggled with getting sober even after attending other rehabs. This is because they put more personal care into their treatment approaches than most other rehabs. Their treatment plans are generally customized for each individual client. This makes sense, since addiction is a pretty wide category, and it is not the same for everyone. Their outpatient programs provide a holistic approach to addiction. Clients have access to a safe and supportive community. They also get a social network of other people in recovery, so they can all grow together. You won't feel alone even for one minute throughout this process. For family members, they also put on many events and try to include them in the treatment process. Literally everyone gets a chance to heal and to work on themselves. If you're dealing with addiction now or if you just quit, it's time to treat yourself to a clean and sober life that's actually good. Why get sober and be miserable? At NuView, no matter how broken down you are, you WILL experience a transformation. Simple as that.
