i absolutely ADORE this place. this was my second time here and both times have been just amazing. the sweet lady who runs the front register is just so kind and welcoming, and so is the staff in the kitchen. each time i've eat here, they've been so attentive and appreciative of everyone who stops by for a meal. this time around, i wanted to try the báhn mí with the golden tofu. i also got a side of curry and a side of broccoli. this was a DELICIOUS sandwich. i used the curry to dab onto the tofu for extra flavor and let me just say i was not disappointed in the slightest. the lychee and strawberry fruit tea was very refreshing as well and had pieces of real fruit, not just syrups. my mother was a bit overstimulated by the echo of noise (there was a small gathering when we arrived and their voices bounced around the walls easily and made them sound louder than they would have otherwise), due to the high ceilings i imagine, but overall this restaurant is well kept and very clean. i can't wait to keep coming back here to find my new favorite item, this place hasn't missed yet. 10000/10, highly recommend! read more

The food is fantastic. It's freshly-prepared with quality ingredients and so much great flavor. The space is small but clean, bright, and comfortable. The service is so cheerful and friendly even when the restaurant is busy. My main complaint with Hi Su is that they rely on customers using a kiosk to order: there's only one working kiosk, and if a customer needs to customize their order (say, they are vegan and don't want egg in their food) they have to ask for help, and the servers are soooooo busy that a special order means a loooong wait. Here's a hint: ditch the kiosks and hire another person to take orders. read more

So my mom is been plant-based for many many years, and I am a flexitarian with many food allergies to meat. We stumbled upon this place because of my love for Boba tea. Plus, I thought it be a great place for lunch for me and my mom. Walking in it's very modern. They have a kiosk area for to go orders and the staff at the front are very very helpful. Though my husband and I only shared two dishes (bibimbap and clear broth ramen), out tummies were very satisfied and happy. The portion sizes of the dishes are huge, so we were able to still have leftovers for later. This little gem has not disappointed me. I love the Bibimbap and mango smoothie. The ingredients are high quality, you know you can trust whatever is on your plate. I have brought friends that are not vegan and they all agree that this restaurant has very good flavor, despite possibly not using the more traditional ingredients that would have contained meat/fish. We are so happy to find this gem. This is the best Asian food I've ever eaten. The food is fresh and full of exotic flavors. The portions are generous which is great news because we're from out of town, so we can't return as often as we'd like. I am not a vegetarian or vegan and I really enjoyed the food here! My friend had a Chinese vegan chicken dish and I had the pho. Both were more than enough for us and my pho had some nice heat to it. The 4 stars is only because the service is a little wonky such as only one kiosk works and my milk tea took awhile to come out compared to the food. I got the curry and tteokbokki. The portions were huge as usual. The curry was really good; that is usually my go to. I wanted to try the tteokbokki again because I did not like it the first time but I heard that the recipe had changed. This is one of my FAVORITE vegetarian spots in all of Chattanooga, Ooltewah, Collegedale and Cleveland combined. The flavors are outstanding. My favorite dish is the one with the breaded chicken cutlet. I took my parents here (they're not vegetarian) and my mom was so impressed with this chicken that she started asking when we could go back and have more! The staff is always friendly. When the owner is around, he always says hi and checks in with you about your experience, and may also chat a little with you before you leave, just making nice conversation. This is a fairly new place in a great location right on what is referred to as Four corners. The food is all vegetarian and probably most of it vegan as well! But I think even the meat eaters will enjoy this food! It is a rather large menu and everything sounded so good that we were having a difficult time deciding what to order. So, since there were 4 of us, we ordered quite a few dishes and shared so that we could all taste the different menu items. We went about 2pm. so there was no wait and our food came out pretty quick. We each enjoyed it all and each of us came up with something different as our favorites!!! Which is to say that you will love this place as much as we did! The dumplings were a hit with everyone! I had their passion fruit tea with agar jelly and a bibimbap. The boba was tasty for the area but pretty overpriced for this area. Still, if you need a boba fix, it's not bad. The bibimbap was decent. Maybe 6/10 because they didn't give gochujang for the bibimbap which it kind of a staple for the dish. Still, the veggies were fresh. The sesame flavor was there. You get a warm welcome and a clear introduction to the electronic ordering system. You could probably figure it out anyway, but go ahead and let the delightful staff members get you oriented. It's a great meal and it is all vegan or vegetarian! You'll be glad that you came even before the food arrives while you enjoy a refreshing and creative beverage. Have a seat in the neatly designed interior seating, there is only one table outside. There are some great Asian fusion cooking books arrayed on the walls as decoration, but you are invited to pick one or two to browse as you await your meal. Workers are really kind and it's a very peaceful atmosphere. The food is top notch! If you're new to the place, you can let the workers know and they will take good care of you. You can also order right away from the screens up front and the kitchen crew works quickly to get your dishes out as soon as possible. They're quick but have great quality! I had veggie pho and passion fruit iced tea. This was the only thing that appealed to me. The pho was so so..very different from what you get in a Vietnamese restaurant. It wasn't good or bad...just neutral. This was broth over noodles with broccoli, tofu, plant based meat, carrots placed in sections rather than mixed with the broth. I don't know if the noodles were rice or wheat. The tea was delicious but much too sweet to finish. I doubt I will go back. The staff were attentive and friendly. read more

Man, this place was an unexpected gem! I'm visiting from out of state and always have trouble not only finding vegan food, but good vegan food when I come to TN. The food was amazing.
