My husband and I couldn't be happier or more impressed with High Sonoran Desert Painting. Tom and his crew answered our questions both before and during the painting process. They provided suggestions when we asked for guidance about what color scheme would look best for our home. From the beginning, the amount of prep with power washing, repairing stucco, sealing wood surfaces, and putting protective coverings over our various windows, and then sealing and priming before starting to paint. Our house got the care it needed after 10 years of ware from the sun and natural settling. Truly, we feel they went above and beyond what the job entailed by taking care of multiple things not originally discussed with the job without be charged extra. This included painting our porch bench, the metal on our gate, and the list could go on. All with the goal of making sure we were happy with the outcome of our home. The little details like this make a huge difference and the kindness and care were exceptional. Alex and crew were amazing from the first conversation, estimate process (fair pricing) through the painting of the exterior of our home at the end of last week. They handled all the prep work to make the surface ready for paint, pulled rock back from the foundation, power washed, lacquered the lights, repainted the black iron, and all garage door parts, front door hardware. The same guy that offered the quote from High Sonoran came back and I told him we decided to go with someone else. Alex and his crew did an amazing job. I was blown away by how detailed they were on the prep work. They raked all the rocks away from the foundation of my home and sealed it. I had some cement crumbling in the front of my house and they repaired it and sealed it. I also had some stucco damage in one spot and they took extra care to repair it so that it looks as good as the surrounding stucco. They primed it and did multiple coats with quality paint and did not thin it out. I have pigeon wire and they were able to get the areas behind it as well. Alex gave good guidance on the colors to choose and also how to approach pop outs. They were able to add my back yard walls for an extra fee and they came out great as well. Alex and his crew do truly exceptional work. They painted a 40-yr-old house I am remodeling as well as my current home this week. The remodel had many issues - wall cracks, lifted window caulking and stem wall erosion. For both houses, Alex found all areas, big and small, needing to be patched, scraped, caulked & latex sealed before painting. Windows, doors, fixtures and pavement were exactingly masked to prevent unwanted spray anywhere. All areas were power washed. After spray painting trim, the crew went back over it with a brush to ensure full coverage. At my home, my son was dismayed about the doves nesting on the front porch column. Alex had his crew gently put the two chicks in a shoe box so we could put them out of the way where the parents could find them. Now that the work is done, the chicks are back on the porch and doing fine. My son is so happy they are safe. I do not know of any other company that would be that considerate of our needs. They did an absolutely awesome job prepping the house, cleaning, taping, covering, etc. Moved the whole damn yards worth of stuff away from the house, did all sorts of extra little touches for free (painted our side gate, some light cans, some speaker covers, installed new lights to replace old, remounted cameras, everything!) and the quality of the work speaks for itself. Our HOA added new colors and the homes here are snapping them up, and I know these guys have done the lions share of the neighborhood with more signs every week!
